Hiya! This may not be the right time right place, but I have recently visited some pretty great anime conventions in Ohio and I wanted to share some moments of the cons with the guild. And of course, I am sure many of you have been to anime conventions, feel free to share your experiences of your cons! X3 I have not yet started to cosplay due to lack of material to do so. I will soon thought once I study some more characters I really want to be. Making a good cosplay can be quite costly, and I don't want to be a cheap cosplayer either. No I won't be, Otakon is all the way in Maryland and I live in Ohio, the distance between the two is just too far for me to travel.

Yeah it's in Baltimore, MD...I live in Northern VA so it's just a trainride away...I want to know who might be able to go so I'm not the only member representing the guild...

Maybe, although I cant really see my parents driving an hour for me to go to an Anime convention...

all i know is... once i find a convention here, im dragging red XD, we dont live that far.. just an hour or two away, im guessing an hour and a half, also, i really wish i can eventually travel to ohio and participate in one with nina

Twilight Cat 137 not exactly a lot of conventions here in illinois I for one, used to live in Illinois an hour away from Chicago. Riding the train there was always fun X3. One of the biggest conventions in actually held in Illinois and that is Anime Central.

I'll be attendin' Otakon this year. I go every year for the past three years. I will be attendin' once more this year. I actually hang out with the Bleach Photoshooters.

I would go, if I had a place to stay at and enough money XD. I am by far a huge money waster and the Konata Izumi from Lucky Star cosplay I am working on has cost me well over 100 already and I am not even half done. -_-
I like to be a perfectionist with cosplays.
