A long lonely stretch of road winds through a dense section of forest.
As i walked beneath the towering trees, i felt the warm rays of summer light pierce through the green canopy above. I continued on my journey to no particular destination where i saw two small children just up the road. A small boy with his older sister, they wore pink matching overalls, and the sister had frizzy black hair tied into pony tails with ribbon. Their skin was jet black, and they darted into the forest line and out of sight.
I walked over to where the children had gone in just in time to see them vanish in the dense trees.
Curious i followed them in. "Why are two small children out here by themselves?"
I walked a short ways and came to a clearing, it looked like something was hanging down in the center of it. As i approached it, i saw it was a noose. A noose was hanging in the middle of this forest. I glanced up and followed the length of the rope with my eyes before i spotted another one. Six more actually.
The sky began to darken as i looked at them.. There was something entrancing about them.. They swayed gently in the breeze and seemed to lower down towards me..
"Whos there??" Something was behind me.. I couldn't see what it was.. Rather then finding out i sprinted back to the road. I continued for a ways before finally getting to the wide open fields on the other side of the woods.
Up ahead i noticed the the grove of large boulders. I stared at them for a moment. Something felt off, the sky began to darken as low lying clouds formed within moment.
"You have to run"
I was startled to see the children right behind me. Staring up at me with a look of terror in their eyes.
"You have to run now.. He's coming"
"Who's coming"
"no time you have to run now, he's going to kill you"
"Its too late"
I turned slowly to see a dark figure standing near the grove of rocks. He slowly began to approach me.
Then there was black.
