Atlas City is a large city in the Empire of Lyzelle. It is very close to the coast of the Demon Sea, and a short distance south-east of Sairaag.

....for hiding one's regrets.... ´´¯`••.¸¸.•´´¯`••.¸¸.•´´¯`••.¸¸.•´´¯`••.¸¸.•´´¯`••.¸¸.•´´¯`••.¸¸.•´´¯`••.¸¸.• Lazulia sat quietly on the steps of the Atlas Library, sucking on her hard candy unhappily. She'd come with Xellos, to look up information about something important, but she had no idea why. It had been boring enough inside, but then the librarian had caught her eating the lollipop, and forced her to go outside. She hated getting in trouble more than anything. Xellos hadn't even really noticed that she'd been kicked out.
But then again, he'd told her to stay in the children's section while he looked around. The craft had been fun enough, but then some of the boys decided to tease and pull her hair, so she went to go find Xellos and ask if she could stay with him. And that's when she got into trouble.
"Finally...!" Sherra said in exasperation. She couldn't take following Cerras around much longer. It just wasn't in her to be a 'follower'. Once they arrived in Atlas City, Sherra landed gracefully on the ground and looked around the crowded town square. Humans were rushing about running errands or standing along the edges chatting. It seemed ridiculous to her that they thought they had so much free time to waste. Human lives were practically a second compared to that of monsters.
She then spotted a familiar blonde sitting on the stone steps of a rather large building. "Well...there's one of them." she said, pointing to the girl.

xxxCerras was relieved to see Lazuli sitting there at the front steps of the library. She suddenly felt more energy building up inside of her, and her face wasn't so pale anymore. "Lazuli~!!" The silver-haired mazoku chimed happily, managing an extremely bright smile. "Why do you look so sad?" She bent down to her level and ruffled her hair.

"I got kicked out...because I was eating candy in the library..." she admitted unhappily.
"Well, no offense, but you should've expected that from the 'No Food or Drink in the Library' sign on the front door..." Sherra replied bluntly, folding her arms behind her head.

xxxCerras went somewhat quiet at the the small blond's words, and then shook her head, looking towards the library doors. "Well, you're done with your lollipop now, so we can go in, right?" She swore, if she saw the lady, she'd tear her limb-from-limb for being so rude to Lazuli. Damn her monster-side for finding that a good idea. Let's just hope I don't really see her...

"Yeah...I suppose so..." Lazuli mumbled quietly. She didn't really want to chance going in there again, and risk being yelled at. But like Cerras had said, she'd finished her candy, so the librarian had no reason to complain. And she knew the silver haired mazoku would make sure to take care of it, should anything happen. She walked happily behind them, still a little nervous about being there, so she made sure to stay close to them.
"Knowing Xel, he's probably where the old books are, so that's where we should look first." Sherra said after a while, trying to be helpful. She didn't like that an old bat had been mean to the girl either, but she didn't take it as personally as Cerras had. After all, Lazuli had broken the rules. And that meant she would be punished, hence being kicked out of the library. Seemed like a just punishment to her.

xxxCerras nodded in agreement to Sherra's information and went to the highest section of the library, where all of the oldest books were located. It was up a case of stairs. The silver-haired mazoku cursed in her thoughts, hating walking up them when she was so weak. She almost tripped over the steps many times, before catching her balance. That was when she spotted Xellos. "Hey, Xellos!" She shouted out happily, smiling brightly. That was when another figure came into her view, an older woman, and she was eying Lazuli carefully. It must've been the woman who'd kicked her out before. S-Stay calm ... She thought to herself.

"Oh...Cerras. I wasn't expecting to see you again so soon." he said pleasently, chuckling slightly. He sat the book down on a neaby table and went over to them. Almost immediately he could tell that Cerras was a lot weaker than when he'd last seen her, but he decided to put off the interogation for a bit.
Lzzuli knew the librarian was staring at her, and she instinctively moved closer to Cerras in response. Even though she barely knew her, she couldn't but feel safe around her.

xxx" Well... I'm here now." Cerras muttered softly, she protectively placed a hand around Lazuli, continuing to stare at the librarian. Soon enough, the woman left, but she still felt the anger welled up inside of her.

The mazoku almost never acted hostile towards anyone, so this was rather surprising to him. What was she protecting Zuli from anyway? Had he missed something?
"Well...I'm glad." he said hesitantly, not sure what else to say to her. She didn't seem to be really paying much attention anyway. It seemed that she found the librarian more interesting at the moment. Not that he minded at all. He was greatly looking forward to resuming his research.
Lazulia finally took a breath when the librarian suddenly left. She'd thought she'd get yelled at for sure. Once she was sure the coast was clear, she glanced up at Cerras and smiled at her gratefully.

xxxCerras smiled back to Lazuli and looked to Xellos as he spoke to her. "Good to hear~" She chimed happily, her smile bright. "So, um, what are you looking into exactly, Xellos? " She questioned curiously, blinking in slight confusion.

Sherra replied, though it was more of a fact than a hunch. Because of their connection, she could always tell what he was thinking. It was a perk she never took for granted.
"Perceptive as always, Sherra..." Xellos replied, smiling cheerfully at her. He picked up the book he'd been looking through earlier and set it back on a shelf. "So far, I'm not having much luck..."
Lazuli listened to them silently, blinking in confusion. He was trying to go back to normal? What was that supposed to mean? He was 'normal' right now. Or was human not normal?

xxxCerras sighed, running a hand through her hair in frustration. Poor Xellos. She wanted to help him, but at the same time, she didn't want him to return to normal. "Well, I'm not surprised." The silver-haired mazoku muttered somewhat bluntly, "They likely wouldn't have things like that here. But I suppose it's worth looking, huh?" Her tone became a bit more cheerful, even when it was hard with how she was feeling.

Lazuli continued to stare at them in confusion, and then wandered off towards a nearby table to look at one of the books. She could ask them to explain, but they seemed pretty busy right now. As she sat in the chair, paging through a book with no pictures and a text that looked like chicken scratch, the librarian from before returned to shelve some books and spotted her.

xxxCerras nodded and followed after Lazuli, noticing the librarian staring at her again. She felt deep anger, and sighed, hoping to calm herself down. "Will you leave her alone? She's not doing anything." The librarian only stared at her, and Cerras's golden-yellow eyes narrowed. "Let's go, Lazuli." She really didn't want to rip the librarian's head off.
