I wasn't at home to say goodbye to her, but in the morning, I did hold her and kiss her before I left the house, I never imagined that at night at exactly midnight that she'd pass away. My brother was there and stayed up and stroked her. I'm really thankful to my brother.
She died peacefully in her sleep, I've always wanted my dwarf hamsters to die that way because my previous ones have died from tumours, etc.
I have to keep telling myself that it was her time, and that she wasn't in pain. She died peacefully in her sleep. It's still hard though because whenever one of my pets die, I feel very lonely, sick, and the tears won't stop running down my cheeks.
I hope to bury her in my grandad's backyard with my previous dwarf hamsters.

that's so sad.
private pet cemeteries are also sad but in a kind of sweet way; i feel bad about moving away so now mine is ten hours distant.

I've been told that everything that has a beginning has an end, though personnally I'm more inclined to believe that our memories grant some level of immortality to that which we have lost...

chessiejo that's so sad. private pet cemeteries are also sad but in a kind of sweet way; i feel bad about moving away so now mine is ten hours distant. We cremated my dog, i got her when i was one and had her till my senior year of hs. I would hate to move and be very far from her.

Just an update to say that Snowy has now been buried in my gran and grandad's backyard where all the rest of my dwarf hamsters had been buried.
