Ah the boys' club lol
Have you ever been in a football match that basically led to a full on school war lol. Well that's what happened with my school and our rivals. See we're the Crest Eagles and they're the Mount Lions and its a basic rivalry till that day man. The 28th of July 2007, no one in both schools at that time could forget.
It was the division finals and we had gotten down to a penalty shoot-out after a 1-1 tie. It was the last shoot for them and we were leading 5-4 ok so their defender shoots the ball and our keeper parries it. But it doesn't end there he hits the ball again after the save, it goes in and he thinks he scores. His team and school as foolish also think they've scored lol. So there's this quarrel, i dont want to go into details but there's bad mouthing and it turns to blows. There the war begins. Players, coaches, parents, students, evryone's fighting and quarreling. So i spot some Lion players trying to jack the trophy cos the ref aint looking so i get some of the boys and we start a tug of war for it literally. It was no joke, there were bottles, boots everything.
Well it all had to come down to the cops to keep the trophy and we suspended from the division tournament for a whole year by the school district but we came out with a victory in '08. It was sweeet but i guess none of you guys have experienced that huh lol.
