When I was in fourth grade, we had to write a paragraph about our favorite place in the world using sensory description. I wrote about the stream that runs through my grandmother's farm, on the basis that I needed to write about something and I had been there recently enough to describe the memory in vivid detail.
So, what are your favorite places in New York? There can be more than one.

Wow Favorite places....so many so lets try to name a few. Yeah I like some of the ones mentioned already like the botanical gardens, the Met/Moma/MoNH and central park. What else...I love china town, times square and Mid town manhatten. Although Times Square and Midtown/Uptown manhatten i love during the night. Why? Ill take a line from my Intro to here. OWA My perfect vision of NY is when it rains out at like 1 or 2 am, and your out in Manhatten around times square or china town, and its STILL jumping like no one cares, because no one does! Life goes on just as fast, hard and fun as always and when I see it, it makes me feel alive deep down. For me its hard to beat seeing what makes normal people run indoors, here not matter. Clubs still goin, stores still open plus the rain makes things shinier! All the lights are now all the more noticable cause they reflect off the street and everything else 3nodding Other then that the lesser places are like...I love just hanging out at the handball courts and chillin with my friends, coney island is fun in the summer... Cant think of anything else right now XD

During the spring, I like to stay in the city after school and go to Time Square. I feel like a tourist every time I go, but I'm just so amazed at how it's NEVER dark there. Williamsburg will always be my favorite, though.

Times Square and Herald Square are two of my favorite areas of NYC. The hustle and bustle can get rather annoying, but it's also electrifying. And you can find just about everything you want there.
One of my favorite places to relax is the Atrium on 57th Street, between 5th and Madison. I don't get there nearly often enough for my liking, but the atmosphere there is just so calming. The bamboo is rather nice, and sometimes they have funky artwork too. ^^

God, there are...quite a few. OOhhhh, the library in downtown Rochester is flippin' sweet. heart
Euhm, the IMAX theater, Eastview Mall, the drivein movies, Times Square, my house?
Haha, I really don't know. sweatdrop I've been to so many places in NY, and yet...most of them aren't anything really big or anything, ya know? Just...stuff I love and am used to. ^^

I tend to like Coney Island beach at the night time. It's quiet(unless it's summer and you are near the park)so the waves are the only thing you hear, the salt water smell is always refreshing and its always fun to just sit in a lifeguard chair. That has to be my fave spot.
