In case some of you hadn't noticed, we have been making some changes around the Guild! We have been organizing threads into the appropriate Sub-Forums, cleaning up old and obsolete threads and trying to start new weekly and monthly events and discussions.
Sub-Forums
We currently have nine sub-forums that pretty much everything has been sorted into. Those sub-forums are:
- Moderator Zone -
*This is a new area for our captain and all of our Vice Captains and Crew to meet up and discuss topics amongst themselves about upcoming events and changes that they feel would benefit the guild.
- Chaxer Box Sub Forum -
*The Chaxer Box, or Chatter Box, sub-forum is exactly that. An area for random conversations, games, or anything else you want to discuss!
- Role Playing sub forum -
*This is the area for all Role Plays or discussions pertaining to them. We currently have 3 wonderful RPs going on and hope you'll all stop in and check them out!!
- Mini Shop -
* Have a Shop you want to advertise or want to start one for just guild members? This is a sub-forum for just that!! Or, if you are looking for a shop and want some suggestions, you can post about that too!
- Artwork Sub Forum -
* This is an area for all of the artists in the guild to mingle and share their work. Not an artist? That's ok. You can still stop by and check out everyone's work and comment on it. Or, if you have a favorite fairy artist (i.e.: Brian Froud, Selina Fenech, etc.), feel free to stop in and start a chat about them and maybe share some of your favorite pieces.
- Non-Fae Discussion -
*This is an area for any discussions that are not about fae and that don't fit in the chatter box. If you have real-world issues you'd like to discuss, bring them here.
- Pagan/Wicca/Astrology -
*Since we seem to have quite a few members interested in Paganism, Wicca, Tarot and other forms of Astrology, we though we'd start a sub-forum specifically for these topics. There are already several great discussions going on, so feel free to stop in and have your questions answered and voice heard!
- Creatures -
*This is for any and all creature-related discussion, including our new Weekly Creatures (see below).
- The Archives -
*This is where we will be storing old, dead threads that no longer get posted in or have been closed by the author. You can read anything that is posted in The Archives, but you can't post in them any longer. Threads will be moved here after 6+ months of inactivity or, if it's an event or contest, after it ends.
Weekly Creatures
Each week we will be discussing a new mythical creature, hosted by kagome_roker. Some will be good, some bad, and some will fall somewhere in-between. Each week, at the end of the week, a prize will also be given out to the person who submitted the best discussion entry (information and/or picture). After the discussion has ended, it will be moved to the Creatures sub-forum, where we hope to create an encyclopedia of creatures!!
Weekly Discussions
We will also be having a new discussion thread in the main forum each week. There will be a wide variety of mythical and fae-related topics for everyone to participate in.
Horoscopes
Want to know what this week holds in store for you? Swing by rainbow-reflections new Horoscope thread. Each week she will post new horoscopes and hold discussion to find out whether you think yours will or has come true!
Introductions and Birthdays
We also now have threads in the main forum for you to introduce yourselves (everyone old and new alike) and meet our new vice captains and crew, and also an area for you to share your birthday with us!!
