So I have a question!~

What is the correct way to store liquid honey? I'm talking about the stuff in the squeeze bottle that is see through. XD
I keep it in a dark cupboard and it always seems to get cloudy and really thick.. too thick to squeeze out.
I've tried keeping the bottle upside down when it happens so I don't have to waste half a bottle when it happens.. but it gets too thick to squeeze and half of it stays at the bottom of the bottle.. even with being upside down for weeks!
So what am I doing wrong? D;
I hate having to waste honey.. and I'm not a fan of brown or white sugar for my green tea.
Picture of the honey container so you know what I'm talking about!~

Where are you storing it? In the fridge in a cupboard, some place else?

Dark cupboard and it's not pasteurized if that helps. ;p

un-pasteurized will do that then. I have some in a glass jar, and it's the same way. You have to stir it a bit, lightly warm it before putting it on/with what ever you need it for.

The trick with honey, whether or not it's pasteurized, is to keep it moving. If you haven't picked up the bottle in a week or two, do so. Turn it over, turn it around, move the liquid so that it can resist crystallization better.

If you've got a bottle of honey that has crystalized partly or fully, you can either put that bottle in a bath of warm water until the honey thins a bit, or add warm water directly to the bottle and swish it around till it dissolves.

Either way, don't throw it out. Honey is the one food that doesn't spoil. Archaeologists have found stores of honey upwards of 5,000 years old that is crystalized, but when dissolved with heat and/or water, still edible.

Thanks you guys for the ideas!
I did the microwave thing a couple times but it warped the bottle so now I'll try adding some hot water! ;D

I really hate wasting food so hopefully I can use up this bottle, get a new one and 'keep it active' so to speak anyways!~

Be careful about microwaving. The contains may not be made for that, like your bottle.
