They keep changing it up because the number of users is dropping rapidly. Too many people are being banned, have gotten bored, or some other reason for quitting. They're desperate and changing layouts is all they can think of. I haven't been on in a few months because i grew bored of this place. I finally came back and then 2 weeks later they change it all up. It's extremely frustrating.
All you people coming on here complaining about these forums:
If you think this is such a waste of time, why are you even replying? This is for the people who don't like the change and are ticked off that they have to deal with this. It may just be one page layout, but it's a large irritation to most people. If you don't agree with us, that's fine. But don't try to bring us down with your negativity about our protest.
Ideas:
One girl suggested that they have a setting in the account settings area. Where we choose between layouts. Because there ARE people who like the new changes. Believe it or not. I for one, think that idea is really quite genius. Not only should we protest, we should suggest to Gaia some ideas like these so that maybe they will use them.

I think it's just because some of us are older users and are much more used to the other set up. I came back from '06 and, with every update, see they are attempting to try and make things easier for the new users. They're preventing them from having to have the frustrations of figuring the whole thing out without much help.
I believe they're really only thinking about them. We, who have been on here for much longer than a year, have had to adapt to however many layouts they toss at us. The other ones weren't very bad, some I liked. I haven't disliked one more than this one. It's crap. Honestly, I might take one of those year long breaks I've taken before.
