I think there doing a great job with the storyline of the series. Don't forget as the series moves on the characters get older.

Ouran High School Host Club. Escaflowne is also amazing, along with Mushi-Shi.

well, im more for reading the manga then watching anime (sometimes) and my fave manga would be hana kimi. then elfen lied.

My favorites at the moment are Baccano! and Detective Conan (unfortunately Case Closed in English). I usually don't like super long series, but Detective Conan has a lot of stand alone episodes, so you can watch at any point as long as you've seen the few major episodes.
I also like some magical girl anime (Tokyo Mew Mew and Shugo Chara) and only one shonen at the moment (Fullmetal Alchemist). I'm sure there are others, but I can't remember them right now.
I watch mostly subs with a few dubs here and there. What about you guys?

I'll be honest and say that I haven't watched a lot of anime but the animes I would like to watch are:
Fate Stay Night
Naruto/Naruto Shippuden (what's the difference?)
Suikoden (probably not possible)
But the animes I have watched are ATLA (duh) and Bakugan (is it considered anime?)

Bakugan (has considered an Anime with those huge eyes) is my TV Anime favourite (along with ATLA of course [I love it's plots!]). But an Anime I haven't seen that is a favourite is Suikoden Tierkries.
