Character Profile:

Shinichi was born of a rarity; nothing else like him has been seen in existence. His father was an angel and his mother a mermaid. They had a romance that was forbidden and thus he was conceived. His grandfather was bitter towards him and disowned the child from his family. His mother kept him hidden as she raised him, but her father soon found out and lashed out at the teen. He had gotten his scars from that encounter. Many of the merfolk out casted him, leaving him on the edges of their city to rot alone. Through it all, Shinichi managed to keep a hold of his happiness, but due to the lack of contact, he held onto most of his childish tendencies.

He had been raised on his own for such a long time and didn’t understand what was so wrong with him that made his own people hate him. His mother would visit him in secret and one day came with a gift from his father. It was an angelic staff, symbolise of what he was. His mother had told him that on the day of the battle where the overseer and the demon woman began, she was to give him this staff. All of the seafolk raised up to aid the overseer, and so did Shin. He was there to aid those who wanted, but was still shunned by his people. He had met a man he liked along the way, harboring feelings for this person, but they soon turned him away when he showed interest.

Holding tight to his happiness was hard after that point and his tendencies soon became more mature than child like. When the war was over and peace was restored, he was still out casted. Alone and craving for some sort of contact and some place to live and be accepted, he left the underwater city and headed to an island to make a new, bright future.

Well, this does indeed look VERY interesting!

Panda filled me in, and I'm just trying right now to figure something out for him, but I told Panda that I wouldn't start until this first event thing was over, it wouldn't seem right to jump in near the end, I'd be so lost. :] I just can't wait to RP with some of you, but I must until this event is over.
