Username: Gromit of VulcanCharacter Name: Jackson VakarianAge: 26 (Twenty six)History: Jackson is one of the many prestigious trainers to come out of Pallet Town in recent years, though anyone who knew him as a child would be surprised to hear that he became a Water-type Gym Leader, or even a trainer for that fact. When he was young, Jackson wanted very little to do with Pokemon, being far more interested in writing human books for human people - not because he disliked Pokemon, but simply because he wasn't that interested in them. The fact that he was aqua-phobic, and that over 19% of all known Pokemon are Water-type, was also a key factor in this disinterest. However, this all changed on his fifteenth birthday.
Being allowed to visit the far-away region of Hoenn, Jackson went all around the region studying its human history and people. It was when he headed to Sootopolis City that things took a turn for the worst. Initially forced onto a back path on Route 123 by a heavy rainstorm, Jack was forced to seek shelter in the trees - until he was attacked by an angry swarm of Duskull. It was only when they eventually managed to tip him into the water that he truly began to panic. Luckily for Jack, though, a wild Tentacool helped him back to dry land, making sure he survived, and he quickly overcame his fear of large bodies of water, having been saved by one of its denizens (although this was replaced by an intense dislike of Duskull).
It was at this point that Jackson embarked on a brief stint in the military, learning how to pilot a seaplane, use all manner of firearms and some unarmed combat during it - he wanted to toughen up and make himself ready and worthy to train Pokemon. Upon returning to Kanto, Jack began his Pokemon journey, picking a Squirtle as his starter and battling his way to the top of the Water trainers, even managing to beat half of the Elite Four before being overwhelmed. Undeterred, Jack continued to train, moving to the Johto region after his parents did the same, and eventually formed a more than formidable team. When Whitney stepped down as leader of the Goldenrod Gym, Jack was more than happy to take it over and give Johto the Water Gym he felt it deserved.Home Town: Pallet Town, Kanto.Gym: Goldenrod City - while the Gym under Whitney was composed of a Clefairy-shaped maze, Jack soon made a great deal of changes to make the Gym more Water-type friendly. The Gym is now more akin to Cerulean City's, in that it is in essence a large pool, but instead of a linear path lined with under-Trainers, the Goldenrod Gym requires challenging trainers to follow either one of two routes over the water - skipping from platform to platform - to get to Jack. Some platforms are rigged to tip over if skipped on, where the fast flowing water will send the trainer back to the start, while others drop a pile of Magikarp atop the trainer. Upon reaching the main platform, it rises up to the main battlefield, which is accessible for watchers via a staircase on the outside of the Gym.Badge: Coral Badge.Personality: Calm and mellow, Jack is not unlike most Water-type Pokemon in temperament - he isn't the sort of person to rush about, trying to accomplish anything and everything in life. He has a very specific goal in life - to become the best Water type trainer ever - and has no limit of energy to put toward that cause. He has a surprisingly dry sense of humour, given his speciality, but he is very rarely rude, and offers assistance, items and occasionally even Pokemon to trainers starting out on their journey.Pokemon: Quote: Species: Blastoise / Female - Relaxed NatureAbility: Rain Dish - This Pokemon recovers slightly when it is raining.Nickname: TumblerMoves: Water Spout / Earthquake / Attract / Skull BashOther: Carries a Splash Plate to boost the power of Water-type moves. Jackson's starter Pokemon, gifted to him by Professor Oak - had been with Jackson for some eight years now, though they are so close one would assume longer. Has had two off-spring - one, Ruff, is on Jackson's easier Gym team, while the other, Riot, currently resides with Devyn Monroe, the Water-typing Elite Four. Appearance: Species: Golduck / Male - Hasty NatureAbility: Swift Swim - Boosts Pokemon's speed in the rain.Nickname: SpikeMoves: Ice Beam / Low Kick / Hydro Pump / PsychicOther: The jewel in his forehead is in fact cracked down the middle thanks to a fearsome attack by a trainer's Fearow. This means Spike's psychic powers can sometimes be a little hard for him to control, though not since he underwent some mental tutoring with Mark Lassiter. Is currently learning to play an electric guitar.Appearance: Species: Floatzel / Male - Mild NatureAbility: Swift Swim - Boosts Pokemon's speed in the rain.Nickname: HeraldMoves: Brick Break / Protect / Scald / Ice BeamOther: Carries a Mystic Water necklace to increase power to Water-type moves. As opposed to all normal Floatzel, Herald hasn't any spots on his back - neither Jack or Herald seem particularly worried about this.Appearance: Species: Tentacruel / Female - Quiet NatureAbility: Rain Dish - This Pokemon recovers slightly when it is raining.Nickname: CallieMoves: Sludge Bomb / Confuse Ray / Dive / Wring OutOther: Carries a Black Sludge in order to heal herself every 'turn'.Appearance: Species: Sharpedo / Male - Lonely NatureAbility: Speed Boost - This Pokemon gains a boost in speed at the end of every turn in battle.Nickname: JawsMoves: Protect / Crunch / Ice Beam / WaterfallOther: Jaws is of the shiny variety, being purple in colour instead of blue.Appearance: Species: Dragonite / Female - Jolly Nature [This Pokemon's nature has no effect on her stats.]Ability: Multiscale - When this Pokemon is at full health, attacks do half damage.Nickname: SelinaMoves: Hurricane / Thunder / Dragon Pulse / Hyper BeamOther: Was given to Jackson by Ally, as thanks for his assistance during the Goldenrod Incident - the offspring of her Dragonite, Xander. Her shell is extremely old, with small patches of algae and a few cracks running over it. Possesses a very refined and regal personality, hence her name.Appearance: Species: Politoed / Male - Relaxed NatureAbility: Drizzle - When this Pokemon is switched into battle, it immediately begins to rain.Nickname: JoeyMoves: Perish Song / Hypnosis / Earthquake / SubstituteOther: Carries a King's Rock to increase the chances of a flinch.Appearance: Species: Swampert / Male - Relaxed Nature [This Pokemon's nature has no effect on his stats.]Ability: Torrent - When a Water-type move is used, it will do 150% of its damage if the Pokémon using it is below 33% of its HP.Nickname: JackMoves: Waterfall / Ice Punch / Earthquake / CounterOther: Was given to Jackson by Devyn, as thanks for Riot, the Elite Four's Squirtle, who was bred for him by the Goldenrod Gym Leader. Hatched in Blackthorn City. Has been 'imprinted' on by Selina, who now sees him as a father figure. He has yet to realise that behind their sometimes intimidating appearance, most of them are sweethearts.Appearance: Species: Seel / Male - Jolly NatureAbility: Hydration - If it is raining, this Pokemon is healed from any status ailment.Nickname: RufusMoves: Headbutt / Perish Song / Surf / Icy WindOther: Captured in the Safari Zone.Appearance: Species: Wooper / Female - Relaxed NatureAbility: Water Absorb - This Pokemon is immune to, and healed by, Water-type moves.Nickname: LottieMoves: Water Gun / Counter / Recover / Mud ShotOther: Captured in the Safari Zone. Carries a trident, hence why he is known by some as King Trident. Sprite: Other: Possesses a third-degree burn scar on his chest, a 'gift' from a spectacularly inaccurate Charizard, and a puncture scar on his shoulder, where his Seaking introduced himself upon their first meeting. xxxxxxxxMark Lassiterxxxxxxxx "Do not worry, I'm not allowed to read my foe's mind during battle." Age: 28
History: Mark was born within Saffron City to a loving mother and father. Nice kid, nice life with very few downs. Around the time that the Leader had decided to wipe out the other Gym, Mark had become interested in the Psychic prowess. From then, he became an understudy to Sabrina, along with another Trainer. He watched many matches for the badge. He studied on the power of Psychics and trained himself mentally.
Soon came the day when the current Leader had to step down and give the gym off to and understudy. Although he had studied and trained for so long, his spot was stolen by the other understudy. With disappointment being apparent on Mark's face, he left the Gym. Several years after, Saffron Gym had been remodeled. Mark had tried many times to overthrow the Leader, but was tossed aside each time. He had decided to go off to Johto for training to beat her and claim his rightful spot. At least, until he found a different gym.
Within his travels, he came across the tiny town of Cianwood. It was quiet and quaint. And it became even better when Mark had learned that the Leader was a user of the Fighting type. Knowing this, he entered the Gym to challenge the Leader for his place. A short battle later, he had won. It was like Saffron all over again.
With his win, Chuck and his understudy were forced to leave and Mark took over the Gym. In a few short years, Mark had changed the Gym into what it is today. A big, blank room. He had set a device upon the entryway which read the mind of the people entering. Through quick judgement, the stage would be set and the challenger would commence his run. It had taken Mark a majority of the years to come up with a device such as this, and with the finishing touches in setting it up, he opened his Gym for battles. Since then, he has been waiting for a worthy challenger. Alongside that, he has been waiting for a completely different challenger, the one who gave his rightful spot away. Sabrina.
Home Town: Saffron City
Gym: Cianwood City. Upon entering the gym, the challenger will encounter a mirage version of their home town. Must navigate the town and find the hidden Leader. The Leader is the only one not disguised. This trap will only become apparent if the person entering wishes to battle. if not, the gym will be one big, empty room with the Leader on the opposite side.
Badge: Psyche Badge
Personality: As most other Psychics, Mark is flat out calm. He shows little to no expression in most every case. He can, and more likely will, be quite serious and sarcastic. There's not much to explain him other than that.
Exeggutor (Rotuggexe) Harvest Naive Trick Room, Sleep Powder, Dream Eater, AncientPower Enigma Berry (within leaves) .: Rotuggexe is one of Mark's older Pokemon, and one he spent quite some time trying to perfect. Due to his ability, He's allowed multiple uses of his Enigma Berry, allowing an incredibly rough fight towards even Dark or Fire-typed foes. While his offensive set is limited, being able to change the Speed setting to let him move first, then drain other Pokemon's health while recovering his own or just boosting his own stats help him keep in own in most any match :.
Solrock (Korlos) Levitate Quiet Rock Slide, Stealth Rock, Flamethrower, Solarbeam Enigma Berry (held with Psychic power) .: Much like Rotuggexe, Korlos' Enigma Berry can cause trouble for those who can't OHKO him. He's meant to work in tandem with Emile, who sets up the sun that Korlos feeds off of :.
Mr. Mime (Emile) Filter Modest Protect, Shadow Ball, Focus Blast, Sunny Day Colbur Berry (Unknown where its hidden) .: Emile was Mark's first Pokemon, who also acts as Mark's personal mirror, tailor, and architect. In battle, he's meant to either set up the sun for Korlos, stall to scout, or charge headfirst into a fight with powerful moves backed by an amazing Special Attack stat :.
Alakazam (Mazakala) Synchronize Modest Signal Beam, Psychic, Recover, Reflect Metronome (appears every time move is used continuously) .: Mazakala is Mark's smartest and most strategic Pokemon next to Sorgatem. He can and will use what's around him as weapons, cover, and so on. Due to his paper-thin defenses, Mazakala will usually set up Reflect, blast whatever moves, and Recover when required or set up more cover for himself :.
Bronzong (Gnoznorb) Levitate Sassy Earthquake, Payback, Confuse Ray, Explosion Life Orb (Held within the bell) .: Gnoznorb isn't the standard Bronzong, instead he's more offensive and meant to cause the foe to hurt themselves or even give them a nice dose of Payback if they break through the confusion. With each of his damaging moves back by a Life Orb he'll live to a maximum of 10 turns if he's always attacking. However, most Pokemon won't live to see him faint, as an Explosion is due at the last second :.
Managing Gym:
Claydol (Lodyalc) Levitate Bold Trick Room, Explosion, Toxic, Grass Knot Leftovers (Unknown where held) .: Lodyalc is part of Mark's back-up Trick Room team. Not only that, but he's the main chef in Mark's Gym, and very handy with the utensils as well :.
Gallade (Edallag) Justified Hasty Swords Dance, Psycho Cut, Thunderbolt, Brick Break Salac Berry (Has tied around neck on string) .: Edallag has a grade-school like temper and will throw a tantrum if things don't go his way. As well as being on of Mark's few powerful Psychical fighters, Edallag helps Nyx with babysitting Flubber and Lodyalc with cooking :.
Slowbro (Orbwols) Regenerator Brave Slack Off, Surf, Psyshock, Flamethrower Rowap Berry (Held within second mouth) .: Orbwols, while slow, isn't one to be underestimated in a battle. With his three powerful moves that range from all encompassing, to status, to a Physically Special hit, there aren't many Pokemon that can stand up to his assaults. Not only that, but he's able to heal up what damage has been done, allowing him to be an infurating member to fight :.
Starmie (Eimrats) Natural Cure Timid Scald, Recover, Thunderbolt, Ice Beam Wise Glasses (Duct taped to gem) .: With access to the Bolt-Beam combo, Eimrats is one of Mark's best contenders. Not only is it allowed Freeze and Paralysis, but its Scald move can stop Physical attackers in their tracks. Eimrats is also Mark's faster member, and strongest in Special Attack, which is why he doesn't use it in Gym battles, the trainer wouldn't last very long in the ring with it. Its also not the best of babysitters :.
Metagross (Sorgatem) Clear Body Jolly Agility, Meteor Mash, Earthquake, Zen Headbutt Leftovers (Held within mouth) .: Sorgatem, the strongest(Physically), smartest, most strategic Pokemon in Mark's arsenal is also the one who's seen the most action. Known as the Agiligross, Sorgatem allows for a quick set up of Agility to be able to speed by opponents while also being able to take a hit. Once sped-up, Sorgatem is made to tear through enemy after enemy :.
Wobbuffet (Dire) Telepathy Relaxed Mirror Coat, Counter, Destiny Bond, Encore Leftovers (Held by tail) .: Dire works like any other Wobbuffet, he's sent out, takes a hit, and repels it with the appropriate move or KOs the Pokemon attacking him instantly. He also never really moves, once he's released he just. . .stands there. . .eeriely. . .biding his time :.
Jynx (Nyx) Dry Skin Relaxed Mean Look, Perish Song, Signal Beam, Ice Beam Occa Berry (Unknown where held) .: Once Nyx is released, it's basically a guaranteed kill on somebody as long as she still stands. With Mean look and Perish Song, she'll either take out a Pokemon or force a trade off, allowing Mark to adjust accordingly. If she's not desperate for a quick KO, she'll stick with Signal and Ice Beam to snipe enemy Pokemon down fast from a distance. In addition to being a rather irritating foe, Nyx is also the main caretaker of Flubber and any other younglings to cross her path :.
Solosis (Flubber) Regenerator Quiet Psywave, Trick, Psychic, Rollout Choice Scarf (Tied around forehead) .: Being the newest, and also youngest, member of Mark's team, Flubber doesn't have much, if any, battle experience. She currently is in the care of Nyx, who has some big trouble trying to take care of the little flying ball of psychic goo. Flubber also tends to bounce around the entire Gym, smashing whatever it is she runs into. Mark just really hope she becomes a powerful Pokemon to use in battle to make up for the past incidents with her :.
Slowking (Knickers) Regenerator Quiet Flamethrower, Earthquake, Trick Room, Scald Rowap Berry(Held in second mouth) .: Knickers, while slow, is quite intelligent, more of an opposite to Orbwols. Just like Orbwols, he can stop a good number of foes or set up Trick Room and speed by them. He was obtained back in 1994 when a strange older man demanded that he catch a Slowpoke to beat Sabrina with. Regardless of having a stronger Pokemon, it didn't help at all. :.
Other: Mark's Wobbuffet, Dire, is only used in certain cases, hence its name. His natural eye color is green, the yellow is due to contacts, as he is nearsighted. Mark is also a decent swordsman, having been taught by Calvin McCloud on how to use a Schiavona.Charzinicor

Character Name: Reno S. Morado
Age: 25
History: He would never admit it, but growing up in Vermillion City, Reno idolized the town’s Gym Leader, Lt. Surge. When he was far too young to remember, both of Reno's parents served along-side the 'lightning American' in combat. What he still doesn't know - to this day - is that both of his parents were captured by the enemy forces, and tortured to the point of becoming mere shells of their former beings. At that point, Lt. Surge took it upon himself to raise the young Reno as if he were his own, so that led the redhead to believe that the 'lightning American' was his biological father.
It was with Lt. Surge serving as his 'father figure' that Reno developed a remarkable knowledge of Electric-type pokemon(his personal favorite), which earned him his first pokemon at the young age of seven – instead of going for a traditional starter like everyone else, Reno took a page from the legendary trainer Red, and started with a Pikachu(the offspring of Lt. Surge's Raichu); unlike Red, however, he evolved his Pikachu into a Raichu(Vincent). His starter in hand, Reno took on the Gym Leader Challenge.
During a training session for a Cerulean gym battle(he went for the Kanto gyms), Reno caught two more pokemon to add to his ‘electrifying’ roster – a Magnemite, which(after travels in Sinnoh) became a Magnezone(Distortion), and a male Electabuzz, which(also after travels in Sinnoh) became an Electivire(Surge, after his mentor). Time passed, and Reno had all the Kanto gym badges. But where else could he go? To Sinnoh, of course!
Reno’s travels brought him to the newly-discovered Sinnoh region next, where he caught another Electric-type pokemon - a mischievous little Rotom(Sparx). During his time in Sinnoh, Reno studied up on Electric-type pokemon even further at the Sunyshore Gym, under the tutelage of Volkner(Volkner gave him the Electirizer needed to evolve Surge). The Sunyshore gym leader told him that there were a few gyms open in the Johto region, so that’s where Reno headed next.
As Reno was preparing to head for Johto, Volkner contacted Lt. Surge, explaining that the redhead expressed an interest in learning to pilot a plane during his stay in Sunyshore. Surge then contacted Reno himself, encouraging his protege to learn how to pilot, believing that an aerial perspective could prove useful to him. A bit skeptical at first, Reno agreed, going through a stint in the Kanto Air Force, which went into his early twenties.
After his stint in the Kanto Air Force ended, Reno arrived in the Johto region, and headed straight for the Gym Leader Commission(GLC) building in Goldenrod City. His team fully prepared, Reno set foot into the GLC building, where he applied for the position of Mahogany Town’s gym leader. Within days, he was accepted. He’s spent the last few weeks making renovations to (now)his Gym.
In the aftermath of Goldenrod City, Reno (surprisingly) received a new pokemon - a female Luxray(Kamitsure), which was a birthday gift from Lt. Surge. She seem(ed) a bit wary at first, but over time, she'd grown to trust Reno and Vincent, at the very least. In addition to Kamitsure, Reno's next pokemon came into his possession a good while later - a male Eevee he obtained from Bill(Fudo), which he evolved into a Jolteon.
Shortly after arriving back at his Gym from Goldenrod City, Reno was visited by Unova native Alistair, who gave him quite a surprise - this surprise was in the form of a hyper little Sinclair(now a Zebstrika), a Unova-native Electric-type pokemon; after a good deal of intense training, Sinclair evolved into a Zebstrika. Deciding to get a more traditional starter - if one doesn't count Vincent as a Pikachu -, Reno journeyed to New Bark Town, where he received Sky(now a Sceptile) from Prof. Elm.
A trip to the Safari Zone proved to be rather fruitful for Reno - he obtained another Unova-native Electric-type pokemon. The pokemon he found in particular was the social little Samus(now a Galvantula), who seemed to like attaching herself to his face. After catching Samus, Reno paid a visit to the Game Corner in Goldenrod City, where he earned enough Coins for another new team member - Twitch(now a Porygon-Z), who became fast friends with Distortion. A return trip to Mahogany Town - to repair the damage a certain young Trainer did to his Tesla coil maze - brought a 'shiny' new addition to Reno's team; this addition was a shiny Voltorb, which has evolved into Electrode(Zap-Zap), who had taken quite a liking to the redhead.
After MC'ing the water race in Goldenrod City, Reno invited League Champion - and possible love interest - Emily Milliardo along on a trip to the Safari Zone. He didn't find any pokemon in the Zone that 'sparked' his interest, so a good while after that excursion, Reno's team was soon joined by a (rather)recognizable Electric-type pokemon - in this case, a female Pikachu(Go-Go) that Vincent seems to have a soft spot for.
Home Town: Vermillion City, Kanto region
Gym: Mahogany Town Gym – challengers to the Mahogany Gym must navigate a maze of Tesla coils(de-activated) to reach Reno. Throughout the maze, five gym trainers are scattered. At the end of the maze is the battlefield, which is made to look like metal plates, with platforms for the Trainers to stand on during battle on either side. There’s a Tesla coil on each corner of the field.
Badge: Spark Badge
Personality: Reno is probably the most laid-back guy you could come across. After a gym battle, he’s been known to have lunch with the challengers. He’s easily likeable. Watch out for his temper, though - he's got the 'fiery temper of a redhead', so to speak.
-Pokemon- Species: Raichu(male) nature: Serious( +?, -? ) Nickname: Vincent Ability: Static(contact with this pokemon may cause Paralysis) Moves: Rain Dance, Volt Tackle, Grass Knot, Thunder Other: holds a Damp Rock in battle to lengthen Rain Dance. Usually seen on Reno’s shoulder. his seemingly innocent looks mask what people would describe as an 'evil' Raichu...but you don't believe that, right? Vincent seems to have a soft spot for Go-Go, the (female)Pikachu being a recent addition to Reno's team.
Species: Magnezone('male') nature: Docile( +?, -? ) Nickname: Distortion Ability: Analytic(if the pokemon is the last to attack, their move becomes more powerful) Moves: Flash Cannon, Magnet Rise, Wild Charge, Explosion Other: earned the nickname ‘Distortion’ because it delights in distorting radio signals around Mahogany. Reno refers to him as a male, despite being a genderless pokemon. to guarantee the use of his new ability, Reno gave Distortion a Lagging Tail, which he fashioned into the Magnezone's 'tail-end' magnet-shaped appendage.
Species: Electivire(male) nature: Adamant( +Atk., -Sp.Atk. ) Nickname: Surge Ability: Motor Drive(this pokemon's Speed is raised when hit by an Electric-type move) Moves: ThunderPunch, Wild Charge, Ice Punch, Low Kick Other: named after Reno’s ‘idol’, Lt. Surge of Vermillion City. Wears dog tags around his neck for some odd reason(they don't do a thing; he just likes to wear them). seems to form an instant rivalry with any known Swampert(this may be due to a battle with Jackson's Swampert, Jack).
Species: Luxray(female) nature: Rash( +Sp.Atk., -Sp.Def. ) Nickname: Kamitsure Ability: Guts(ups Atk. if suffering from BRN, PAR, PSN, SLP, or FRZ) Moves: Thunderbolt, Superpower, Ice Fang, Crunch Other: a birthday gift from Lt. Surge. wary of other people/pokemon, save for Reno and Vincent. to activate her new ability, Reno gave Kamitsure a Flame Orb.
Species: Rotom('male') nature: Modest( +Sp.Atk., -Atk. ) Nickname: Sparx Ability: Levitate(this pokemon is immune to any Ground-type move) Moves: Shadow Ball, Thunderbolt, Dark Pulse, Hydro Pump(Wash-mode move) Other: when not in battle, Sparx likes to inhabit the Tesla coils of the Mahogany Gym. usually seen laughing and/or snickering. like Distortion, Reno refers to Sparx as a male, despite being a genderless pokemon.
Species: Zebstrika(male) nature: Mild( +Sp.Atk., -Def. ) Nickname: Sinclair Ability: Motor Drive(this pokemon's Speed is raised when hit by an Electric-type move) Moves: Wild Charge, Rain Dance, Thunder, Thrash Other: obtained from Alistair, DI and Unova-native, in Mahogany Town. his evolution brought two things - a rivalry with Kamitsure, and a Persim Berry to relieve confusion from Thrash.
Species: Pikachu(female) nature: Naive( +Spd, -Sp.Def. ) Nickname: Go-Go Ability: Static(contact with this pokemon may cause Paralysis) Moves: Thunderbolt, Electro Ball, Hidden Power(Ice), Agility Other: Go-Go originally belonged to famous rocker Adonis Sanguine. after his supposed disappearance, the Pikachu made her way to the Mahogany Town Gym, where she was nursed back to health by Reno and Vincent. since Vincent had a soft spot for her, Reno decided to integrate Go-Go into his Gym team, giving her a new moveset that played to her naturally-high Spd. Go-Go now carries a Light Ball, doubling her Atk. and Sp.Atk.
Stored Pokemon:Porygon-Z Species: Porygon-Z('male') nature: Modest( +Sp.Atk., -Atk. ) Nickname: Twitch Ability: Adaptability(powers up moves that are the same type as the user) Moves: Thunderbolt, Tri Attack, Ice Beam, Recover Other: Twitch - obtained orig. as a Porygon from the Goldenrod Game Corner - earned his nickname form his spastic movements. wears a Silk Scarf. Reno refers to Twitch as a male. Sceptile(M) Species: Sceptile(male) nature: Bashful( +?, -? ) Nickname: Sky Ability: Overgrow(powers up Grass-type moves in a pinch) Moves: ThunderPunch, Giga Drain, Leaf Storm, Hone Claws Other: Reno obtained Sky as a Treecko from Prof. Elm. he outgrew the pilot's helmet that he had as a Grovyle, so Reno gave him a pair of goggles instead. evolved into Sceptile during the badassery in Hoenn. his scarf is now fastened with a Miracle Seed pin, which boosts the power of his Grass-type moves. Jolteon(M) Species: Jolteon(male) nature: Brave( +Atk., -Spd ) Nickname: Fudo Ability: Volt Absorb(restores HP if hit by an Electric-type move) Moves: Thunderbolt, Shadow Ball, Double Kick, Discharge Other: orig. obtained from Bill in Ecruteak City. has a habit of running around in circles, chasing whatever tail he has. Galvantula(F) Species: Galvantula(female) nature: Bashful( +?, -? ) Nickname: Samus Ability: Compoundeyes(this pokemon's acc. is boosted) Moves: Thunder, Hidden Power(Water), Bug Buzz, Energy Ball Other: caught in Safari Zone(as a Joltik). seems to attach herself to Reno whenever she's out. Electrode(shiny) Species: Electrode('male') nature: Gentle( +Sp.Def., -Def. ) Nickname: Zap-Zap Ability: Static(contact with this pokemon may cause paralysis) Moves: Thunderbolt, Explosion, Hidden Power(Ice), Electro Ball Other: after returning from the Safari Zone, Reno found Zap-Zap leading a group of wild Electric-types, in an effort to help repair the damages to his Gym's Tesla coil maze. became fast friends with Surge. like Distortion, Sparx, and Twitch before him, Reno refers to Zap-Zap as a male. evolved not long after Ishiko - Reno's (former)Gym understudy - visited the Mahogany Gym. Appearance: no more evil dreads~ D:
Other: Vincent is usually seen out with Reno. The two are inseparable. And they both have a fondness for spicy foods. Reno is also excellent at close-quarters combat, having trained under the military phenom of Vermillion Gym, Lt. Surge. his name is pronounced 'Ren-noe'. During his travels throughout the Sinnoh region, Reno picked up a seemingly-natural talent for photography; occasionally, he is willing to take pictures of events for people, if they so request it. Seems to have romantic feelings towards the League Champion, Emily Milliardo. Ever since he started on his pokemon journey, Reno has had a pair of military-grade tasers(a gift from Lt. Surge, along with Vincent). If you ever piss him off, you'll know why they're military-grade.
