Greetings ninjas! Masamune Syaoran's here to hit you with some knowledge! Here at Gaioh, we have a few rules you'll need to follow, because we like to run a really tight ship. This helps to ensure fairness and order, so the guild stays fun and everyone has a good time.
The following rules are general guidelines as to how we expect our members to conduct themselves in the guild. These rules are important as they keep the guild running smoothly. The crew will have an eye out for rulebreakers (though we like to think we're fair), so try to toe the line wherever you can.
Gaioh OOC Rules:
-Follow the Gaia ToS
-Keep all OOC in the proper venue
-Take all administrative questions/suggestions to the Captain's Quarter.
-All non-administrative threads belong in their proper subforums
-Only crew may create threads in the following subforums: Main, New Member/profiles, Newspaper, Academy, History, Arena Archive, Pending
-Bring all conflicts to a crew member's attention Immediately. Do Not flame, fight, troll, etc.
-Keep all RPing in its place.
-Ranking Tournaments and Story events to be decided upon and officiated by crew.
-Crew Discussions to be held in Captains's quarter or over PM
-Rules violations are punishable by:
1st offense: Warning
2nd similar offense: Triangle of Shame
Subsequent offenses: Shame Triangle or ban
-Don't Hesitate to voice an opinion. We thrive on constructive criticism
The next batch of rules is specific to the roleplay setting in our guild. We set these up so nobody has an unfair advantage over anyone else, thus keeping things exciting and fun. Though it seems strict at first, We think you'll come to see how it enriches the Roleplay experience.
Gaioh RP Rules:
-No godmodding, metagaming, etc.
-Semi-lit to literate. No using "* *" or "- -" for actions
-Use (( )) or [[ ]] for OOC comments.
-Keep OOC comments brief, preferably less than one paragraph.
-No PK-ing without consent
-All new characters begin at Genin/Donin rank.
-Be mindful of your rank and don't overstep your limitations.
-Keep all content PG-13 or below.
-No canon characters, bloodlines, or signature moves
-No demons or cursed seals (except a few grandfathered exceptions like Kashin/Siryu or Chaos)
-No inhuman characters (except neko/kitsune)
-No missing-nin, Akatsuki-like, or otherwise villainous characters without admin permission.
-RP in third-person perspcective.
-Make sure all your profiles are accepted before RPing with them. Likewise be sure to post your (approved) profile right away.
-Don't RP in two threads of the same subforum at the same time. (relative)
-No giant summons
-No kinjutsu without approval (ANBU are considered approved)
-No W.M.D jutsu
-Spend time in the hospital after mission or event battles
-For jutsu creation help, consult a crew member.
-In tournaments, if a combatant does not post for 7 days, he/she is forfeit.
