Character Name: Allison ’Ally’ S. Mirrera

Age: 25

History: Ally grew up in Saffron City with her aunt, Gym Leader(at the time)Sabrina, and her two loving parents. A few months before she turned eight, Ally was pleasantly surprised; her parents took her to Johto's New Bark Town, where she received her starter pokemon - a rather powerful little male Mudkip, which has since become a Swampert that shouldn't be underestimated(Landors).

It was when she got back to Saffron with her parents(via Magnet Train) that something happened that would eventually define her life. It was night-time when they arrived back in Saffron City. Ally had run on ahead to the Saffron Gym, intending to show off her new starter pokemon to 'aunt Sabi(as she called Sabrina)'. When she reached the Gym, she looked over her shoulder, wondering why her parents hadn't caught up with her yet. Her eyes grew wide as she realized why - her father was trying to wake her mother up, but to no avail. Sadly, her mother was killed by a tattered, shadowy-looking creature, which she later learned was Darkrai.

This moment alone made Ally decide what she would do in her career as a Trainer. She would become one of Johto's Frontier Brains, determined to prove(mostly to herself) that she wasn't going to let a tragedy like losing her mother define what she'd become.

Of course to become a Brain, one would need pokemon. So Ally stuck with earning the Kanto badges first, slowly gathering pokemon as she did. Her first pokemon would become one of the small handful known as 'pseudo-legends' - a social little male Dratini, who would eventually become a Dragonite(Xander). Upon meeting a (strangely)nice man named Bill, she received a female Eevee, which she chose to evolve into an Umbreon(Robbi).

With those three pokemon alone, Ally managed to defeat Kanto's Elite Four. But she wasn't done yet. Her next destination? Oddly enough, Kanto's Pallet Town, where she received a second starter from Prof. Oak - a male Turtwig, which has since become a Torterra(Levi). Ally decided to traverse the Johto region next, where she gained a poweful ally or two. The first pokemon she caught in Johto was a male Larvitar, which has kept his 'child-like' demeanor even after becoming a Tyranitar(Yusei). She also caught a female Bagon, which to this day(as a Salamence) has remained fiercely loyal to her(Anastacia).

Now what else was there to do in Johto? Challenge their Elite Four, of course. And Ally did so, with a seemingly playful approach. One of the Elites(her idol, and Dark-type master, Karen) saw the joyful way she approached battling, and suggested that she become Johto's Arcade Star in the newly-built Battle Frontier west of Olivine City. Ally quickly agreed - she had set out to become a Brain in the first place, and what better place to 'forget' about how she lost her mother than in an Arcade, right? Right.

After defeating Johto's Elite Four, Ally ventured to the Battle Frontier, per Karen's suggestion. After a demonstration of her battling style, she was immediately granted the position of Arcade Star - after defeating the former Star, Dahlia. Needless to say, Dahlia was more than happy to leave the Arcade in Ally's capable hands.

To this day, Ally has maintained the upbeat attitude given off by (now)her Arcade. From time to time, she can't help but think of her mother, but she knows that she'd be proud of what her little girl had done.

After the fierce trials of Goldenrod City, two more pokemon came into Ally's ownership: a male Infernape(Crow) and a male Hydreigon(Ghido). Ghido and Crow have both evolved from their basic stages. Due to the actions of a certain green onion imp, Ally was granted the opportunity to change her past. Two things came from her excursion into 1994 Saffron City - she was reunited with her father(famed field researcher Samuel Mirrera), and - on a more personal note - she gained a significant other, in the form of Castle Brain Calvin McCloud, who seems to be very serious about their relationship. So serious, in fact, that he's even started talking to her father about his blessing, unbeknownst to her . . .

A long-overdue team addition came to Ally in the form of a female Feebas(Emmie); Ally evolved Emmie into Milotic after her date with Calvin. Not long after evolving Emmie, Ally paid a visit to the Safari Zone, where she added a new Ground-type to her roster - a male Drilbur(Lagann), who seems to like playing games. Not long after capturing Lagann, Ally entered herself in Goldenrod City's annual water race - while she didn't win top prize(she placed 3rd, along with 'self-appointed brother' Jackson), she did come away with a Sneasel Egg; said Egg hatched while she was exploring the Battle Castle, into a shiny female(Sydney, or Syd). Upon further exploration of the Castle, Lagann and Sydney both evolved, into Excadrill and (a shiny)Weavile respectively.

Not long after her (guided)tour of the Castle, Calvin took Ally on their second date - this was to a secluded island paradise known as Denizen House, which had been in his family for hundreds of years. Not only did she meet Calvin's mother - who seemingly fell in love with her -, Ally also managed to catch her shiny Pidgeot(Amelia, as a Pidgey). Robbi, meanwhile, was spending quite a bit of time with Templar(Calvin's Mightyena). Why was Robbi spending time with Templar? Ally(and Calvin) found out not long after they returned from Denizen House; the Umbreon gave birth to a litter of fifteen Eevee and Poochyena pups, one of which seemed to bond rather quickly to Ally(Mira).

Not long after Robbi and Templar had their litter of adorable little fluff-balls, Calvin threw a masquerade ball at the Battle Castle - which, ironically, started on Ally's birthday. That, however, wasn't what the blonde Brain's plan was; in front of a veritable who's who of famous people in Johto, Calvin got down on one knee and proposed to Ally, presenting her with a brilliant emerald ring. Not really able to hold back her surprise - at...all, actually -, Ally said 'Yes.', giving the ball attendees a rather romantic little scene as she and Calvin kissed.

Hometown: Saffron City, Kanto region

Position: Frontier Brain, Battle Arcade

Personality: Ally’s known for being relatively easy to get along with. Despite her small stature(she stands at a mere 5'10"), she can be quite the fighter when she wants to be; she learned how to fight from her father, famed field researcher Samuel Mirrera. Also - like her father -, she has a love of adventure. Ally's got a bit of a romantic side, which she(so far) has only shown to one person...and he knows who he is.

Character Name: Devyn F. Monroe

Age: 25

History: Even at a young age, Devyn has always been fond of Water-type pokemon. His first one? A male Totodile, which has since become a Feraligatr(Zidler). With his starter in hand, Devyn set off across Kanto to catch and build up his ‘beloved’ Water-type pokemon. Along his journey, he caught a pair of Magikarp(male and female), which he evolved into Gyarados(Tristan)(Laila), along with a male Slowpoke, which(via trading while holding a King's Rock) became a Slowking(Pants). With this 'fearsome foursome', Devyn took on the Kanto League challenge, defeating all eight Kanto gyms with relative ease.

Eventually, he made his way to the Indigo Plateau, defeating Kanto's Elite Four - at the time, they were Lorelei, Bruno, Agatha, and Lance. It was then that he decided what kind of trainer he would become. He would become a member of the Elite Four, following in the footsteps of his father(Hoenn League Champion, Nathan Monroe).

His 'destiny' decided, Devyn strayed into Johto next. His first stop? Prof. Elm's lab in New Bark Town, where he received a second Water-type starter - a male Piplup, which has since become an Empoleon(Myde). A new member on his team, Devyn decided to take the Johto Gym challenge - they were a bit more difficult to navigate(compared to Kanto's Gyms), but he managed to make his way through, coming across another Water starter - a male Marshtomp who was(and still is) reluctant to evolve(Rainen). Before the last stop on his journey, Devyn received word that his parents had divorced, due to both having different ideas of how to raise their (only)son. At first, he wasn't too fond of the idea of going back-and-forth between his parents' homes, but after a while, he got used to the idea. That being said...

The Johto Gyms behind him, Devyn had one last stop to make on his journey - Jotho's Elite Four. At the time he challenged them, they were Will, Koga, Bruno, and Karen(Lance had been promoted to Champion). Recognizing his skill from Kanto, Lance offered Devyn a position he couldn't refuse - the first spot on Johto's new Elite Four(on the condition that he challenged Will for the spot). Devyn eagerly agreed, and after a long-fraught battle, Devyn had realized his dream.

He was an Elite Four member, giving Johto the Water-type Elite he thought it deserved.

To this day, Devyn has upheld his position with a sort-of laid-back honor(he was never one for fame and glory). His next Water-type came from his 'brother', Jackson Vakarian of Goldenrod Gym - an Egg which hatched into a female Squirtle(which evolved fully into Blastoise)(Riot). Being the care-free individual he is, Devyn's always kept his gray-green eyes focused on what lies ahead for him. During a journey to the Whirl Islands, he managed to catch - of all things - a shiny male Seadra(Sebas, who is now a Kingdra).

During a training session on Mt. Silver - and after battling the legendary Trainer, Red - DI, Unova-native, and Devyn's friend Alistair dropped in on a training session. Alistair's intention? To give Devyn a Unova-native Water-type pokemon - a laid-back Panpour(Lennon), who seems to have a fondness for classic rock music; Lennon evolved into a Simipour after finding a Water Stone in one of Devyn's coat pockets.

A trip to the Safari Zone granted Devyn two more pokemon: his Gigalith(orig. caught as Roggenrola)(Coheed), and his Ludicolo(orig. caught as Lotad)(Frey). On his birthday, he was tracked down by Bill, who gave him his Vaporeon(as an Eevee)(Nathan). After a visit to the Battle Frontier, Devyn decided that Tristan(the male of his two Gyarados) would be better off with another Trainer, and sent the (male)Atrocious Pokemon to Trainer Roz Cherrywood. Not long after that, Devyn - along with fellow Elite Four member, (Ice-typer)Shiori Ralston - ventured into New Bark Town, where he met a female Snivy(Lola, now a Servine) from Prof. Elm.

Then came the 'fun' in the southern region of Hoenn. Just before they went after the bad guys, Nathan - Devyn's father - gave the blonde Elite a male Gible(Hector), who was 'cleverly' hidden beneath a rather large pirate hat.

Home Town: Cerulean City, Kanto region

Position: Elite Four member, No.1

Personality: Most people that know Devyn would describe him as 'laid-back' and 'friendly'. He seems to be in a permanent one-up contest with his friend and 'brother', Jackson of Goldenrod Gym.

Nickname: Myde
Ability: Torrent(powers up Water-type moves in a pinch)
Moves: Hydro Cannon, Grass Knot, Ice Beam, Surf

Nickname: Sebas
Ability: Swift Swim(this pokemon's Spd is doubled in Rain weather)
Moves: Dragon Dance, Hydro Pump, Waterfall, Outrage

Character Name: Liam Hikari
Age: 24

History: Well, I was raised on the quaint island town that is Cianwood, but I soon caught a boat over to Olivine City when I was old enough to start training Pokemon. Once I got there I caught my very first Pokemon, a Hoppip, which has since evolved into a Jumpluff, and soon after that I found myself with a team of six. I spent over a year changing what Pokemon I used, experimenting until I found the perfect combination for my style of fighting. Eventually I landed with my current team, and have been training them since.
A little while ago, I took the challenge to become a Fronteir Brain, and passed, making the Factory my home. While my opponents in the Factory have to use different Pokemon, I always stick with my team of six, leaving it to a random generator to cut my team down to three. I'm confident in battle, but... well... you'll see...

Home Town: Cianwood Town

Position: Battle Factory Brain

Personality: I'm pretty damn cocky. I hardly ever lose, and I know it. I'll show it in battle, too. I won't be happy if you break my winning streak, but I'll get by. Get to know me and I'm not a bad guy, just far too confident for my own good.

But again. There's more to me than meets the eye, as you'll soon see...

History: Khan was inspired to become a pokemon trainer when he heard that a trainer defeat Team Rocket when they tried to take the Radio Tower. From that day on he was determined to become the best trainer in existence. That dream came true the day he received his first pokemon, an Eevee, from Bill, a Goldenrod City Local and creator the PC system. Khan trained with Whitney till he believed he was strong enough and set out to beat the pokemon league and every single gym. At first, he was considered to be a rising star in the world of competitive pokemon for he had beaten every single gym leader within a matter of months. Pyrce and Morty both said that he was a force to be reckoned with. Though strangely enough, the young star disappeared from the world of pokemon after his first loss against the Elite Four when he was 16. Six years later, he appeared in the Battle Frontier, beating out Argenta for the position of Battle Hall Brain. He served as the Battle Hall Matron for several years before being promoted to Battle Tower Brain. He's been at the battle frontier for nearly half of his life. He holds the status as the longest lasting Tower Tycoon.

Home Town: Goldenrod City

Personality: Khan holds most people at a distance, and shows compassion to his pokemon only when he knows no one is watching. He doesn't like to show too many emotions. He is usually reserved, quiet, and occasionally witty. The Tower Tycoon stands out from the rest of the crowd of trainers due to his uncanny knack for noticing things. He's very perceptive, which allows him to predict moves relatively accurately. It's his "unique trait" so to speak. It's also what makes him overconfident about other people due to the fact that he "reads" them so well. However, he tends to over analyze situations because of this. This can be used to your advantage if you choose to challenge him.

Khan's hiatus (the 6 years in which no one knew anything about him) was caused by a short period of time where he was part of the Acquisitions team of Snagum. He was forcefully recruited when Loki was turn into a Shadow pokemon. While he was at Snagum, Khan became acquainted with the Master Thief LeMarc. The two worked together for several years, becoming one of the best pairs in Snagum history. After Snagum collapsed, Khan was able to return Loki to his original form. Since then, Khan and LeMarc only worked together in one last big heist: Breaking into the Team Rocket Mr. Silver Headquarters. LeMarc died during the heist.

Other: Khan was considered a prodigy in the creation of combo moves. It is advised to be very careful when fighting him for he likes to invent new tactics on the fly. He's been determined to beat the Elite Four and all the Kanto Gyms (He holds all the Johto Badges from his younger years). He is often found playing with yo-yos in his free time. While he is an avid yo-yo user, perceptive detective, and pokemon trainer, Khan tends to dabble in drugs and alcohol. However, he has his reasons.

Khan specializes in the use of physical attacking pokemon . However that doesn't mean his special attackers are anything to glance over. Be careful if you're going to take him on. He's not big on "losing".

Khan's a softie on the inside. He refuses to admit it or show it, but deep down inside he cares and loves his pokemon among a few other things. He's determined to protect them at all costs.

Pokemon Team:
Added note: The nature have no effect on the stats in this case, they're there to help characterize each pokemon. Khan trained them in a manner that raised whatever stats he deemed were important (the raised and lowered stats are shown in the summary of each pokemon)

Loki is Khan's first pokemon and is his favorite, though he won't admit it. Loki is special in the sense that he is shiny. Khan is quite protective of Loki, and often uses Loki to test his opponents instead of fighting them directly [with Loki]. Loki, despite being Khan's favorite, is most likely the weakest member of his team offensively. Khan has given Loki leftover to hold, allowing his main tank to endure vicious onslaughts, even from the strongest pokemon. Loki is mute.

At first Kelley was a Dragonite that Khan never used, until Khan discovered that Kelley was actually a Mew in disguise. The two could probably be separated, but Mew refuses to leave Khan. User ImagePosition: Pokemon League Champion

History: Emily grew up fatherless in Celadon with her mother. Her mother told her that her father had died saving people, but in her later years, Emily came to know her father was not the hero her mother described, but instead as LeMarc, famed thief of fortunes.User Image On her 10th birthday she received two pokemon, a Mudkip and a Turtwig, from an estranged uncle. For the next four years of her life, Emily received a single pokemon on each of her birthdays. For the next two years after that she traded letters with her uncle, seeing as he was the closest thing to a father figure. On her sixteenth birthday, her mother passed away from Huntington's. Emily has never tested herself to see whether or not she received the disease from her mother.

At her mother's funeral, Emily tried to find her estranged uncle, but she never found him there. Soon after the funeral Emily sent a letter to her uncle asking him why he never attended her mother's funeral. Emily never got a reply. Soon after her mother's death, Emily started to train her pokemon. Within a few months she took up the pokemon gym challenge and had collected all of the Kanto Badges. Vowing to become the opposite of her father, the master thief, Emily trained incredibly hard and challenged the Elite 4 and solidified her position as champion. She's held that position since. Emily has recently discovered that her dead father, LeMarc, has left her a massive fortune. She's also come to terms that it is possible her father wasn't as bad as she thought he was, and that he was also, in fact, the mysterious uncle that gave her everything that she has today. Recently, Emily has started informing for Scotland Yard and Interpol.

Home Town: Celadon City

Personality: Emily is a headstrong girl. Somewhat of a tomboy, she loves to toy with airplanes, cars, motorcycles, you name it, she's tinkered with it. Though, she did inherit her father's intellect and knack for the extreme. She can be a bit of a perfectionist. Emily is quite reserved around people, never revealing more than she has to. It isn't that she doesn't trust people. She just doesn't like to engage in small talk with strangers.

Other: Emily may have Huntington's. She's never tested herself to see if she does. Due to her perfectionist nature she's hunted down pokemon that have 31 IVs in certain stats and 30s in others. Emily is still an active member of Interpol, where she was tasked with capturing her father. She's considered an expert in the fields of counter-intelligence and espionage. Emily has a strange obession with rap and techno music.

Pokemon Team:
Added note: Emily's pokemon's natures have no effect on her pokemon's stats. The effected states are stated in the summaries.

xxxxxxxxxBrandon Copelandxxxxxxxxx

"I'm not insane. . .I don't think I am anyway. . ."

Age: 20

History: Raised within Viridian City, Brandon had a nice, quiet life. He spent many a year just, well, chilling out. He was one of the smarter kids in school, and even held a pen pal in a different region. Somewhere around his 8th year of school, he had been recommended to be a Gym Leader. The closest inspiration he could find was a man who called himself G. He never told the apprentice his real name, but it didn't bother Brandon. All that had got him was that G had told him he was going to grant him power.

After several years of training, G had mysteriously disappeared. He hadn't told anyone where he went, not even Brandon. This forced Brandon to go out on his own. He spent months training the Ground-type that was introduced to him from G. This was until he had met a man named Steven. Even though Brandon held an advantage, Steven had just tossed his Pokemon aside in a battle. The power of Steel had intrigued him, so he decided to stop his Ground training and go through with the metal chaos. Steven started his training by giving him a Pokemon. Nodding, Brandon thanked his former pen pal, and started off on building his Beldum, Arach's, strength.

Brandon traveled to Hoenn, hearing that a nice supply of Steel types were held there. From there, the traveled East of Fallarbor, catching a vital member of his starting team. He taught Aeronautic how to Fly, just before he moved to Dewford. Within the Granite Cave, he met his next Pokemon, which became the backbone of his team. Ringo took time training, but was worth it when he became a Lairon. During their training, Brandon had caught Compass and Sparticus.

Somewhere along the way, Brandon met a Scientist. He was attempting to create the first cyborg Pokemon. A robot with a capabilities of a Pokemon. Full use of moves, getting stronger, even evolving. Unfortunately, George, or G30-RG3, was a failure. Too much Pokemon part to it, thus leading it to experience heightened feeling and pain from it's more metallic parts. Brandon took the experiment to show the Scientist that he could still be useful, even though he felt more pain than a normal Pokemon. After that meeting, Brandon held a full team, thus he decided to head off to Sinnoh.

There in Sinnoh, he learned that if you train a Nosepass or a Magneton in Mount Coronet, they would evolve into stronger versions. This brought his Probopass and his Magnezone into play, even snagging Grim and Scylla on his visit. After such, Brandon couldn't seem to find another good Steel type. He knew there had to be more, so he started to do some research. He found several Pokemon that he never would've guessed held a Steel typing after evolution.

He spent hours upon hours lathering trees with Honey in an attempt to find a Pineco, before finally succeeding and catching a the small Bagworm Pokemon. Upon his searches for others, he came across a Trainer searching for a Munchlax. When he was looking for Paul, he came across and caught a Munchlax. Taking advantage of this, he traded it for a Scyther, which immediately evolved into a Scizor named John. A bit later, he came across the Pokemon Steelix, and through a quick trade and trade-back, he obtained his own.

At his current point, he held 10 Steel typed Pokemon. Forretress, Aggron, Magnezone, Probopass, Metagross, Skarmory, Mawile, Scizor, Bronzong, and Steelix. With two spots left, he needed to find a pair of good Pokemon that could round off his team. While reading, he found Empoleon, the Water/Steel type starter of the Sinnoh region. It was unfortunate, although. Since he wasn't from Sinnoh, he couldn't get the Piplup he needed. Although, he managed to find someone who would get him the Piplup while he searched for his final Pokemon. Agreeing, they parted ways and the man said he would be in Canalave when he was done.

While the man worked, Brandon did extensive researching, finding a defensive ancient Pokemon. Through a bit more research, he found someone who could revitalize fossils. He spent a couple of months digging within the mines of Oreburgh, eventually finding and revitalizing his Shieldon, Blockage, which soon evolved into Bastiodon. With this done, he headed off to Canalave to claim his Piplup. He met up with the man, and once the exchange was done, he ran off like the wind. Brandon's confusion was lifted when he was chased down by the cops. He took refuge in Johto for the time, becoming the second spot of the Elite Four to hide from the Sinnoh police. He changed his look, dyed his hair, and picked up a small accent. He was hoping to keep from being caught until he died, well, if he was lucky.

Home Town: Viridian City

Position: Elite Four. Spot 2.

Personality: Brandon is gullible. Extremely gullible. He can be taken advantage of quite easily due to this, and often ends up on the wrong side of a conversation. Dispite this, he is quite knowledgeable in battle and can put up a heavy, long fight. The one thing to remember is that he doesn't exactly take guilt well and, unlike his Steel-type choice, will crack under pressure quite quickly due to being chased by the cops. He is also quite paranoid due to that. When he does end up cracking, beware, because he occasionally goes insane from it.
