What's up, fellow basketball fans!

I'm sure you know what this anime show is all about.

It's one of the most realistic anime/manga created and not overly exaggerated.

Anyways, anyone of you watches Slam Dunk!? It's part of my childhood and one of my major influences on basketball other than Micheal Jordan.

For those who haven't seen it yet, watch it and I'm sure your going to get the same feeling that I had.

LMAO that is the show that got me into basketball as well. My favorite was the three-point specialist, Mitsui. biggrin

Oh, and that guy from Ryonan is pretty good too. One of the best animes I've ever seen.

All guy fans of the show like Mitsui, while the girl fans likes Rukawa.

You mean Sendoh? That guy is my favorite. X3 Remind me so much of Penny Hardaway and Dwyane Wade.

Did you see the reference in their Jerseys?

Haha, nah. Michael was great - but I wasn't really a Jordan fan back then. Duncan will always be the first and favorite player.

Wow, I knew about the references, but didn't know about the Celtics or the Jazz.. I always knew that Shohoku was the Bulls somehow. Dang. Must've missed it, but then again, I was too young.

Time to time I still watch some episodes.. the opening song is still kickass. Ryoku is one of my favorites as well, reminds me of Tony Parker.
