Biography: Avery grew up with her adopted mother in China town, New York. Her step-mother always told her how great her Dad was without revealing he was a God. She has always had a fascination with fire. One day, she encountered a Automotones (Creatures crafted out of metal and endowed with life by the smith-god Hephaestus) named Alexander who informed her that he was her protector and informed her that she was one of the daughters of the god Hephaestus. She then left her step-mother with her new protector and headed to Camp Half-Blood to train, control her powers, and meet other demi-gods and hopefully meet other sons and daughters of Hephaestus.
