The Minataur is a vicious monster that is half man, half bull. If you have read the first book of the Percy Jackson series, Percy fights the Minataur and trys saving his mother. He ended up stabbing the Minataur with one of its own horns but lost his mother as she dissinagrated to the Underworld. He was devastated until he saved his mother at the end of the book.
