The Enchantress otherwise known as the witch. Is either a tall really beautiful ethereal being, or an old sickly hag. Enchantresses don't like to be played or made fun. They take kindness for granted, and will curse anyone who doesn't show this simple gesture. A famous Enchantress is from the faery-tale: Beauty and the Beast! Your job for this week is to find out anything about Enchantresses.

I am leaving this up for another week! Please post something! I know you all can at least come up with something about enchantresses, just think of them as witches!

Enchantresses and witches are very different creatures though. An Enchantress is closer to a magician than a witch and they rely heavily on their appearance, glamours and illusion spells.

A noted Enchantress was Circe, also known as Kirke, who lived on the island Aeaea and who - in Homer's Odyssey - transformed Odysseus' crew into animals. (Specifically pigs, I think.)
