using a scying tool (black mirror, crsytal ball or even a bowl of water)

light a single white candle and take a moment to center yourself and clear your mind.

Gaze into your scying object and chant 3 times "Candle, candle burning bright. Bring my past life into my site."

relax quietly and let the vision come to you, do not force it.

After done record your result in your magickal journal (or book of shadows).

You may have to do this a few times before it works for you, but don't force anything, it will come to you when it is ready to come.
