star fox started on the super nes as the first consol game EVER to feature 3D gameplay... the furry characters came when they could not agree on a realistic character set... star fox 2 was made but not released, only a few people have ever got there hands on it.
star fox 64 was the first game to feature the rumble feature for console controllers, and (i think) was the first 3D 4-player game ever made. star fox adventures was the last game made for nintendo by rare, the original idea was not about star fox, but they realised it would work and slid in the characters. star fox assault came a few years afterwords, becoming the first star fox game to feature on-ground shooter action, star fox adventures fell short from star fox in terms of action, star fox assault is all about loading up your guns and blowing away your enemies, but this makes up for the shortness of the game, not to mention the really great multiplayer action. star fox command came a few years after as the first, and meybe the only, star fox game for the DS... this game featured download play action and a great system where you decide what to do, changing the story of the game entirely! *gasp* lol... star fox fans are anticipating on star fox wii, which has not been announced and still might not be (ill destroy you shagre myemoto if you dont make it!)
and so concludes the history and significance of star fox!
what is your favorite star fox game so far? post and let me know!
also, my fav is assault.
