Keeping her gaze locked on the scared human below she adjusted her position to better view her prey. On the slippery edge of the awning her foot slipped, making a squeaking noise.

Hope flipped the lights on in the tiny apartment and closed the door behind her. she felt more secure in the apartment. she set her gun on the counter in the kitchen, and put the few things of food she found in the fridge. Then plopped down on the couch then she noticed, no one else is here.

Then plopped down on the couch then she noticed, no one else is here. Lunaya peered silently through the corner of the apartment's front window, curious as to what the human was up to. Her thirst began to slowly fade with Hope's scent being less strong, but still she wondered why she couldn't bring herself to extinguish the frail human's life like she had so many others. "Why was she different?.." she asked herself
