Personality: It's all about sweets and arcade games, with Devi. Pretty happy-go-lucky, which suits and amplifies Stir's personality.
Appearance: Short ginger hair, freckled face, always wears a shabby baseball cap turned to the side and an old flower handkerchief as a bandanna. Whatever you do, don't diss the bandanna.
Likes: Arcade games, icecream, Stir. Insects and outer space.
Dislikes: Libraries, books, sitting still.
Strengths: Pacman never saw it coming. Devi has an intense and surprising optimism which, seemingly, never fails. He only found that optimism when Stir found him, though.
Weaknesses: Doesn't respond well to negativity, will sometimes storm off if he finds someone being "unreasonable".

Nicknames: N/A
Age: ???
Personality: Exuberant, optimistic, ready to play.
Likes: Chasing birds, playing in the mud, swimming, chew toys, new friends.
Dislikes: Arguing, aluminum foil, trains, being scolded.
Strengths: Loving, determined and loyal. Can cheer people up or cheer them on with very little effort. Her buoyancy just seeps into others.
Weaknesses: Loves cheese to a fault! Very incoherent and scatterbrained, short memory.
Favourite Food: Cheeses of all kinds
Favourite dessert: Mango cake
Favourite colour: Every colour
Family: Fawkes, the little boy who looks after Stir. Fawkes' mother and father, and his older sister, are also part of Stir's chaotic, but loving, family.

Roiben and Desper's owner, the sincere musician.Name: Aislinn Grey
Nicknames: Sugar, Pisk (short for piskie, or pixie), Ash. A lot of people will call her by her last name.
Age: 20
Personality: Believes there must be a balance in all things. She is often slow to react or respond, but when she does respond she has thought about it a great deal. Forgiving, gentle but firm. Sincere in everything she does, which sometimes makes her come off as too intense or cruel.
Appearance: Blind in one eye, long, braided black hair with a little shot of blond near the back of her skull, under the black, due to a birth mark on her scalp. Hardly ever wears makeup, except for a little white eyeshadow. Very fond of a honey-flavoured, honey-scented powder, which she brushes on her neck and across her collar bones onto her shoulders. Often wears jeans, light blouses, vests. Stern expression, but full lips. Her good eye is green, like Desper's.
Likes: Roiben and Desper, and playing the violin, above all. Also enjoys haiku and fantasy novels, as well as boating.
Dislikes: Insects, burnt food, unpleasant music, conversation with no value.
Strengths: Incredibly skilled with the violin. Rarely shies away from a task at hand. Persistent and valiant.
Weaknesses: Often divided between two paths. Indecisive, fleeting. Naps a lot, because she gets tired easily.

Personality: Peaceful and very alert. Observes everything but seldom does something about it.
Likes: All kinds of instruments, a nice breeze, sprinklers.
Dislikes: Conflict, bad music, burnt food.
Strengths: Incredible memory, can howl and woof with musical measures. Grey calls him her little Orpheus because she thinks that even though he's a dog, he's the best singer she has ever heard. Sometimes she feels as though he actually knows what he's doing.
Weaknesses: Takes a lot of motivation for him to get excited about anything but the things that interest him most. Loyal to a fault.
Favourite Food: Fresh salmon! Raw or cooked. Hates the skins.
Favourite dessert: Vanilla pudding with cherries.
Favourite colour: Opalescent white.
Family: Regardless of whether or not he is actually related to Grey and Desper, they are his only known family.

Nicknames: Desper
Age: ???
Personality: Extremely hands-on, knee-deep in everything that even remotely interests him.
Likes: Being creepy, scary stories, leather, chasing rabbits. Secretly likes Grey's violin playing. Windchimes.
Dislikes: Silence, fish, being told "No", snobby people. Small dogs, especially ones in fluffy coats or sweaters. Laughs at the little booties.
Strengths: Physically quite powerful and aggressive. Very light on his feet if he flaps his wings while jumping (he can't fly, but they work to sort of slow him). Never backs down.
Weaknesses: Is easy to dislike due to his rowdy nature. Doesn't always know when enough is enough.
Favourite Food: Raw rabbit.
Favourite dessert: Raw rabbit. Or, okay, lemon mousse cake, though he doesn't know why.
Favourite colour: Velvet black.
