Rawr Kitty says:PLEASE READ THIS ALL BEFORE POSTING.
Thank you.
It's not that bad folks. It is simple task of writing a reply with less then 10 words (if you use a complete sentence) It wont take much time and shouldn't be any effort at all. The first part is mandatory, but the next step in the process is voluntary There is however consequences will occur for not doing this. Not only is this a new big project I plan on starting with the guild, it will also be separating the members still actively interesting in the possibilities the guild can provide them and the members who aren't. The latter will be banned. This is not permanent, however. I am an understanding person and will readmit anyone that asks (as long as they were not actions causing the ban, such as rule breaking)
Side Note:
For all of you that are upset that I am doing this with herbs/plants, please don't. I will be doing this with other subjects as well. This one just had enough possible items in it for everyone to easily pick something. If you have any suggestions for a group learning subject you can pm them to Locks_of_Heather. (I was thinking of doing paths next, but I think a vote will be in order)
First Step:
(Mandatory)
This particular homework assignment is to pick a herb or plant. That's it right now. Just pick a herb that you would like to know more about, or just pick something you think is used widely by herbalists. Everyone need to be involved in this one, no if's and or buts. I will be posting an announcement about this and failure to do so could result in a ban.
If there are circumstances and I am pmed about them then I would be willing to unban them. (example: I was on vacation and away from my computer. Or: I haven't been on the computer in months ect.) Even if reinstated, you must post a herb and rejoin this.
Second Step:
(Completely Voluntary)
This is the part we we all ban together and really git into the learning process of this. We will research the plants, contribute what we can, find what they are good for, what phase is best to use then, find spells or things they are good for, and if this works out well we might even be able to work on a few new herbal spells/remedies/eco-friendly substitutions/potions or all of the above.
End Note:
I really do hope this works out so please just give it a try.
If you have feed-back, positive or negative, please pm Locks_of_Heather. I do not want to continue with this if it is unwanted here. I am doing this for the guild after all.
Thank you.

O-TO-KO-YO
I think we are all missing the point here.
Think of this as a "Who is active" thread.
I was just using it as a way to start a new project to all who are willing.
The only thing I ask is that you just throw out a plant or herb name instead of saying "I'm here and am still interested in the guild, don't ban me."
Like I posted in the announcement and the first post. I will be doing this project with many other topics so that everyone will get a chance to participate in something that they want to learn about more, or share with others.
THIS IS A LEARNING AND TEACHING/SHARING GUILD. It always has been. It's on the guild homepage that you were suppose to read before joining. I hate to see people leave, but I am also angered that I have put so much work into this guild for people who are willing to expand their horizons and learn something new, for people that have worked hard to learn something and want to share it with others, for people just beginning that don't know where else to turn, for people that are just looking for the next step, and everywhere in between and beyond, only to have everything I do to be thrown in my face like have nothing but horrible ideas. Yet when I ask people to let me know what they want out of the guild, what would make it worth wild for them to come in here, it's like talking to my alter. I hear voices, but they usually don't mean to much, or I'm ignored.
Now that I feel better after my rant, I would like to thank all of the incredible people that decided to go with it and post something even though they weren't interested. You are all truly bold and willing to take the next step in your path. It takes a lot to step out of your comfort zone, but even this is a teaching with great rewards. Getting to comfortable and set in your ways will weaken and slow the mind. So stay sharp my fellow crafters. ^_~
All who is willing to learn or share is welcome to this guild.
