"Eyes, look your last!
Arms, take your last embrace! and, lips, O you
The doors of breath, seal with a righteous kiss
A dateless bargain to engrossing death!"

-William Shakespeare, Romeo and Juliet, Act 5 Scene 3

The course of true love never did run smooth.
-William Shakespeare, A Midsummer Night's Dream, Act 1 Scene 1

Have you read any of Shakespeares plays? If so, which ones and what did you think of them?

Throughout the past few years in school, I've read:
♦The Taming of the Shrew
♦Romeo and Juliet
♦A Midsummer Night's Dream (currently)

I really loved Romeo and Juliet. I tought it was beautiful, but at the same time tradgic.

I love Taming of the Shrew--Kate and Petrucchio are so awesome. Hamlet, of course. Othello, Midsummer Night's Dream, The Tempest and Richard III.

I love the British Shakespearean actors like Derek Jacobi, Sir Ian McKellen, Dame Judi Dench and Alec Guinness--they bring Shakespeare's plays to life--although Lawrence Fishbourne did an amazing job as Othello.

My favourite Shakespeare play has to be Macbeth. It was amazing, both on stage and on paper.
