Drug Free Policy

There will be no smoking, drugs, anything of the sort in school buildings. Outside of school buildings, however, is free game for smokers. Also, do not throw your butts in the mulch, grass, or anywhere that is not a conveniently-placed ashtray. If I catch anyone using/selling/marketing/trading illegal drugs, they will be expelled.

School hours

Students begin class at 8:00 PM and are expected to stay for the entire duration of each class they attend. Students then have a 2 hour break. They can do whatever they please in this given time, then are expected to be in their rooms by 6:00 AM. Lights out is at 7:00 AM.

Leaving Campus

For their own safety, freshman at the Vampire Academy will not be allowed to leave campus unless with a Senior student or with a teacher. Sophomores, Juniors, and Seniors are allowed to leave campus during the two hour break given after signing out and alerting a teacher as to where they are going. Sophomores and Juniors are limited to a mile off of campus and Chanastville. Seniors are limited to 3 miles off campus and Chanastville. Only Seniors are allowed into the mortal realm, and only when accompanied by a teacher.

Student Attendance

Vampire Academy feels student attendance is very important, as students benefit from school and learn the meaning of responsibility. Even the most capable student cannot learn if he or she is not in class. Students with a less than 80% attendance rate may not be promoted to the next grade unless a reasonable excuse is given and proper test have been taken. If you are going to be absent for any reason that is not an accident, please make sure your teachers know.

Reporting Absences

If you know you are going to be missing class, please make sure all teachers know by 8:00 PM, as per starting hours. If this is not possible, make sure you bring a note in to all teachers with documented evidence of reason for absence. Students are expected to make up all work missed during absence.

Tardiness

If a student is tardy for class, it is the teacher's job to put into place reasonable disciplinary actions. If it's not my class, it's not my problem. If a student has multiple tardies for one or more classes, it will be my problem, and then said student will have to deal with me.

Medication & Medical Attention

If for any reason, a student is in need of medication, it will be supplied by out in-school pharmacy. Should a medical emergency arise involving one or more students, they will immediately be taken to our on-campus hospital for further treatment. Said student or students, once released, are required to fill out an incident form detailing the accident and treatment given.

Monthly Credits

Each student is given 200 (and ONLY 200) credits a month to spend on necessary... things... they feel they need. May that be clothes, food, music, blah blah blah... if you feel you need it, then go ahead and buy it. But you only have 200 credits a month, so spend wisely.
