I would like to ask for your opinion on something.
For quite a while I have been going through some things, some good, some bad, not really wanting to go into the details, though I can think of a couple of you that have a good idea of what I am talking about.
Well, these things have been upon my mind lately and I decided to draw upon them and use them for a creative spark and ended up writing a poem that I think isn't half bad.
If it's not too much trouble, do you think you could read it adn give me some feed back. Been quite some time since I really wrote anything and I would like to improve.
"All things burn and fade.
Shadows; sinster waves rip across the lands,
Dark waters beat the shore.
Howling winds roar across the eternal plains,
Menacing darkness covers the frosted, frozen sky.
All light dwindles and fades
As the heart falls still and beats no more.
All things cast into the void;
Silence reigns supreme.
Darkness seeps forth with unbridled fury.
A pale spark breaks through the shadows,
A gentle glimmer flickers to life.
Shine forever more. Push back the darkness.
Fallen heart, beat; cast aside the shadows;
Arise from the ashes and stand once more."
