With the Arizona immigration law in headlines recently and the debate over illegal immigrants being pulled to the forefront, what is your stand on illegal immigration? Are you for or against it? What are your reasons behind your opinion?

Does that mean you're not prepared to share you stand? That's fine if so.
My opinion is that I'm for this law. I am definitely against police pulling over just because they're Mexican, but that's against the law anyway. The fact is, when you're pulled over, EVER, you're asked for your ID and registration anyway. I had thought that it would be a good idea to get ID from people that come in to the hospital and if they're illegal then they can be 'tagged.' I honestly think that being illegal can be remedied and there's no reason for remaining illegal other than to avoid taxes which would make this NOT a free country. That's one of the points against this law, is that 'this is a free country' and granted it's a place for lots of opportunity, the fact that there are people out there uncounted for and not paying taxes, that makes it free for them (wrongly) and those of us who are legal are paying for that. I don't like people who abuse the government (mainly things like unemployment - things that are helpful to those who need it but often abused by those who take advantage of it), and this is a clear example of abuse. It's not abusing government, it's abusing the rest of legal Americans.
I mixed up a lot of stuff in this explanation but I will break it down if people wanna take it apart and debate this.

I am completely against illegal immigrants, mostly beucase it feels like they want the money but not to have to pay like other people do. They want a home, but not the bills. They want to live in 'freedom' with out the prices. Incase they don't know or haven't noticed...the government is slowly turning it's ways to communism or something.
I am however all for those mexicans...hell everyone from any country that don't try to beat the system.

I kind of think that those children who are born here from parents who are illegals should still be allowed to be considered Americans but that if their parents are found out to be illegals, they'll need to be sent home to their countries with the family. Seems complicated.
Anyone else wanna put in your 2-cents before I move this to the sub-forum?
