Hey Gaians,

I'm looking to start a new collaborative writing project over the summer. I want to turn it into a novel, but the idea needs to be play tested first, just to make sure that it works right. The issue is, I know the characters and what I want the story to turn into, I just want to make sure the path has a logical progression.

What I need are three playtesters, two guys and one girl, to run this story through with me. I'll provide character skeletons, it's up to you to fill the character out how you'd imagine them. This whole project will be done via e-mail, so if one of the below characters interests you, e-mail me and we'll set things up.

I'm a bit of a grammar nazi, so if you don't type correctly, don't bother. If this goes novel, you'll get a mention and a small royalty stipend, but that would be a helluva long way away. Here are my requirements for the writers

Basic Story:
Two guys and a girl from the same school get sucked through a portal from our world of TV, brand names, and technology into a fantasy kingdom of magic, brute strength, and oppression. Our heroes find themselves on a seemingly impossible quest to save this world, then find a way back to theirs. (Other than that description, the world is yours to mold. I will only act as the NPC's and the narrator who pushes the story along.)

REQUIREMENTS:
Able to reply at least once per day over the next 3-4 months (maybe more if it takes that long)
Able to maturely deal with mature content
Good writing and grammar (I don't want to edit your posts...)
Looking for an amazing time writing and making at least 3 new friends.

CHARACTERS:
Male1: Athletic, jock type. Fairly book-smart, but oblivious to the world outside of his Varsity jacket lifestyle. Straight-edge, except for sex (I mean...he is a teenager afterall). Great leader, but does not cope with stress well. Other minor character flaws I only want the writer to know.

Male2: Skinny, anti-social, rocker type. Enjoys hanging with his friends, but when someone new tries to enter their circle, they are shunned. Plays his guitar and roleplaying games (D&D, etc...) with his friends. Does drugs, but hides it from parents and step-brother (Male1). Other minor character flaws I only want the writer to know.

Female1: Very book-smart. Straight-edge, all the way, but thoroughly messed up childhood. Seems normal to everyone else and is liked, but doesn't go seeking their attention. (Think, like, Velma from Scooby-Doo personality wise) Other minor character flaws I only want the writer to know.
