I keep having the same strange nightmare, but its almost like theres three versions of it... If that makes sense. But no matter what happens, theres always two young children with big black holes for eyes, and my best friend and/or I always get shot and killed. Then last night I had a dream that seemed to tie into it... I was bleeding from my eyes, but I didnt actually have eyes... I just had two black holes where my eyes should be. Help?

The black hole eyes (for me) would represent emptiness/emotionless and the shooting represents being threatened or attacked.
I do have a few questions that might help with the interpretation.
- Do you know the two children?
- How do you feel when you see them?
- Does anyone notice when you or your friend get shot?
- Who shot you/ your friend? Do you know them?

I do not know the children, I feel confused/upset when I see them, I'd imagine only the little kids notice we get shot because theyre the only other ones there, and I have no idea who he is. He seems familiar in a I-should-know-you kinda way, but I dont know him.

I have a few suggestions of meanings, have a look at them and see if any feel right. It might even be a mixture of all the meanings I suggest or none of them.
What I get from what you've said so far is that,
1. You feel threatened but nobody seems to notice, You feel as if your friend is the only one there for you. Strangers that do notice tend to stand to the side and watch.
2. People who meet you look at your appearance and judge you on that rather than who you are as a person.
3. You are looking for something (on an emotional level rather than a physical object), as you get deeper into the meaning something gets in the way and you have to start over again in the search.
