I've been seeing alot of very sudden and very late topics regarding the future of this guild, whether or not there's still work to be done, and so forth.

Look, all of these things mean nothing.

I hate to say it, but the last time we asked this question, everyone said more should be done.

So I broke out of my retirement from the guild and started contests for $10USD in Cash Shop items. What I thought was a really NICE prize.

Then it's like this place died again. The same people who kept saying more could be done were not to be seen again.

I've done what little I could. One could even argue that I've done quite a bit more than my fair share.

But 3 or 4 of us can't be the only ones.

If there's more s**t to do... do it. Share your ideas.
Contribute. Or simply stop posting here. One or the other.

I'll pen one more contest. A big one. Netting the winner $20USD in Cash Shop goodies. But that contest will test the winner's dedication to this, our holy cause.

But seriously... if I only get like... 3 entrants out of the tens who said more work needs to be done... I'm going to start a company to make screwed up offers for Gaia myself.

Kidding, of course, but man... something needs to give.

Well, I could make excuses, but I won't bother, I'm back now. Better late than never? *nervous laugh* ^^;;

I have to agree with xena91388, really. Perhaps it's time for a guild revamp? I heard a rumor from one of my friends, it may or may not be true, but apparently she quit Gaia because the ads were planting viruses/malware on her computer. Now, I use Firefox with an ad blocker so I couldn't confirm this information. And I don't dare try to test it myself. This laptop's been to hell and back as it is.

Not to mention Gaia is still essentially whoring itself out to recruit new members and make more money. Maybe we should stop focusing on the offers and start focusing on Gaia's changes as a whole. I know we can't change much, but I like having a place to at least discuss site changes, if not vent my frustration about them.

And, yeah, I'm back, hopefully for a while. *apologybow* I already feel bad enough about disappearing for a while there, so go easy on me, please.

Why does this guild "need" to be about changes? Sure everyone seems over their heads b*tthurt regarding just about everything and then some - be it justified or not - but there is already plenty of guild for whining and complaints.

The reason I joined this guild was because it had a clear goal, a reasonable reason for existence, and a crew that seemed adult and serious.

Your average whining guild will not have any goal, reason or maturity at all - all they want is to b***h their hearts out and yell to the sky "OmaiGAWD gaia is leik, SO unfair on meh!". Which does absolutely nothing for me.
If this turns into another full-time b***h guild, I'm out. Permanently.
