I have been dealing with the death of my grandmother and a trip to Florida to tell my aunt about my grandmother. My aunt had a stroke back in December, and has only recently been able to deal with such news. It has been a very hectic year already.

Lately, we have been sorting through my grandmother's things (she had a lot more than we thought could possibly fit into her house) three days a week. It has been a slow process, but we have made a lot of progress, so that is helpful.
The last week or so, i have been scanning and uploading old family pictures. These range in date from the late 1800s to December of 2009. Of course, MOST of those are from 1926 (when my grandmother was born) until 2009, but it is good to see some of the older pictures.

Hey All!
I'm popping in to say hello.
This is turning out to be a busy summer. My daughter (poppingdillo) is working on her driver's license. I seem to spend my time helping her work on this while taking her across town to see her boyfriend.
My son just had all four of his wisdom teeth removed. I have been full time mommy helping him through this. He is getting better. Our project for the summer is to watch all the episodes of Stargate Atlantis. Great fun!

I kept saying I was going to try to watch an episode of Stargate Atlantis to see if I liked it, but I never did watch any of them. sad
