"Thank you, Charizard!" Mei Hua's cheery voice rang through the quiet, peaceful little town. She gave the statuesque dragon some specially formulated Pokemon food and watched as her father's pokemon turned back toward her hometown of Blackthorn City. While she disliked being a burden on her father and his pokemon, Mei Hua had always been unable to stomach transportation via boat.
"So this is it...Kanto..." Mei Hua stated breathlessly, her voice quiet and airy as if afraid to disrupt the peace of this little town. She took a moment to absorb the scent of all of the trees, the grass, and faint salty scent of the ocean. All around her she saw the vivid green flora, so different from her hometown in the mountains.
"Growlithe, Growl!" Agni broke her out of her reverie, biting into the fabric of the baggy black cargo pants Mei Hua had elected to wear under her qipao for warmth while flying and tugging her in the direction of Professor Oak's office. The puppy was in quite a hurry to start the journey and start protecting it's trainer--while Mei Hua was certainly capable of defending herself against human foes, even she wouldn't be able to have a fair fight against a giant Venasaur or something, right? That said, Agni wasn't capable of doing so either, but maybe soon he'd be able to protect her...
"I got it, Agni," Mei Hua said impatiently, somewhat irritated at the hole that now existed in her pants. Her Growlithe recently learned bite, and since then his teeth had become considerably more formidable weapons. Still, he was young and would learn to control his abilities. Mei Hua lifted Agni off the ground and carried him toward Professor Oak's Laboratory, a massive modern research center clearly distinguishable from the rustic background.
After knocking once, Mei Hua entered the lab. It was illuminated with almost blue, cold flourescent lights and stainless steel surfaces surrounded her in every direction. The unfamiliarity of this building made her shudder a little inside, though she'd never admit it. Professor Oak was nowhere in sight.
Agni's ears perked up, picking up a distant sound of a piece of paper being flipped. Wagging his tail eagerly, the energetic little puppy ran off in the direction of the sound. Mei Hua trailed him easily, as she was decently in shape and the length of her legs clearly outdid his. However, her breeder training kicked in and she was quick to note that her Pokemon's speed had increased considerably, and soon she would be unable to keep up.
"Hello, is Professor Oak in? I'm Mei Hua Long, the trainer from Blackthorn City. I talked to him the other day about starting my journey here." Mei Hua had followed Agni into a small office, where Professor Oak's aide sat organizing his research notes.
"Oh, welcome!" The Aide looked up and greeted her, before walking across the room to take a package from many piled up on the shelf. "Here's some items to get you started; There's some Pokeballs, a Town Map, and a Potion just in case your Growlithe gets hurt. Do you know how to use these?"
"Yes, thank you." Her father was a Dragon-type specialist and had taught her basic trainer skills, but was unable to aid her too much in breeding. He knew basic breeding skills as necessary for a trainer, but much of Mei Hua's knowledge came from her own research. Mei Hua accepted the package with a bow, seating herself on a nearby empty chair and sorting her new items in her black messenger bag, decorated with a red and gold dragon.
Agni began barking excitedly; the lab door had opened. With a hasty thank-you, Mei Hua followed her Pokemon and met the renowned Pokemon Prof.
And with Pokedex in hand, the Johto girl began her trek into the unknown.

xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxelizabeth ~ ☼xxxxx ❝ ─────────────────────┐ During the whole of a dull, bright, yet soundless day in the mildness of the year, when the clouds hung oppressively low in the heavens, I had been passing alone, on Pidgeot-back, through a singularly dreary tract of clouds; and at length found myself, as the shades of the night slowly fading away, within view of the melancholy Pokemon Laboratory. I know not how it was --but, with the first glimpse of the building, a sense of insufferable gloom pervaded my spirit. I say insufferable; for the feeling was unrelieved by any of that half-pleasurable, because poetic, sentiment, with which the mind usually receives even the sternest natural images of the desolate or terrible.
I looked upon the scene before me --upon the mere building, and the simple landscape features of the domain --upon the bleak walls --upon the vacant eye-like windows --upon a few rank sedges --and upon a plethora of trees that formed the border of the town --with an utter depression of soul which I can compare to no earthly sensation more properly than to the after-dream of the reveler upon Pokeblocks--the bitter lapse into everyday life--the hideous dropping off of the veil. There was an iciness, a sinking, a sickening of the heart --an unredeemed dreariness of thought which no goading of the imagination could torture into aught of the sublime. What was it --I paused to think --what was it that so unnerved me in the contemplation of the Pokemon Laboratory? It was a mystery all-insoluble; nor could I grapple with the shadowy fancies that crowded upon me as I pondered.
I was forced to fall back upon the unsatisfactory conclusion, that while, beyond doubt, there are combinations of very simple natural creatures which have the power of thus affecting us, still the analysis of this power lies among considerations beyond our depth. It was possible, I reflected, that a mere different arrangement of the particulars of the scene, of the details of the picture, would be sufficient to modify, or perhaps to annihilate its capacity for sorrowful impression; and, acting upon this idea, I reined my Pidgeot to the precipitous brink of a blue lurid square lake that lay in unruffled luster by the lab, and gazed down --but with a shudder even more thrilling than before --upon the remodeled and inverted images of the white walls, and the thick tree-stems, and the vacant and eye-like windows.
Nevertheless, in this lab of gloom I now proposed to myself a sojourn of some weeks. Its proprietor, Professor Oak, had been one of my idols during childhood; but many years had elapsed since my last thought of it. A letter, however, had lately reached me in a distant part of the country --a letter from him --which, in its wildly importunate nature, had admitted of no other than a personal reply. The ‘Prof.’ gave evidence of a sense of superiority. The writer spoke of Pokemon—and his acute interest in the subject—and an earnest desire to see me, as a Professor, and only a Professor, with a specific, strict purpose, but with a tone of cheerfulness. It was the manner in which all this, and much more, was said --it the apparent heart that went with his request --which allowed me no room for hesitation; and I accordingly obeyed forthwith what I still considered a very singular summons.Ellie had already decided her fate before her feet touched the ground. She would be dead. Six feet under. Well, she'd like to be cremated upon death but you get the metaphor. This place was horrid. Horrid and full of death. She could already see blood flowing out of the walls of the lab. The blood of poor tiny little baby Pokemon sent to their deaths by a man named Professor Oak. Or... so she heard, anyways. Mommy dearest had told her so, so it must be true! It had to be! Mother was never wrong! Usually. On rare occasions she was completely wrong and just being judgmental. The girl hesitated a bit, getting off Mother's Pidgeot. If what she was told was true, she would be getting a Pokemon today. Along with a bunch of unnecessary stuff that will probably never come in handy. But before getting anything at all, even a first impression, she would have to conquer the dark dungeon of death and dying. Many trainers who had come in had not ever left the lab with Pokemon... or their lives ! But... this building didn't seem like a dungeon, not one bit! It looked like a normal large house fused with a small town doctor's office. Well, at least the ones in the old movies. She patted that one Pidgeot that she had just spent like three hours with flying over Pokearth from Sinnoh to a small, dinky region to the northwest. But... from above it was pretty. No one told her it was pretty. Ellie closed her eyes tightly as the bird rose into the air with large flaps of large wings, stirring up dirt and rocks. Like Sand-Attack. That Pidgeot was probably just trying to sabotage her, blind her right before her journey. Seemed like a thing that Mother would train her Pokemon to do. Not just to her daughter, but everyone. Glad she didn't live with her anymore, she was. Time for the entrance room of the dungeon. Those had like... easy monsters in them, right? Ellie could take them out alright. Although she had no real experience, she had her fair share of World of Warcraft battles. Those were about the same, probably. Ellie stepped inside, bracing herself for skeletons hanging on the wall by their wrists, blood and slime cascading down the wall in soft ripples. Wild little monster things running about. But no, it maintained the same white ambiance as the outside had. Were they hiding somethi- OMG A MONSTER! This was your chance to gain some real life experience, Ellie! A Staryu who was meandering past her, for some reason outside of it's Pokeball was instantly seen by the keen eye of Elizabeth Heart. It seemed surprised, though you couldn't really tell since it didn't have eyes or a mouth, and started to run away upon view of a girl's frightening look of violence. Ellie chased it and it turned around, thinking the girl might want to take her. Ellie stopped right infront of it and reared her foot in preparation for a swift kick to the Pokemon. "Stop! What are you doing? Seems we have quite a wild child on our hands." Professor Oak intercepted the not-so-powerful kick extremely easily with a palm of his hand. He was a relatively old man, dressed in a white coat and wore a red shirt. Ellie hoped he changed it at least every other day. Somehow she doubted it, though. Whenever she saw Prof. Oak on T.V. or something, he was wearing either the same or a similar red shirt. Oak smiled warmly. "I-I... I'm sorry! I'm not really like this! I thought... I thought it was attacking me." Ellie sulked her head. The Staryu looked all around, rather oblivious to the whole fiasco going on. Oak patted Ellie on the head. "No harm done, miss. For the real matter of this situation, let us go into my office and I'll introduce you to Pokemon if you don't know anything about it, or I'll just give you all the stuff you need and I'll get out of your way." Oh, okay. She was just being stupid and over reacting about this whole thing! There was no dungeon, or dead bodies that she knew of, but... Follow an strange old man into his office? Didn't that seem rather... dumb? Oh well. He protected her from monsters. She nodded and followed Oak into a room not far from where they had currently been standing. He sat down in a swivel chair facing away from her, then dramatically swiveled to face her, holding a Pokeball. "This is a Pokeball." He said in a matter-of-factly tone, putting a finger in the air like this was a lecture. In essence, it was, though. "I know." Ellie said hesitantly. She didn't want to seem rude in front of a professor! Maybe an aide though, those didn't matter. Oak seemed impressed. "Do you now?" He nodded, and set the Pokeball down on his desk. He then crossed his fingers and looked Ellie in the eye. She flinched back a little. "Now, for the real order a business. Your first Pokemon. Which one would you like?" Oak set out a few Pokeballs, each one with a label of a Pokemon's name. Ellie concentrated, she would have to make this choice amazing! It would be her partner for the rest of her life! Or until she abandoned it in the PC or she kicked it's brains out. At this point in time, the Staryu from before meandered in. Ellie paid no attention to it, just the Pokeballs in front of her. Ekans, Growlithe, Chansey... I don't like any of these. She looked troubled, and Oak asked her what was wrong. She shook her head, and just pointed to the Staryu. "I'll just take that one." Ellie said without much confidence. And who did she think she was? Choosing Pokemon like she chose a pair of shoes. Oak nodded, and pulled out a standard red Pokedex from a drawer in his desk. "He's been here for a while." He said, for no real reason other than to say something. He handed her the Pokedex. "You know what this is, too?" Ellie nodded. Of course, she didn't know, really, but she didn't want to waste any more of Oak's time having to explain things to her. Plus, it was kind of against her morale to accept help. It wasn't a pride thing, she just didn't really like people all that much. "It seems someone taught you well. I like that." Oak smiled, clapped his hands as if to turn on one of those clap-lights, but it was really just to call an aide. He suggested all other questions be transferred to the aide and to have a nice day, after which he promptly left the office. The aide had come into the office with a rolling cart, on it five Pokeballs, a town map, and one whole Potion. Well that was generous. [/sarcasm] Ellie commented that she did indeed have no further questions, greedily took all that was there on the cart, as well as that Staryu's Pokeball, and left the lab. Well, that wasn't so bad. After all, she was expecting a dungeon. Quote: xxxxxJournalxxxxx[ coming from :// home ] [ heading to:// route 1 ]

╭ Tralalalalalalalalalalalalalalala ╮ ✿Rishiki✿ ╰ Tralalalalalalalalalalalalalalala ╯ Rishiki shifted through the contents of her bag one more time. There were several changes of clothes along with a potion and a map her mother packed without her noticing. The teen smiled to herself. In fact, she was surprised her overprotective mother let her go off on a journey by herself. She zipped her bag back up, still smiling, and shifted it to her back. She switched her attention to Staraptor-one of her mother's favorite Pokemon. Rishiki had a slight fear of bird Pokemon, her mother had known that but it was the only way for the teen to get to Pallet Town as quickly as she did and as safe. "T-thanks, Staraptor. You can go home now," she managed to say, her smile failing. The bird Pokemon looked the human over, checking to make sure she was in one piece before flying off west, toward home. With a sigh, she looked about the small town. It was much smaller than Goldenrod, that was for sure but there was something about small towns that just seemed so inviting. A smile overtook her face as she found the building she was looking for. The famous Professor Oak's lab. Rishiki proceeded her way to the lab, skipping. She stopped at the door, swinging her arms happily. She was debating if she should knock or not. "Welp, might as well," she said as she raised her fist and knocked. Almost immediately there was an answer. A rather young man in a lab coat opened the door. Was this Professor Oak? Rishiki had heard the professor was an older man. Maybe she had heard wrong. "Professor Oak?"The man laughed. "No. I'm his aide. The professor is out back with the Pokemon. You're here for your first? He'll have you pick from among them." The man led Rishiki through the building, talking all the way. It was mainly about Pokemon and the different ones each new trainer picked. He left her at the backdoor, pointing out Professor Oak among a group of Pokemon. Rishiki made her way to him, looking at each Pokemon as she went. She had yet to decide on which Pokemon to be her first. None of them spoke to her. As she approached Professor Oak, he turned to her with a smile. "Hello. You must be Rishiki Peters. You're mother called earlier saying you'd be coming to get your first Pokemon. Feel free to choose any you'd like."That just made things harder. How was she to pick one out of so many? She looked around at all the Pokemon. A flash of something gold caught her eyes. She sprinted towards it and lashed onto the giant rock snake Pokemon. A gold onix. She looked back at Professor Oak. "This one. I want this fellow as my partner. And his name shall be Au." Professor Oak looked surprise and slightly confused. "Because Au is the name of gold on the periodic table."Professor Oak smiled and went inside as Rishiki continued to hug her new friend. He came back out soon enough with his assistant. The professor returned the Onix to a pokeball, leaving the new trainer hugging air. The older man handed the ball and a pokedex to her. He taught her how to use the Pokedex. Rishiki had known the basics from watching her older siblings but it was nice to know everything. "Oh and here. Five pokeballs," the aide said, handing over the balls. Rishiki smiled at both men. "Thank you so much." She gave a quick bow to them before leaving. The sky was peaceful, Pokémon filled the sky, mainly Pidgey's; Spearows and Pokémon of those sort. But two other were in the sky this beautiful mourning. Their skin as Orange as fire; a aura of heat emitting from their bodies. It was two Chairazards, great in size, and majestic in flight. But why were they in the sky, at this time of the mourning, and flying from the direction of Cinnabar Island, towards Pallet Town?
But then, this was made clear, as upon each Charizard were at least two people, well three on one and two on the other. Holding on for there dear life as the Charizard cut through the sky, and just above the surface of the ocean. As they cut across the surface of the ocean, a spray of water would hit the five people in the face, and now they would appear more awake. But they weren't drenched, it was simply a refreshing spray, if anything a mist of water in the face. But now the Charizards were closing in on Pallet Town, fast and hard. With nothing in their way.
What was much better was they appeared completely friendly and tamed. And so their goals were set, and those goals were; "Get this group of people to Pallet Town." By now as they approached Pallet Town, the early fishermen that were near the river that lead out to the sea, would lay eyes upon the group and the two Charizards. It was obvious why the group was coming to Pallet Town; they here to start their Pokémon Trainer Adventure.
Then, just a couple of feet away from the Fishermen; the Charizards landed down upon the ground and Roared as they were known for. With that the group would drop off teh backs of the two Pokémon, and at that time, they would fly back off to Cinnabar Island, but not before one of the group Spoke.
A boy who wore shorts, a very bright shirt, a straw hat and shades. He turned to them both, smiling and fed them some Pokétreats; "Thank you very much, Blaze; Char-Char, get yourself back home to Mum and Dad safely." He spoke with a smile on his face, and as the two took off, he turned to address the group. "Okay guys, we made it, haha; I guess, we should go find Prof. Oak, right?" He then opened his Satchel, "Well I have a Region Map; and a Potion for us each, you can thank my Mum next time you see her haha." And with that, he reached into the bag and handed everybody a map and their potion. ▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬ xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx ʟᴇᴠᴇʟ: fɪᴠᴇ || ᴘᴏᴋᴇʙʀᴇᴇᴅ: sqᴜɪʀᴛʟᴇ || ɴɪᴄᴋɴᴀᴍᴇ: sʜᴇʟʟ-sʜᴏᴄᴋᴇʀ ▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬ Changes ▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬ ɪᴛᴇᴍs: xxxxxxItemHere xxxxxxItemHere xxxxxxItemHere xxxxxxItemHere xxxxxxItemHere ᴘᴏᴋᴇᴍᴏɴ: xxxxxxItemHere xxxxxxItemHere xxxxxxItemHere xxxxxxItemHere xxxxxxItemHere ᴘᴏᴋᴇᴅᴇx: xxxxxxItemHere xxxxxxItemHere xxxxxxItemHere xxxxxxItemHere xxxxxxItemHere ▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬

Quinn Barnett Quinn's blue eyes searched the ground below as she rode on the back of a Charizard from her home on Cinnabar Island. It hadn't been too long ago that she was breaking the news to her parents that she was finally going on her own pokemon journey with her group of closest friends. They were a bit resistant to the idea at first, but that was not going to stop her from going. After all, she was 16 years old at this point - most people left then they were 10 to go on this kind of journey. Now, arms wrapped across Niji's chest, the group started to head towards the ground in their final decent towards Pallet Town. Her stomach was almost in a knot, not because she was nervous to go on the journey but because she still had not decided on what kind of pokemon she was going to ask for.
Slipping from Char Char's back, she smiled at the Charizard, giving it a pat on the head as Niji fed it some pokemon treats.
"Thanks for the ride," she called out as the pokemon returned to their island, Quinn taking a deep breath as she waited for the group to get settled enough to head over to Professor Oak's lab. Letting her hair down from their flight, she messed her fingers through it before pinning it back from her face once more, stretching her arms over her head. She loved flying, but it got stiff sitting like that for an extended period of time. Niji said that they should go find Professor Oak, Quinn chuckled slightly.
"Of course that's our next stop," she said with a grin, accepting the town map and potion that was handed to her. Tucking her new treasures gently into her bag, where they would be organized, she turned to the rest of the group, quirking an eyebrow slightly. Were they ready to go get their first pokemon? She knew she was, though she hadn't told them what she was thinking of getting. To be honest, she still wasn't sure herself. Her father kept mentioning fire-types that she should ask for, though the chances of her cashing in on that advice were slim to none. No, Quinn would need to see what her options were before she made a decision.
Moving so she was standing near Sevilla, the only other girl in their group (and really her only other friend that was a girl), tucking her gloved hands into the back pockets of her jeans.
"Well, gang? What d'ya say we get this show on the road? It looks like the Pokemon Lab is that way," she said calmly, pointing across the town to a large white building.Changes: ⊗ Pokemon: xx- None Yet⊗ Item: xx + Town Mapxx + 1 Potion⊗ Pokedex: xx- Viewed Charizard⊗ People: xx- Niji, Sevilla, Ivan and Lucky

Incidentally, he was riding atop the back of a majestic Charzard, one in which belonged to Niji's mother. The sky was as beautiful as ever; big, blue, and filled with a countless variety of pokemon. Dante often held back his emotion's, even those of pleasure, and yet he found himself smiling as they soared gracefully through the open air. Flying was one of the rare time's that the boy felt truly at peace with everything around him, it was as if he was one with the sky itself.
His large, seductive Hazel eye's fell over the ocean, resulting in the daydream that soon followed. He envisioned himself as a young child, spending his day's in Coney Island, with both his mother and father. Riding the ride's, and playing carnival game's without a care in the world. Those were the day's, back before stress and anxiety came into play. Dante gave the Charzard a light pat on the head, and in return it gave a roar of approval. Such beauty. Dragon type pokemon were his favorite, and thus was the reason he already knew what his starter pokemon would be.
As the great beast swept over the bluish green ocean, so close that one could see their own reflection, Dante placed the tip's of his finger's along the waters surface allowing it to split around his hand. That is until a mighty stroke of Charzard's massive wing's distorted the image of his reflection, and caused the water to gently spray him in the face. It was refreshing, and far more than enough to quickly snap him out of his daydream. Dante ran his right hand through his perfectly spiked hair, before then burying his left hand into the satchel at his side.
Only a moment would pass before he'd withdraw a single stick of Spearmint gun, as he removed the wrapper, and popped it into his mouth. Over his ear's he wore his pink and vermilion colored, Hello Kitty headphone's, blasting Sleigh Bell's by Kid's. Most boy's would claim to be too macho to wear anything, Hello Kitty, but Dante on the other hand was way too comfortable with his sexuality to give a damn what anyone thought. He loved women, and that is all that mattered. It wouldn't be long now, fore they were nearing their destination, a quaint little place called Pallet Town.
Countless strands of hair fell over his face, as they began their decent, before coming to a gentle stop not far from the dock's. In one fluid motion, Dante swung his left leg over the Charzard's back, and leapt off the creature, landing on his feet with a thud. Then, with a quick yet subtle jerk of the neck, the boy nonchalantly removed the hair, that hid his face, from his line of vision. Running deep within the confine's of his sub-conscious, Dante tried desperately to sort through the mass of thought's that plagued his mind, in an attempt to grasp hold of a single one, but to no avail.
No, he was far to excited for that, though his face neglected to show it. With one hand he toyed with his lip ring, while the other lye buried deep within his pocket, as Niji spoke; handing the entire group both a map and a potion. Nodding with appreciation he took the item's, placed them in his satchel, and awaited the rest of the group. Dante's gaze swept over the area, it was very homely, the ideal place to grow up. "Since he is the one giving us our pokemon, then yes, I'd assume we'd need to seek him out." He replied in response to Niji's initial question, with a nonchalant shrug. Though his response would probably come off as sarcastic, or rude, that wasn't at all what he intended. In fact Dante couldn't help it, as was his nature. He wore a white button up dress shirt, with an orange-red tie which had a cross printed in white near the bottom, along with a pair of black jean's. He also wore a diamond encrusted collar around his neck, and white wrist band's, all purely in the pursuit of fashion. Without another word, he'd wait in silence, listening to his tunes. ᴏᴄᴄ ᴘᴏsᴛ XXXXX[➨] I redid my RPC. Sevilla Freeman Eyes clamped shut, Sevilla prayed that the ride on the Charizard would soon be over. She had no desire to view the world passing below her, or to see how far the drop would be to it if one were to fall. Maybe she shouldn't have come. No, no, no. She had been wanting to go on a Pokemon journey for a long time now, but didn't want to go along. She couldn't bring herself to ask someone though. So when Niji asked, Sevilla jumped at the chance to travel with everyone. A spray of ocean water forced the teen girl to open her eyes. Amazing, everything's so beautiful, she thought, watching a school of tentacool swimming below them, under the water. It wasn't long before the group landed in Pallet Town. Sevilla stumbled off the Charizrd and took a few wobbly steps to regain her balance. She was glad she hadn't fallen after her first step. After giving both Charizards a treat and thanking them, Niji turned to the rest of the group and gave them maps and a potion-from his mom. Sevilla took them with a small thank you, tucking them into her bag. The teen thought about how to thank her friend's mom. Waiting till they reach Cinnabar again seemed like such a long time before thanking someone. Maybe she'd call her when they reached the first Pokemon center. Nope. Sevilla would end up not saying a word and thus unable to say the two words she wanted to. A letter. That was definitely the way to go. It'd allow her to convey her gratitude without any misunderstandings or awkward silences. That decided, Sevilla turned her attention back to the conversation. They were talking about heading to Professor Oak's lab. The thought of the lab made the teen think about Pokemon. She had no idea as to which one she'd get. She looked at Quinn, flashing a nervous smile. She was glad that Quinn was here. Having another girl around made things easier, or at least it felt that way. Sevilla wondered what Quinn and everyone else's partner Pokemon would be. She'd find out when they reached the Professor's place. But with that said, he pulled out a phone and rang home quickly. "Hey Mum, yeah we made it, everybody's okay. Yes, yes, uh-huh, yep, got it. Make sure to be on time? Got it." All the while he was nodding his head, something he did, basically he was a very energetic character, and as such, allot of what he did involved physical body movements to co-inside with what he was doing at the time. Such as now, with him nodding his head, even though his mother could not see he was. "Alright, bye Mum!" With that he hung up and placed the phone in his pocket.
"Okay, according to my mum, our appointment with Prof. Oak is at 10:00am, that leaves us with three hours, maybe if we're lucky we can get in early? Well, then without further ado, let us go!!" With that said as Niji checked his watch, he began a rather speedy walk towards the big white building, the Prof's office. All the while he was humming a tune, nothing famous, simply the music in his head. Something everybody had if they listened closely enough to themselves. A smile on his face, and the aura of happiness about him. He wouldn't wait up for his friends, they'd surely catch up very soon. After all, if Niji got in there first, he could hopefully get the Pokémon his Granddad suggested to him, it sounded the most bad a**, especially for a starter.
Reaching the building's doors. He noticed they had just opened up, he assumed there was no need to knock on the door as it was to be thought of as a Store of sorts. After all they stored Pokémon here. And so Niji entered, his smile still upon his face. And as he did, a man standing in a white coat, with Grey hair seemed to appear from a back office, a smile also on his face, but it showed a hint of Surprise. Then he began to approach Niji. "AH! Niji Nami, am I correct? I'm sure your Mother made the appointment for you and your friends at 10 o'clock... Ah well come over here."
And with that Niji approached Oak, who was standing at a desk with several draws beneath it. "Luckily, you guys have the earliest appointment anyway, so I guess being early is fine, although I must admit, I expected you to be much younger, like the others. I'm going to assume your friends are of the same age, and your journey is going to be shared with them, right? That's brilliant, allowed yourself to obtain an education before entering the world of Pokémon." With that, Oak opened one of the draws, there were several Pokéballs there, all looked the same, except for numbers being scratched into them. "Okay Niji, pick a Pokémon, we have plenty to choose from."
Niji's eyes were laid upon several Pokéballs, the smile on his face simply grew larger and larger. But then he turned his head Prof. Oak and aksed a question. "Prof. Oak, do you by any chance have a Squirtle?! Grandpa suggested it to me, said I'd like one, never seen one, so it could be cool!" Okay simply nodded and chuckled, picking up one of the Pokéballs, he handed it to Niji. "Here, haven't been able to get this little guy a home, he's too energetic for most trainers, but something tells me, you might just be perfect for him..." With that said, Niji swiped the Pokéball and bowed his head in respect, then he threw it onto the ground. A white glow and an orb of light exploded from the Pokéball, and there before Niji and Prof. Oak was a Squirtle.
It ran straight towards Niji and dive on him. "Squirtle, Squirt!" With that it simply smiled at Niji, they had an instant connection, almost as if they had known each other for man years, hell maybe in past lives they were Trainer and Poképartner. But Niji instantly fell into a Platonic Love with Squirtle. "Maybe you should give the little guy a Nickname, Hmm?"
Standing back up Niji nodded, but he didn't need to think at all, the name he wished to call the Little guy was, "SHELL-SHOCKER!!!" To which, the Squirtle jumped up for joy. Niji then picked up Shell-Shocker and placed it on his shoulders. The Squirtle gently gripped his hat, and would now remain on his shoulders, not in his Pokéball.
Oak then signalled for an Aide to enter the room. As he did, the Aide carried a bag. "Okay Niji, here's your Pokédex, a white one haha, just something I thought you'd like, and here are your starting Pokéballs, go take a seat and wait for your friends. When you are all together, I will speak to you all. With that Niji wandered over to a bench and sat down, Squirtle sitting happily on his shoulders, as Niji began to hum the music in his head, Squirtle began to also do the same, except the Pattern was copied by the use of "Squirt, Squirtle!" ▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬ xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx ʟᴇᴠᴇʟ: fɪᴠᴇ || ᴘᴏᴋᴇʙʀᴇᴇᴅ: sqᴜɪʀᴛʟᴇ || ɴɪᴄᴋɴᴀᴍᴇ: sʜᴇʟʟ-sʜᴏᴄᴋᴇʀ ▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬ Changes ▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬ ɪᴛᴇᴍs: xxxxxxPokédex xxxxxxx5 Pokéballs xxxxxxItemHere xxxxxxItemHere xxxxxxItemHere ᴘᴏᴋᴇᴍᴏɴ: xxxxxxCaught Squirtle! xxxxxxItemHere xxxxxxItemHere xxxxxxItemHere xxxxxxItemHere ᴘᴏᴋᴇᴅᴇx: xxxxxxSquritle Seen! xxxxxxItemHere xxxxxxItemHere xxxxxxItemHere xxxxxxItemHere ▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬

✘ "When I Battle I'm Gonna Need A Hero" ✘ xx▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬xx✘ Occupation Pokemon Trainer ✘ Partner Eevee | Hero ✘ Badges Nonexx▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬xxᴙᴩ ᴩоѕт-----The last remaining member of the group was Ivan someone who was known for his casual attitude towards life. As he relaxed on the back of the mighty Charizard the wind would collide with his entire being causing his golden blond hair to blow against the wind currents. The pleasant smile on his face was just the expression for the very moment. As always his large heart shaped headphones were over his ears releasing a beautiful melody that mimic the moment of flying through the sky over the elegant blue ocean. As the Charizard lowered itself down to the water letting the tip of it's wings meet with the water splashing him in the face breaking him from the trance of his music. It was ironic since the song Children of the Earth by Ayur matched this precise moment since the beat dropped as the water jumped up.
-----Nothing really could comprehend the moment of soaring through the skies witnessing all of the beautiful young bird type Pokemon in their natural habitat. As well as the class of Magikarp swimming below them along with the Poliwag that would come to the scene as well. Like most things it would have to come to an end since they were nearing their destination of Pallet Town a place of beginning for all of them. Once they all landed Ivan slid off the side of the Charizard and only turned to him to give a heart warming smile before speaking "Thank you for the brief tour of the sky Blaze" his voice was calm and relaxed. Before he turned to Niji and accepted the the Region Map and Potion. Now their next stop was to find the Professor to get their hands on their first Pokemon which would begin the journey of a lifetime for a group of childhood friends.
-----With everyone now situated and all in agreement with going to find Professor Oaks Lab they were off. Their was one problem and that was Ivan's bad sense of direction which led him astray from the group a known habit that his friends knew all too well. Somehow he wandered off to an old abandon home of a well known Trainer that grew up in this town. His name was Red someone who was fearsome in battle with a powerfully unmatched Pikachu. Taking softer and more delicate steps Ivan reached the sign that was a little dusty. Extending his right arm and reaching out he brushed off the dust to read "The home of Red" in plain simple letters. Moments later he exhaled then looked up to the sky "I wonder where Red is?" a simple question that required a challenging answer.
-----After wandering off Ivan was left outside with only two buildings in his sights. Not having any idea of which one to go to first he exhaled once more in the sound of a sigh. Reaching over his head he placed his headphones over his ears and walked off just going with the flow. A bad move since his flow always sent him off in the opposite direction. Their was an exception this time Ivan noticed a brief flash go off in one building and new that it was his friends obtaining their Pokemon. "Looks like someone has gotten their hands on their first Pokemon" he said to himself before heading over to the building walking inside then taking his headphones off to see that it was Niji to go first picking out a Squirtle. Sneaking his way to the back Ivan just awaited his turn already having a idea in mind for the first Pokemon that he wanted. Quinn Barnett Quinn smiled slightly as Niji spoke on the phone with his mom, Quinn making a mental note that she should call her own parents when they got to a Pokemon Center. Until she got her first pokemon, she knew that her father in particular would be less interested in anything she had to say, and seeing the Charizard return to the island would be enough indication to them that the group had arrived safely. When he explained that their appointment with Professor Oak wasn't until later, but there was a chance that they might get in to see him early, Quinn was ready to jump at the chance to get started earlier than possible. Her mind still struggled with the decision as to what pokemon she was going to ask for once she got to the lab, those thoughts occupying her as the group made their way towards Professor Oak's.
Niji was the first one to get to the lab, heading inside while the rest of the group waiting just inside the door. This was a big day for them all, but they were friends - there would be no pushing and shoving to get their pokemon first. After all, they were all leaving together on their group journey. Their friend picked a Squirtle for his starter pokemon, Quinn smiling slightly when she saw how happy they were with each other. When they were growing up, his Grandfather always talked about how it would be a great starter for any beginning trainer. Ivan also joined them, waiting patiently in the back while Quinn stepped forward to receive her pokemon. It was time for the big decision.
"I guess I'll go next," she said to the group, giving Niji's Squirtle a pat on the head as she passed. Walking up to the Professor, she took a deep breath as he greeted her, motioning to the same drawer from which Niji had picked his squirtle from moments before.
"Well, you should know the drill. Just pick a pokemon and we'll get you all fixed up for your journey," Professor Oak spoke with a kind smile. Quinn stepped forward picking up the pokeball on the left and releasing a Charmander. Looking up at her with big blue eyes, Quinn tilted her head to the side slightly, stepping forward to check out the pokemon a little closer. However, with each step she took, the pokemon retreated a step, Quinn letting out a slight sigh. It was just too timid for her, so she called it back into it's pokeball, taking the second pokeball and releasing a Bulbasaur into the lab.
"Bulbasaur," it called, rushing forward and nudging her leg with her it's forehead. Quinn released a slight laugh as the force knocked her back a step, the girl taking a knee and gently running her hand over the bulb on the pokemon's back. Closing her eyes with a softer cry, the Bulbasaur tilted her head into Quinn's hand, the new trainer nodding as she glanced up at Professor Oak.
"I'll take this one," she said with a smile, collecting the Bulbasaur into her arms with a happy smile. Professor Oak smiled at the new pokemon trainer, handing her a Pokedex and five pokeballs.
"Looks like you two are going to make quite a team. Here's your pokedex and pokeballs to get you started. Now, if you'll just go sit with Niji and his pokemon we'll get the rest of your group taken care of and you guys can get on your way." Quinn nodded and moved to take a seat near her friend so that the rest of their group could get their first pokemon from the Professor. As he turned to take care of the next new trainer, Quinn smiled down at the pokemon in her lap, the Bulbasaur rubbing her arm with her head.
"Can you believe this is happening Niji? You've got Shell Shocker, I've got Persephone…this journey is finally happening." The normally calm and reserved Quinn could hardly keep the excitement out of her voice as she spoke, fingers scratching Persephone under the chin.
"Bulbaaaaa," the pokemon breathed out, looking happy.Changes: ⊗ Pokemon: xx- Persephone ( ) HP: 5 / 5 xx EXP gained: 0 xx Exp Needed to Level 7: 0 / 65⊗ Item: xx + Pokedexxx + 5 Pokeballs⊗ Pokedex: xx- Viewed Squirtle⊗ People: xx- Met Professor Oak

Sevilla Freeman Sevilla followed her friends to Professor Oak's lab. She looked at Niji and his squirtle as Quinn was picking her Pokemon. They seemed to be getting along quite well. Sevilla hoped she picked one that she easily got along with. The sound of a Bulbasaur caught her attention. It seemed Quinn had picked her partner. The Bulbasaur was so cute. Sevilla took a deep breath and step towards Professor Oak, hoping Ivan wouldn't mind if she went first. "Take your time and pick your Pokemon," Professor Oak told her. She nodded her head. Keeping her head down, she looked at each pokeball, her hair falling into her eyes. Looking over each ball, her mind drew a blank. None of the Pokemon jumped at her and Sevilla couldn't think of one she wanted. A frown pulled at the corner of her mouth. Had it been this hard for Niji and Quinn? A small sigh escaped her as she moved onto the next pokeball. Sevilla stopped in her tracks. Inside the pokeball, the pokemon was holding it's head as if in confusion. She picked up the ball and released the Pokemon from it. In a flash of red light, a Psyduck appeared. It held it's head and tilted to the side. "Psyduck?"So cute. "Professor Oak, may I have this Psyduck, please," she asked, holding her hands behind her back-nervous. "Of course."Psyduck walked the few steps toward Sevilla. "Psy?" Sevilla smiled and patted his head. "Here's you Pokedex and some pokeballs," Professor Oak said, handing the items to the teen. Sevilla took them with a quiet thank you and headed over to Niji and Quinn, Psyduck following. The Psyduck tripped. "Baffle! Are you okay?" She ran back to her partner and picked him up. Everything seemed to be alright with the Psyduck. She carried him the rest of the way to the others. ✘ "When I Battle I'm Gonna Need A Hero" ✘ xx▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬xx✘ Occupation Pokemon Trainer ✘ Partner Eevee | Hero ✘ Badges Nonexx▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬xxᴙᴩ ᴩоѕт-----Simply sitting back and watching as each of his gained their first Pokemon and partner one by one. Ivan could not hold back the smirk that was lying dormant in his body. Seeing that if was finally his turn to acquire the same joy as Niji, Quinn, and Sevilla. First was a Squirtle then it was Bulbasaur and oddly enough even a Psyduck. It would seem that Professor Oak had them all. But did he have what Ivan was looking? A question that would soon be answered as he took a step forward. Taking his right hand from his pocket he moved his headphones from his ears down to his neck. Always having that same calm attitude towards situations. "Why hello young man, you must be Ivan?" the Professor greeted him kindly as Ivan nodded to his remark. "Well Ivan as you have seen from your friends before you. Just pick out the Pokemon you would like"
-----Managing to keep the relaxed attitude Ivan examined each Pokemon until his eyes stopped on the one he had a gut feeling on. Extending his hand Ivan opened the Pokeball releasing the stream of red light that formed the shape of a Eevee. Who appeared looking up at Ivan tilting it's head to the side "Eve?". Both Ivan and Eevee locked eyes having a small moment before the Eevee sprung into action dashing right to Ivan. Stopping right in it's tracks to nudge it's head against Ivan's leg. Leaning down to him Ivan placed his hand on it;s head rubbing behind his left ear. "Hey little guy are you ready for an adventure?" Eevee jumped up and ran circles around Ivan showing his excitement making it official that they would be together forever. Ivan simply chuckled at his new partners free spirit and held out his hand. The next lap around Eevee ran up Ivan's arm and claimed his spot on his shoulder. Simply rubbing his head again Ivan spoke once more "I choose Hero as my partner Professor"
-----"Splendid then you will need these right here" handing Ivan Hero's Pokeball and another five for when he starts his party. The main tool to his list was the Pokedex an item that would help him on his journey with his friends to see all kinds of Pokemon. Turning and facing his friends Ivan revealed a faint smirk on his face before turning back to Professor Oak and taking the needed items. "Thank You" after placing all the items in his bag Ivan headed over with his friends and sat down next to them with Hero still on his shoulder. "This is gonna be awesome now that I have Hero, our journey is really gonna get rolling" his tone of voice obviously excited about the adventure that is to come.Changes ▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬ɪᴛᴇᴍs: xxxxxxPokeDex xxxxxxPokeBalls x5 xxxxxxItemHere xxxxxxItemHere xxxxxxItemHere ᴘᴏᴋᴇᴍᴏɴ: xxxxxxCaught | Eevee xxxxxxItemHere xxxxxxItemHere xxxxxxItemHere xxxxxxItemHere ᴘᴏᴋᴇᴅᴇx: xxxxxxSeen | Squirtle xxxxxxSeen | Bulbasaur xxxxxxSeen | Psyduck xxxxxxItemHere xxxxxxItemHere▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬

Quinn Barnett Quinn was patient as the rest of her friends received their starters from Professor Oak, all the while stroking her own pokemon under the chin. Sevilla received a Psyduck, which seemed to be a little clumsy, but cute all the same. Ivan was lucky enough to get an adorable Eevee for his starter, Quinn smiling when they had all acquired what they came here for. They each nicknamed their own pokemon, Quinn absentmindedly giving Persephone a squeeze in her lap. Her father would be a little less than pleased that she'd chosen a grass-type rather than a fire-type, but at the end of the day she was happiest with her choice. After all, they were going to be together forever - Persephone and herself were going to make one heck of a team as she took on the Pokemon League on Indigo Plateau.
Ivan made his way over to the group, Quinn noting the excitement on his face now that he had a pokemon of his own. It was the same look that graced all their faces - their journey was ready to officially begin. Let the good time roll. Quinn stood once all of them were in the same place, turning to face the group with her pokemon still held snugly in her arms. A smile graced her features, the girl seeming rather at peace and uncharacteristically calm about everything. Of course, once they got on the road that was likely going to change. Quinn didn't plan on wasting a second of training with her new partner. The Pokemon League seemed but a few days away, and there was so much work to be done.
"Well, if we're ready, I say we get out of here and hit the road. Maybe we can make it to Vermillion before sundown if we keep up a good pace," she said in a rather authoritative tone, placing Persephone on the ground and her own hands on her hips as she motioned for the door. If they were half as excited as she was to get down to training, then they'd be ready to go. Not like there was much else for them to do here anyways. Motioning for the group to follow her, Quinn heading outside to wait for them, Persephone trotting along at her side. As she waited, the new trainer couldn't help but gaze down at her own pokemon was affection and excitement - this was the start of a whole new world for her - what she'd been dreaming of for years. And she was certainly starting this journey off on a high note.Changes: ⊗ Pokemon: xx- Persephone ( ) HP: 5 / 5 xx EXP gained: 0 xx Exp Needed to Level 7: 0 / 65⊗ Item: xx +None⊗ Pokedex: xx- Viewed Eeveexx- Viewed Psyduck⊗ People: xx- None
