- Do not create new threads unless it is pre-approved by AD or Lang. In most cases, there is no need for a new thread. If you have an idea for the guild, PM Abandoned Dreams and she'll tell you whether or not you should create a new thread.
Don't spam. Spamming is posting with no real purpose or is not meant as conversation. This includes roleplaying. While we allow the occasional *action* usage, we don't condone posts solely for RPing. Please take that to the Chatterbox.
If you post art for flattery, please do so in moderation. Yes, we appreciate art. We appreciate your art. We just don't want to appreciate it every five minutes. If you're particularly proud of something, have a piece that pertains to the guild or have drawn a guild member, feel free to post it in the Hangout. Otherwise, keep it on your hard drive.
Do not argue. If you ask for critiques, you will get them. If you hear an opinion you don't like, do not pollute our guild with anger. If you have something you'd like to say, a well-worded, well-thought-out rant is perfectly acceptable. Swearing and insulting other members is NOT.
Acts of bigotry -- including racial, religious, or sexuality-related slurs -- will not be tolerated.
Talking about how much your art "sucks" is strictly prohibited.
Use proper grammar and spelling whenever possible.
This has become a huge issue as of late. I don't expect everyone to use perfect English, nor do I really encourage the use of semicolons (though I myself can't seem to stop using them). Lang and I simply ask that you make an honest attempt at using correct punctuation and spelling. If it's a sentence, start it with a capital letter and end it with a period, exclamation point or question mark. If it's a common English word, spell it correctly. LAZINESS IS NOT AN EXCUSE. You have a Preview button and, when needed, an Edit button. Use them.
"13375p34k" and other forms of blatant stupidity are not permitted. On occasion, we will use "sarcastic 1337," though this is merely our way of pointing out the stupidity of whatever it is we're saying. Unless you pronounce "hello" "aich three one one zero," don't you dare type it here.
