Rules:
Follow Gaia TOS and the Guild's rules, as well as that of the RP
Applications must follow the guidelines posted later AND must be PM-ed to me to be accepted for RP
Only after I have PM-ed you back saying that you're accepted can you start posting, the first post being your profile if you wish
RP-ers are allowed up to five people they can RP if they wish, as long as they keep the personas separate and distinct
A post less than three sentences is not accepted. This is a more literate RP, meaning that most posts are preferred to be made in paragraphs; even if one is responding to a question or comment it is best that one make some sort of thought or action to accompany the response. This RP is not just for fun, it's also to help us grow as writers.
Keep to the storyline. If you have something you want to add to the storyline that you think will make it more enticing, or say another race that emerges, PM me first so I know what's going on and I will inform the rest.
No God-modding, and no making your character invincible or untouchable, or anything like that. It's annoying and won't be tolerated. If you're accepted as being a "king," one of the strongest of the race, then some powerful stuff is to be expected but don't make it disgustingly obvious.
Stick to the classic rules of RP please. I mean, don't be posting things like, *Cleo takes a dagger and shoves it in Balthazar's chest, killing him instantly via a rib ricocheting off into his heart.* The correct sentence here would be, *Cleo removes a hidden dagger from his cloak and lunges at Balthazar, seeking to plunge the sharp point into his enemy's heart and therefore end his life.* Allow your partner in RP to respond how he/she wishes; don't post for them.
Swearing and romance are allowed, although the latter is only if the other part is consentual. However, don't overuse swearing; most don't like to read it. If your persona is a swearer than fine, but if you're dropping the f-bomb every sentence, that needs to stop.
Smoking is allowed, again if your persona is a natural smoker. However, I don't want to read about someone shooting up or shooting up someone else; let's keep the drugs to a minimum. Besides, the characters in this RP won't be affected by them anyway.
Name your Application PM Ryuu means Dragon to signify that you did, in fact, read the rules.
Other than that, keep to these rules and make sure you try to at least READ the posts everyday then everything will go smoothly! Besides, these rules aren't that different from other peoples' so you shouldn't have a problem.

Storyline:The Ryuu (dragon) are a people who have ruled the Earth since the beginning of time. There are the kings, the strongest of the dragon who rule over the race, a total of four scattered about the world. The singers, who heal the earth and soothe the souls with their melodies. The healers, who keep the race alive and help deliver the infants. And lastly, the infants themselves, who are loved above all else by their elders and age according to their maturity. An infant might mature within years of its birth if it's brought up right, or an infant might take centuries to mature into an adult. It depends solely on their environment and mindset. In recent times, life for the Ryuu have been hard. Originally, they were a matriarchal society, with females the rulers because so many had been born for so long. However, lately the females are less and less, and even infants are born with greater intervals in time between them. The last infant to be born was well over five centuries ago, already well into maturity and a male at that. The Ryuu kings are debating war, especially since finding out that there might be some mysterious creatures trying to make the Ryuu lands their home. Will war break out? Will anyone find out what is causing this magnificent race to die out?

Among the Ryuu, any above 7,000 years are considered elders and any above 11,000 are the ancients, revered beyond all others.
Looks: *hair, clothing, eyes for human form, and scales and distinguishable markings for other form*
Pictures: Of both the human form and the dragon form, preferably the human be some type of anime pic but it's not required. I have a large stash of pics if anyone needs one.
Class: *Healer, King, Singer, Infant, Other (tell me what; it can be some type of job)* Tell me what you want to be and WHY.
Bio: It doesn't have to be short, it doesn't have to be long. Anthing you want to share about your character you may write here; however please don't just say "Will find out eventually." At least write a little; chances are, none of us will ever find out.

Any special telepathic your character might possess, a form of magic acquired after studying old runes for many centuries.

Character's Race: Ryuu
Age: Human years--looks about 27.
In actuality is 5,488.
Looks: As a human he has navy coloured wavy, wool-like hair with bangs that cut into his eyes. His eyes are violet with eliptical pupils, the same as in his ryuu form. He wears a wispy, very light green robe most of the time that is just light enough he can easily dispense with it to shift into his natural form. He likes to traverse barefoot among the grassy hills.

Class: King.
Bio: He inherited his position just shy of 1,000 years and continues to rule with a firm hand. He is the oldest among the four Ryuu, for most retire and find a subsitute after they reach 4,500 years of age. He always has a small Ryuu with him, an infant who has yet to reach maturity. He dislikes dealing with politics but will suffer it for the sake of his people, whom he cares about more than his own life. Sometimes, many of his subjects think he would sacrifice his own life just to keep their race from extinction. At the moment he's debating calling on outside help to fix the problemt with the race's decline.
Allignment: Formally against but has slowly been leaning towards allowing others who offer no hostility.
Telepathic Power: Empathy and a mix of precognition and premonition.

Class: Infant
Age: Is actually only a few centuries away from 3,000 years old but for some reason has never been pushed close to the edge to mature into an adult.
Looks: As a human she has lavender coloured hair, mostly kept short like a pixie with a few willowy curls that curl into her face. Her eyes are periwinkle with shades of gold, slitted pupils more suited to a snake than a dragon. She likes to dress in doll-like garments, old victorian children's dresses with many layers and bows and tying her hair up in ribbons. As a dragon she is only a little larger than the average RV, retaining the shade of her hair as the shimmering scales covering her body. Her tail ends in short spikes.

Bio: She was born, the first Ryuu in many centuries after the last male, and wound up being cared for Dorian because she couldn't be alone for even one second of the day without scaring the Ryuu into attack mode with her wails. For the last 2,700 years they have been together all the time, whether it involves eating, sleeping, or bathing. Her calming influence (after the disaster of the first few weeks) have actually helped him through many a debate, although experts continue seeking to understand why her body doesn't mature although her mind has already reached that point. She enjoys going to parties to watch the way the Ryuu of one tribe will interact with her own.
Allignment: She's open to any ideas although if they involve harm to either Dorian or herself she will react quite viciously.
Telepathic powers: Telepathy and the ability to perceive past and future events when touching objects/people. It's assumed she developed the power through such close prolonged contact with the king.
