For a long time, people have been saying that Harry Potter is steering the young minds' into satanism. What is your opinion on this?

It could be true for some, it could be false for others. The some could be the more impressional minds that require others to form their beliefs. The false for others would be the ones who are already firm in their belief, hopefully of God and Jesus.
We should pray for things like this, and hope that Harry Potter does not turn people away from God.

Harry Potter is of the devil lots of info there. a Christian has to be in denial if they cant see the blatant satanic witchcraft that is promoted and taught in the Harry Potter series. I feel that the Harry Potter stuff is no good! The Bible says "suffer not a witch." The H.P. movies and books promote witchcraft. I realize they're fiction but young minds are very vulnerable.

while I agree that it is steering young minds away from God or the cause of a doubt......
Harry Potter IS WEAK!!!!!!! demons are stronger then witch craft and half the time witches don't even know what they are doing
here's the thing if you stop a witches chant then you stop the spell it's that simple *rolls eyes*

Yeah there was sorcery and such, but the books where just terrible.. They started out alright, but as it got closer to the end, it really wasn't worth picking up.

I can't believe this. Questionable points? It's not like everyone's doing rituals around a pentagram and hailing Satan. It's just an imaginary book about wizards and magic, and the wizards who perform "black magic" i.e magic to harm others are considered villains.

Also, I believe in Wicca ideals, such as being good to nature, and not treating women like objects, but I'm not a Satanist.

As a Christian, I believe reading or watching the Harry Potter series can be harmful if taken out of context. I've read some of the books and was entertained. I'm not running around trying to believe in a magic world full witches and wizards, while losing grip on reality. Yes, some mids are more prone to fall into the trap of seeing Harry Potter as the real thing. And it is sad that parents won't step in and steer them towards the LORD. As with any piece of literature, we have to see Harry Potter, and now the latest craze of vampires, werewolves, and sorcerer's apprentices, as for what it is: FICTION. As believers, we know the truth. While people bash on Harry, what about all the other out-of-this-world books, and movies? Take it what it is intended to be: just entertainment. It is not reality.

Please Harry Potter has many biblical things in it. If it has anything to do with Satanism I sincerely doubt that J.K Rolling meant for that to happen. I personally adore the series and think it's one of the best series out there. People who think that its evil seriously need to stop being so hardcore.

I have no idea that its leading it to Satanism... (oh no! My cousin! she is not saved and now getting hooked at these stories!! gonk )
But...
Harry Potter series is supposed to give entertainment right? and not turn people to Satan... But, My Uncle told me something about Harry Potter. I CAN'T REMEMBER if the Bible Experts said these but, THEY SAY the spells are valid... even the spells of the villains... I mean, These things they do with the spells of the evil and good can be actually true spells! They do not happen when they say it but IT MIGHT HAPPEN IF THESE WORDS OF SPELL WAS SAID IN CORRECT INTONATION... OR PRONUNCIATION.
How true is this?? question question
