Name: Xohasij Bloodwing Age: 416 Clan name: L'ramie Clan symbol:  Vampiric Affinity: Sorrow Soul animal (Animal you can morph into besides wolf and bat):  Bio: Born in 1594 in Japan, Xohasij was born into a powerful clan, and when he came of age when he was 50, he inherited the clan, and the power that came with it. But unlike other clan leaders, Xohasij was a benevolent, kind ruler, winning the hearts of his clan members. However, Xohasij never married, never had children by blood. Instead, he chose to adopt his children by turning them. He considered all of his clan members his children, and treated them as such; with love and tenderness, with a bit of firmness thrown into the mix. By the time the 1700s rolled around, his clan had increased from 100 to 1500 clan members. At this time, Xohasij's clan affinity was Joy. But when the Vampire/Lycan war came in 1750, in the course of 250 years, Xohasij's clan was completely wiped out. In his pain, he changed his clan's affinity to sorrow. In 2001, he began the building of the Vampire Academy, but it wasn't until 2005 that he extended the invitation to other vampire clan members to join his school. Having so many vampires around reminds him of his clan, and it not only causes him sorrow, but great joy, knowing he can protect the young vampires here in a way he couldn't do with his own clan. He has yet to increase the size of his clan again, perhaps out of fear of losing them again. Also, no one knows where Xohasij's clan symbol is on his body. Name: Sybil Morganthe Age:110 Clan Name: Su-Mayah Clan Symbol:  Vampiric Affinity: Pride Soul animal (Animal you can morph into besides wolf and bat):  Bio: Sybil was born into the Su-Mayah clan in 1990. The Su-Mayah clan at this time only consisted of 50 members, having lost many in the Vampire/Lycan war. Sybil was not considered special until it was discovered she had the ability to sprout wings, and not just any wings. Her wings are a mix of feathers on top and along the edges and leather on the bottom. To have wings as a vampire is considered good luck, but to have a mix of leather and feathers is considered to be a blessing from the maker, a good omen. Sybil can switch from all feathers to a mix to all leather at will. For 90 years, she was kept under strict watch, the Su-Mayah clan not wanting to lose the best thing that had happened to them in years. After much debate, it was finally agreed she would be allowed to attend the Vampire Academy. She is a little naive about the world around her, but she doesn't show it. She used to think very highly of herself, having been born with such a special trait. She was quickly knocked off her pedestal by a vampire of higher power. Since then, she has been very humble. Her clan symbol is on her left hip, usually hidden by her clothes. Name: Alexander Age: 18 (well 300 ish ) Clan Name: Vonruich Clan Symbol:  Vampiric Affinity: Trust Soul animal (Animal you can morph into besides wolf and bat): (couldn't find on photobucket) http://www.colormewild.com/satougaki/Cerberus.jpgBio: Alexander was born in 1890's , changed to a vampire somewhere in the late 1908 range. His clan considers time as nothing more than mere numbers to count the years that go by. They have only 25 members, keeping to themselves so that their kin are not known by the humans that had lived in the area. They all have their own different since of trust, and are strong willed, and can be affectionate. However, Alexander is a bit playful, but serious when the time needs to be. They had changed Alexander when the found him nearly dead during a plauge in Brittain. He shows a bit of reluctance to being part of the immortal world, and has tried to save himself from being condemed to hell, but has almost given up all faith. And now he joins the school to find a refuge from his clan, who currently has other things to deal with that he doesn't want to be in. The symbol of his clan was branded into his left breast, right under the collar bone. And he has been part of many wars that that his clan has been involved in, and one or two while he was human. Unlike normal vampires who seem to have perfect skin he does not, scarred from battles, but still silky soft like the rest of the kin. He's become a pacifist over the years so he can keep himself out of trouble, but some how he gets pulled into fights. He assumes it's his playful nature, and how he was brought up to show that even though his clan may be low in numbers they still are here to help those in need. Name: Raven Von Absinthe Age: 322 Clan Name: Syrack Clan Symbol:  Vampiric Affinity: Love Soul animal (Animal you can morph into besides wolf and bat):  Bio: Raven grew up in Germany, she was a poor farm girl with very little money. At the age of twenty she moved of from her parents house, she made her way to France, on her way there she met a man in dark clothing, he promised her many things if she would go with him. Later that night, she was a vampire. She did get the many things he promised. She spent most of her immortal life studing other languages and morphing. When her 'mate' was killed by humans she moved and put an application to the acadamy. She teaches the classes of morphing. Name: Aurora Blanc Age: 279 Clan Name: Da'Zi Clan Symbol:  Vampiric Affinity: Joy Soul animal (Animal you can morph into besides wolf and bat):  Bio: Unlike most vampires at the Vampire Academy, Aurora was not born into her clan. She was turned at the age of 21 after death almost claimed her by means of illness. She would have died for sure if it hadn't been for a random member of the Da'Zi clan who happened to be passing through at the time. The man then blood-adopted Aurora and treated her as his daughter, teaching her many things about the vampire world. Aurora has studied the history of vampires extensively and has become a teacher at the Vampire Academy. At first, she was ridiculed because she was not a true-born vampire. But her tenderness and natural ability to make those around her happy quickly won the hearts of everyone. Members of the Da'Zi clan refuse to drink human blood, instead choosing to live among them in disguise as healers and doctors. Aurora's symbol is located in the palm of her right hand. Name: Violet Engel Age: Appears 15 Clan Name: Antrelui Clan Symbol:  Vampiric Affinity: ?? Soul animal: (Fire and Ice Pheonix)   Bio: Violet has never had a happy life, even in her human years. When she was human and reached about age 9 her family burned to death in a house fire, while she managed to escape and was sent to an orphanage. She never had any real friends although she did have strong connections with any animal. At the age of 15 she was sick and tired of the echoes of her families dying screams, and the world never accepting her so she slits her wrists one night and waits to die. Right before she falls unconscious she sees a shadow appear, then wakes as a vampire and part of the Antrelui clan. As punishment for being a stupid human and not facing life like everyone else has to, the clan symbol was burned onto both of her wrists instead of on the lower back like everyone else in her clan. She can change her appearance to look like what ever she wants.Shes quiet and keeps to herself, shy, compassionate, depressed, and ect. Bio: Dark was a young man living in America. He was on a family trip to Scotland with his family when they were attacked by the Elda clan in their own hotel room. He is new to being a vampire; it has only been 5 years since he was bit. He hated what he had become so he ran away from his (which according to clan rules you are not allowed to be part of the ‘activates’ until your 20 year) So now he roams around insearch of the worlds most beauitful woman.
