Dunixi: *bounces and hums with his eyes closed, ramming head on into Loopy's hind leg* Whoops!
Loopy: -yelps and jumps sideway- -frowns lightly- You're getting to be a bit too big to go running into people. -nudges-
Dunixi: Oh, Loopy! Heh, I wasn't looking where I was going, sorry. ^^ I was just taking a lil break from Vervain's lessons~
Loopy: Oh? How are those going for you? -forces a smile-
Dunixi: Pretty good! He gave me this awesome necklace because I finished a buncha lessons *shows off his badger-tooth necklace* 8D
Loopy: -examines the necklace- It's pretty cool. -pauses and seems to consider something- So you two get along pretty well, hm?
Dunixi: Uh huh! He's like, the awesomest dude I ever met! *bounces in circles* And and and.. he like protects me from bad stuff and stuff! He's awesome <3
Loopy: That's cool. And he still lets you goof off some too, right? He takes care of you?
Dunixi: Uuuhh.... Well one time he went to help me find a gift for my sick friend Sommer, does that count?
Loopy: He did? That was sweet of him. -frowns- So he's not really as bad as he looks, is he?
Dunixi: Nuh uh! Everyone always calls him the mean-face herla, but they just .... they just don't understand I guess. Dad- O////O I, I mean, Vervain told me not to judge a person based on what they look like.
Loopy: -smiles at Dunixi's slip- That's good advice. But if you remember, Vervain can be pretty mean too. So you can't blame some people for not trusting him.
Dunixi: *paws at the dirt* The only times he gets mean is when... he's like.. protecting me or something... I think he's just misunderstood.
Loopy: Or when he's trying to prove a point? If you remember, I wasn't doing anything when he kicked me. -frowns lightly- But you're right. He's probably misunderstood, but he also doesn't try to make it easy for people to see the real him.
Dunixi: Well... *paws more* Yeah... But you were trying to take me away from him as his student, 'member? I think he didn't want you to do that or something. But I'm sorry he did that. That wasn't awesome.
Loopy: -nudges- It's okay. I just... Well, don't become totally like him. Okay? It's good that he's teaching you things and good that he cares about you. It is. It's... -kicks a rock lightly and glances down- It's not easy growing up alone. Just remember that you don't have to be mean to be respected. Okay?
Dunixi: *giggles* Don't worry Loopy! I don't think I've ever hurt anyone before! Besides... *puffs out his chest and poses* Imma be the god of everything!
Loopy: Yeah, you've told me. -frowns- But you know... Some people may not like that much.
Dunixi: What? D8 What do you mean?! If I'm the god of everything, they ... they .... *totally threw him off guard on that one*
Loopy: -nudges lightly- If you go around saying how you're the god of everything, people might start thinking that you want to be better than them. They'll think that if you're a god that you look down on them.
Dunixi: *blinks* But... but that's.. *tilts his head* Huh? Dx
Loopy: Well think of it this way. If I went around bragging about how I was a god and you weren't, would that make you sad?
Dunixi: *scrunches his face up, thinking hard* ... No..... ?
Loopy: -frowns lightly- Well what if I got in your face and told you that /I/ was a better hunter and would /always/ be better than you?
Dunixi: *wags his tail, a big grin stretching across his face* I'd tell you that you was wrong, 'cause Vervain trains me and not you. x3
Loopy: Ah. But I can't be wrong because I'm smarter too. It doesn't matter what you think. I'm... I'm a god. -trying to make Dunixi see that calling himself a god might make others feel put down-
Dunixi: Well I'mma better god than you 'cause I'm the god of everything which includes gods. ;D
Loopy: -sighs softly- You're missing my point, lad.
Dunixi: *droops*... Oh. Uh. What am i supposed to do then? =/
Loopy: -smiles slightly- Nothing lad. Just remember that not everyone wants to hear about you being a 'god'. There are some herla that worship gods and they'll probably take personal offence if you say you are one.
Dunixi: Buuuut... *plops his butt on the ground* I just wanna be the best thing ever so lotsa people will like and I can do anything I wanna.
Loopy: -laughs softly and nudges Dunixi in an almost motherly way- You don't have to be a god for that. You just need to be you. I'm sure that a lot of people already like you. And if you're nice, even more will. It's not be the very best that makes you popular.
Dunixi: So... But... I /want/ to be the very best. Does this mean I can't? ;_;
Loopy: Of course not! Be the best you can. Just remember that people don't like to be reminded that you are. -nuzzles again- Learn all you can from Vervain, just don't stop caring about your friends. Nobody will like you if you become the best but are mean and brag about it. Understand?
Dunixi: *finally starting to understand* Oh... so.. no more god of everything? )x
Loopy: -chuckles softly- I would recommend that you not follow that path. But it's up to you. -nuzzles-
