It was much more violent than the advertisements led me to believe. >.>
But it was awesome.

yeah i noticed that also but jesus , it was just brutal at so many parts, but..it just..worked

I'm going to be useless to this conversation and agree to everything that's been said; More violent than in commercials, but still BA and the violence worked for the film.
It didn't seem just there for the violence (okay, maybe somewhat), but I mean that I felt they actually thoroughly thought through the brutal scenes to make the movie better, not just to fill this 2 minute time slot with action and that 3 minute time slot with explosives and gore. They were there, but they had a purpose to the plot and the movie outside of making it cinematicaly appealing. I don't know if I'm explaining my view eloquently enough or if I'm just babbling like a brook here.

no what your saying makes complete sense and i agree, they were human, fully and it showed. They had limits, and problems and real life things to deal with, they couldnt just do things like a super human...i think that added alot to it.
