Hello all. I just joined. I wanted to know whether you think the original DS (or japanese GBA) or the WiiWare versions of Phoenix Wright Ace Attorney and the Phoenix Wright Ace Attorney Justice For All is better.
DS benefits: * Microphone adds to interactivity. * Optimal resolution for game.
WiiWare * starting price is about $10 * using the Wiiremote to activate Objections and Press witnesses. * larger screen size.
FYI I bought Justice for all for the DS and the original Phx Wright on Wiiware.

Honestly, I believe the DS versions are better, mainly for the dual screen actions. The WiiWare versions don't seem that bad, though. But, technically, the WiiWare ones are just the GBA versions with new controls. Although, the 'swing forward' Objection! action is pretty awesome.

I prefer the DS versions; I like the portable nature of the DS and feel like Phoenix Wright lends itself well to that on and off game play. It's like a book on the train; you can close it up and re-open later. heart

I have both. Just so I can play Ace Attorney on the big screen.

I like the DS because you can yell into it to get Objection and stuff...But I do like the idea of swinging your arm for it. ^^

Thanks for your responses. I agree with the DS being a better console for Ace Attorney.
I wish the Wii had a mic built into the remote so you can "Object." The Wii has so much potential though. If they decided to make an actual game and not just a WiiWare port, they could use the remote's speaker for your assistant's voice or to act as a phone in the game.

I think DS, cause at home, I scream into the Mic, and it annoys my sister xd
I've never tried the Wii one, so I don't know which is better.

Pointing out contradictions in photos along with lack of portability and improved music make me say the DS version was better.

I have all three Phoenix Wright games for the DS, but I forgot to get the Apollo Justice and Miles Edgeworth games because it kinda slipped my mind. sweatdrop That, and I kind of spend my money a lot. But I do like the DS version, that way, I can "TAKE THAT!" anywhere I want.

I like the DS versions, but the Wii version sounds cool.

I liked both versions. Of course, the Wii version is lower quality but the objection hand motion thing was awesome. The DS is practically proprietaire of my brother so I guess that is why I tend to deviate more to the Wii version... xp But yelling into the mic with the DS version is great, too...especially with the reactions you get in public. rofl

It's cheap on the ipod/phone, if people think that counts as a plus.
