that's it i had enough of this *kicks out the crate's door and runs before the alarms go off then takes to the air taking out his wings* waahooo!

Ace glanced nervously back as he and Flaire ran through the halls, "Flaire? You okay?" Flaire was lagging behind, dragging her right leg behind her. Gulping as the window came closer, Ace silently prayed that this window would break easier than the last one; absent-mindedly, he rubbed his bleeding arm, and frowned. "Why aren't they going after the others?" he grumbled, "Not like we're the only ones escaping. Poor Flaire, she's too young for this. "Get on my back. Now. " Slowing momentarily for her to get ajusted between Ace's wings. Yeah, that's right. Wings. Because of the crazy scientists who thought they should tamper with nature. "Fools." Ace cursed under his breath as he smashed through the glass, and unfurled his wings. Freedom, sweet, sweet freedom.

Ace stood solitary, a black shadow across the sunset, remembering the school, when a flood of darker memories bombarded him.
Pain, only unimaginable pain. Fire licked his insides, hungryly finishing off all it could find, and still begging for more. No, DEMANDING for more. Ace didn't think he could take another minute of this agony, but still he pushed, hoping for the light at the end of the tunnel. The white coat slipped another needle into his neck, as Ace screamed and writhed on his internal bed of flames. Bile churned in his stomach, threatening to make Ace throw up. Then came the tantalizing darkness, so cool and worry-free. "sit up." someone barked in Ace's ear, their breath rancid and hot. Looking into the scientist's reflective glasses, he grimaced.

His eyes, his blue eyes were black. Black. Black. The word resounded in his head, his blue eyes: gone. Replaced by these ugly black eyes. They weren't his, "Not mine." His mind whispered. "Stand!" The scientist barked out orders like a robot. Without question, he stood, he knew better than to pick a fight with them. Besides, it only meant they would be more fasinated with him. Ace grimaced, and looked down to see Flaire curled around his feet.

Ace smiled as he stared at Flaire's sleeping body. Snapping twigs snapped his head around, his eyes opened wide, and woke Flaire and crouched infront of her. Erasers stalked out of the woods, grinning maliciously; "Aaace, come out and play." The Eraser pounced and changed to a wolf. Opening its mouth, it exposed sharp white teeth.

"Crap!" Ace motioned for Flaire to run. "Uh-uh!" An Eraser grunted, pouncing on her, "You're coming back, with or without a fight!" The Eraser smashed her head into the ground, knocking her out cold, then slinging her over his shoulder like a fireman. The others quickly pinned Ace to the ground and smashed his head into the ground as well. "Easy. Didn't even need this many." An Eraser grinned, then everything was black.

Through the window still sitting in her dog crate Serenity saw the stars dotting the dark night sky. The sparkling stars gave her hope as her black wings pressed tightly against her back. She heard the lab doors open and her eyes darted forward peeking out of the bars. "Just need to check and make sure everyone is present" A scientists voice broke through the beautiful silence. " She watched silently as he peeked through crates checking the boxes next to numbers as he went. When he came to Serenity's her eyes closed instantly, pretending to sleep. When the scientist left and the lights were turned off, Serenity knew there was no turning back.

Serenity carefully used her powers and the cage door unlatched. "Thank you teliknisis" She whispered to herself crawling out of the dog crate she walked over to locked window. She felt around trying to find the lock but it unlocked from the outside. "Drat" She mutterd looking for the lock on the outside. When she found it she concentrated and it swung unlocked. Serenity eased it open pushing it fully open. As she sensed the silent alarm go off she jumped into the night air, unfurling her sleek black wings she took off away from the school and she hoped never to return again.

It was beautiful! The wind blowing back her hair as she flew through the sky. Opening her closed eyes she looked around at the stars that she flew under, her eyes reflected them. She gladly pushed harder getting farther from the school.

Serenity found a cave to rest in, flying down and landing on the top of it she checked to make sure no one else was using it. She walked in going all the way into the back of the cave, hoping not to be found by Erasers. As she hid further into the shadows she heard the thrum of a helicopter propeller as it took to the sky.

Alex got dragged in by two erasers. They threw her into a cage. Alex swore at the erasers. They just laghed at her and left.

Serenity woke early, the sun not even making its ascent. She looks outside the cave then jumps out opening her wings.
