Like the title says, any news that's happening in the pokemon world will be posted up here.
We'll try out best to keep you guys informed and updated, but we're only human. So feel free to contribute yourselves, if you feel like there's something we've missed, or you feel that's important, don't hesitate keep the rest of us informed.

But I double-checked, they are running the event April 1-30. For anyone that hasn't gotten the Yellow Forest route, here are instructions on how to, straight from Nintendo themselves.
Blah, I still haven't gotten a special Pikachu though...

Kept an Arcanine on it for a while and got nothing... stuck the Spiky-eared Pichu on it and got three light balls and a flying Pikachu in one day. xd

The flying/Surfing Pikachus can be a pain to track down. It helps if you send in an electric type and also for them to even begin to appear you need to have 10,000 steps or more on your Pokewalker. But remember everyday the steps reset to 0 so start early and good luck to you.

Yeah its such a pain when you have 11,000 steps that day and you don't find one then it resets and you have to start all over again. Also another way to tell if its a flying/surfing pikachu, when it says find a pokemon you will have to click the bushes until you see !!! that means its a flying/surfing.

Yeah you won't even begin to see "!!!" unless you have at least 10,000 steps

Huh. I didn't know strolling with an electric type helps the chance of getting a Flying/Surfing Pikachu.
