A seemingly innocent institution, a place to bring those who are now a 'menace' to society the unstable minded and even criminally insane.
But in reality, This is a place where inhumane experiments are conducted upon those admitted there. Everything form live dissections to genetic experiments. there will come a time however, when the test subjects become weary of being tortured day in and day out, and when that day comes the very foundation of the asylum will shatter.
Or so it is said.

Rules-

3- a picture, and character name in every post, this is so people know exactly who is speaking.
4- no all-powerful characters, everyone has strengths and weaknesses.
5- weaknesses should never exceed strengths, and visa versa keep them equal.

 ~Kyoko~ Kyoko looked ouside a small barred window in her cell. yeah,cells. Not even a proper bedroom. This place was like prison. A horibble prison. Kyoko close dehr eyes and thought about her home back in Kyoto. she thoguth about how it was probalby overrun by her step mother. Kyoko turned adn stared out of ehr cell. It had been three years since. Kyoko wonered if her step-mother would have doen what she did if she knew where Kyoko was. Kyoko was sixtteen but she looke dmuch younger because she was so skinny. Kyko's hair was long and un-washed, dirt was visible on her transparent skin. Kyoko shivvered. it was summer, yet the air was cold within the building. Kyoko was not aloud outside because she was needed for many different tests. her DNA was being messed with, why was it that they were making her not albino?
'Isn't albinishim a flaw?' she thought. 'I cannot stay in the sun without high power sunscreen, and even then i ahve to be careful.' Kyoko frowned and sniffled. she burried her face ing ehr rams and knees and curled up. Her long stringy hair had at one time been shorter and washed, it had once been a beautiful pure white that almost seemed silver in certain lights. Her skin too, was once washed and appeared as polished porceilan. She would dress as a vampire on halloween as a child because her skin and eyes played the part. Kyoko sobbed, she missed those days and yearned to return to them. She wished to be lost in memory, but she was intune with reality. Kyoko looked up, in no tiem at all there woudl be a 'doctor' there to take her for blood tests and to inject an anti depressant in her arm. Transparent like glass

REBECCA KANE You don't notice me....  Rebecca walked slowly down the halls, glad to be out of the testing room. The back of her head was throbbing and she was sick and tired of seeing tests and listening to information on those terribly tight headphones. She didn't dare rub the back of her head, though, she rememebred the last time. She shivered at the memory. There was something there, concealed beneath her mousy brown hair. It was scary, she didn't want to know what they did to her.
She stopped walking, hearing something inside one of the cells. "Hello?" she asked, her voice shaky and timid. she didn't know if she wanted to do this, but she thought she heard someone crying. it wasn't right to leave them alone. She looked up and down the halls before talking again, she couldn't be caught speaking to someone else. "Why are you crying?" A dumb question in this horrid place, but at least she was trying. It weas more than Rebecca ever did these days.

The path humanity will take, ♪~Hell~♪ ♫~Heaven~♫ Akari woke up sweaty and panting.She had the same dream again.The one where she was covered in blood and there were spirits everywhere.She shook her head and slowly calmed down.'That nightmare again...',she thought feeling claustrophobic again.She scooted closer to the window and opened it.If she could climb out she would but all the windows were barred up on the outside.She let out a sigh and let the cold wind clam her down.She slowly got up and sat on the side of the bed.Suddenly a whooshing sound came from the window and a spirit appeared."Hey Chloe...What are you doing here?",she asked tiredly.Her power allowed her to not only see auras but spirits. "Just here to check on you...same dream again?",she asked concerned.Akari nodded and closed her eyes."I wish...I wish I could get out of here...Why am I locked in here?I never did anything wrong in my life!",she exclaimed but then let out a few coughs.Chloe gasped and disappeared.Akari looked at the door and heard some knocking.A voice asked her if she was ok."Yes I'm fine!Leave me alone!",she answered back loudly so they would leave quickly.She hated this place.Ever since she came, she started to have weird dreams and nightmares.♠~Soul~♠ ♣~Blood~♣ A world where pain is lost,

  "I wasn't brought here for the same reasons..."-- It was just another day of wandering the halls, processing pointless information and running tests on Orfeo's... augments. There was a faint whir or mechanical parts as the large robotic arms attached to the boy's back came to life and reached up, up, to gently grasp the handle on the window and twist. The window opened and a faint breeze rolled in to remedy the clamminess of the hallway. Orfeo would have sighed if it suited him at the moment. It did not.
A noise registered on the teen's audio receptors and he turned around to glance down the hallway with scanner-like eyes. Nearly every movement he made sounded at least a bit robotic due to all of his mechanical enhancements and prosthetic limbs. Despite that Orfeo moved with an unnatural grace and fluid movements. The scientists must have done a wonderful job with the false limbs-- especially the legs.
"Hello?" he called down the hallway, voice sounding hollow. Meanwhile his scanner-like optics collected visual data on the girl many rooms down the hall. Brown hair, quiet voice, reserved posture, probably reluctant to socialize with others... Shy?

~Kyoko~ Kyoko looked up, not to a doctor, but to a girl. Another patient. There was a sound she ehard from far off in the corridor, someone speakign to nothing. Kyko puulle dwhat blankets she had over herself, she shook, shivvered, and sobbed.
'How pathetic I must look' she thought to heself, 'How dumb, how lifeless they must think me, because I do not speak.' It wasn't that Kyoko couldn't speak, it was that she chose not to. even in a situation when she would have to, at this point she wouldn't beable to bring herself to speak.
Kyoko looked up and pointed down to where she heard the person speak. She curled into ehrself and held fim onto her knees. Transparent like glass

REBECCA KANE You don't notice me.... Rebecca bit her lip as she heard the person move. They didn't reply though. "Please. If you want me to... I- I can come in. So it's more... more formal, I suppose. I mean.." she faltered off for a moment. "I know how." She admitted. It took one time of watching them open a cell, and now she would forever remember.
She turned quickly, shrinking a bit as she heard someone call out a hello. "U-uhm.." She was scared, was it a doctorl? Oh no. Oh no, now you've done it. Her hands shook and she quickly shoved them in her pockets. "Hello" she called out, biting her lip. "Uhm... Uh.." She didn't know what to say now. She just waited, figuring they would come up to her, she wouldn't need to say anything else... right? "How are you?" She tried. Dumb. You're so dumb! Rebecca wanted to smash her face into a wall, just to get it over with. How terrible could this be?
