Out in the darkness, one comes across several broken isles, many of these just floating about, with little to no life on them. The larger ones are only big enough to hold small villages.

This is the first place many new adventurers begin out. There is so many different beliefs mixing about that all work.

The largest village is simply known as Timx, is a rustic scene. There are numerous reed huts, with leaves making the roofing, fires burning bright against the darkness. There are several islands connected by large rope swings that one may travel too, though the villages are all slightly different.

The main oddity, is one speaks and understands one and other in great detail, even though their language of origin may be completely different.

Once one enters a town, they are suddenly blessed with a beautiful blue sky with a sun that moves across it, though one can only wonder how its possible, once one leaves they are just in a murky, black-void, though all the islands give off a dim light, which makes help illuminates ones way.

[[OOC: Yah yah, I know I am breaking my own rules, but this is just a little place that we can start RPing, its not supposed to be complex or big, just a nice little starting place for everyone to start RPing. Granted, I may have made this a little quick for a Lit-RP, but I just wanted to get the RPing started instead of sitting around doing nothin. ]]

Klaus stares up at the underside of his balloons as he leans back. He went to stand up, his left arm dropping off, he sighs, as though this were a usual hassle. He sits down and picks it up, sliding it under the shoulder cape he wore. Before, he put it up, he stopped and thought a moment. He hadn't been to far in this area, so he better use one of the others. Going over, to a large box, he pushes a button, a small amount of steam bellowing out as it opens up. He takes the arm, which looked like a real human flesh arm, setting it on a rack, he took one out. It looked as though it had a shield over the forearm. "Ah, Sabel, I haven't used you in a while.." He says as he puts it up under the shoulder cape, which easily hides it. He feels it connect, shivering. "Ah..Much better.." He says as he turns it over, several small robotic fingers popping out of the bottom as he goes to rear of his ship, grabbing the wheel with his right hand, turning it hard.

His mighty and impressive airship was anything but. It was a small boat floating by two hot hair balloons tied together. There was piping that ran under each, connecting to nozzles that sealed up in the balloons. The boat itself was maybe fifteen feet long, and barely six foot wide, but this was home to Klaus now. Turning hard, he looked at the islands floating about. "Bah..I hate this place..where the hell am I going.."

Alicia Mary hung from the end of a long rope gripping it for dear life. She had of course no trouble holding on with her left arm the way it was but she was terrified. She had already spend a good deal of time falling before and didn't wish to repeat the experience. What if she didn't find anything to even splat on this time? She shook a bit and tried to swing herself but nothing really happened because she was too stiff from terror to build up any momentum. She whimpered softly then heard a noise. Looking up she saw a strange airship that made her head ache. Anger welled up inside her and she let go of the rope with one hand and shook her fist at the ship. "YOU BLOODY... Grah! That just isn't AH!" She screamed as she slid down the rope a few feet and quickly grabbed it tightly again with both hands. She let out a small terrified whimper, no longer able to grip the rope with her legs. She looked up the long rope up to the floating rock it was tied to then back and forth at the two stable floating islands that while so close might as well have been miles away. Then her eyes went down again surveying the endless abyss below her. If only I could use those dratted wings... She tried again in vain to summon them but nothing happened except her feeling silly.

Klaus just looks over at the girl hanging by the line. He sighs and wonders what he should do. "Hm..If I save her..it'll be an extra person..If I don't.." He considers this for a little while, parking the Airship right above her. He sighs and takes a look, he fires the anchor off, lowering it so it was even with her. "If you want to get on you have to jump." he says as he sits there, his cape still hiding his left arm. He sat back and just rested, waiting to see if she do it.

Alicia Mary swallowed looking down at the abyss then over at him. Jump into boat with creepy looking stranger or plummet to your death. Tough decision. She hesitated and twisted her left arm around, looping the rope around it a few times by dint of great physical effort and grabbed up higher with her right hand. At this point she didn't really care if he noticed her arm wasn't breaking like it should. "How the h*** do I jump? Theres nothing to push off of." She growled frustrated. Maybe if she could get a little higher and swing a bit... She focused on the rope trying to ignore the perhaps endless fall below her and started trying to rock back and forth getting a little momentum, trying to swing herself closer at least wincing a bit at the heavy pressure of the rope wrapped around her arm.

He sighed, moving the boat a little, inching closer and down. He leaned out, catching the rope in his right hand, he yanked it a little so she could slide down it now. "Going to get no where if you don't learn to swing." He says as he sits there, waiting for her to land on it. He examined, trying to see if this was his lucky day, trying to peek up her skirt, only to be disappointed that she was wearing jeans. He sighs.

While waiting, he flicks cracks his left shoulder, the cape rustling a little bit. "Hm..Key may be off..." He speaks to himself as he starts humming a song.

She carefully unwound her arm and dropped to the deck with a thump. She shivered standing slowly and checked her quiver. Part of her brain supplied her with instructions on how to make arrows just as she saw she only had three left. Well... after that sort of a fall. She looked up at him and nodded a bit backing up a step or to so she wasn't so close and didn't hurt her neck to look at his face. "Yeah... well... swinging is a lot harder to start from the bottom... I grabbed the rope as I fell past..." Her eyes flicked from his face upward as if checking to see where she had fallen from was still visible. Her eyes went back to him and she held very still not sure that this was any safer than falling to her doom. People were far more creative than falls when it came to unpleasantness and she knew nothing of this stranger. "Thank you." She said softly, eyes flicking a bit as she gave him a quick look over. Clothing was strange but there was nothing outward to declare insanity... and there were no telltale blood spots... but still... Her eyes went to his a bit nervously.

"Nothing to thank me fore." He says as he pushes it away and starts up the engine, pulling the anchor up, it lurches forward, steam puffs coming out the back as he just throttles it forward, spinning the wheel a bit it lurches and starts to head towards nothing in particular. He sat in the back of the boat, his back with him as he grips his left arm and focuses, once he does, there is a small click and he sighs a bit. "Better.." He says as he takes out his small flask, sipping from it. "Well, swinging is useful thing to know, especially.." He stops short as he gets a smile, turning the wheel hard he starts to head to a much larger ship that seemed to be just drifting aimlessly. "Well..Hope you are ready for some fun!" He says gleefully as he angles his little one to charge at the much larger one, pushing its throttle forward, it suddenly rocketed forward.

Alicia Mary stumbled a bit as the ship swayed from the sharp turn and quickly leaned against the guardrail wondering if that was even safe. Part of her brain kept telling her this thing shouldn't fly. "Then thanks for nothing." She mumbled and cursed her inner smart Alec. He didn't seem to hear though and she was instantly curious at the sound of the click but not enough to dare do something. She watched him intently a bit wary. She was slightly puzzled when he didn't finish his morsel of wisdom and slid all the way across the deck as the ship banked suddenly. She yelped and struggled getting into a crouch and stopping herself. Slowly she rose into a half crouch to better deal with the tilting. "Fun?" She looked at the large ship, sliding back a bit from the acceleration. "Are you insane?" She asked and grabbed onto something to keep from sliding further. She had to get off here as soon as safely possible... she'd ask him about that after... now probably wasn't a good time...

"Insane? Probably." He says as he swings the ship's wheel, which suddenly swung it so it was onside the other ship, he ran to the front, grabbin the anchor, he picks it ups, swinging it around he tosses it to the deck of the other ship, pulling the small one up against it. "There we go.." he says as he hops off and starts ot investigate, not seeing anyone yet. His right hand goes to his revolver as he peaks around, feeling uneasy due to the ease of getting aboard. He looked back at the girl. "You can stay on there for now. If trouble, scream." He says as he looks, seeing the way down.

Alicia Mary managed not to slide this time as he banked sharply. She couldn't help but laugh at his answer shaking her head. For some reason it made her a lot calmer. She watched him disembark and stayed where she was pulling one of her Sai out, holding it with her fingers between the prongs and the hilt against her forearm. Great for if you were going to stab people but not good if you wanted to use it for its original purpose. He however had a gun. She didn't like how that boded...

(( What are you planning/ what you want to do with this shipthingy? ))

(( Mm notihng really. ))

Klaus runs down the stairs, once at the bottom he examines things. He sighs, yet another ghost ship. He heads to the engine room and examines it. Seeing that it was heavily damaged, he went and yanked out some pipes and such from the engine, making alot of racket as he started to pull and yank things, not taking his time at all. Going to the back, he found a roll of copper wire, taking his left arm out, he flipped the katar blade around, slamming down, cutting the wood that held the housing to the wall. He then put that in a sack with all the other stuff he had began looting. He went further into the ship, hunting for the treasure room and the dry stores, planning to leave with those too. He just hums a song while he does this type of thing. "Was really hopping for people to rob this time.."

Alicia Mary stood slowly hearing something. It was a faint creaking noise. She considered her options for a while then jumped a bit heavily from one ship to the other. She looked around quickly torn between investigating and staying. If she went to investigate someone might steal the small ship. She turned quickly hearing a noise and saw the quick flash of someone leaping for cover. "Who is there?" She called loudly, partly to keep the other person cautious and perhaps alert the other man that there was someone about. Her sai spun around on her fingers.

Klaus found the treasure room and start taking what he thought was valuable, which was most of the gold. it ended up in the same sack as everything else as he headed to dry food area, finding that there were only a few cans left, he took a few and then headed back topside, yawning a bit as he lugged the bag over his right shoulder, his left arm back under his cape. It took a while to work his way up from the bowel of the ship, but making it topside, he scanned the area once more, seeing Alicia on this ship now.

Alicia Mary's ears were tilted slightly forward as she watched the shadow intently. She could actually hear the other creature's heartbeat. She twitched and glanced over at Klaus as he came to the deck. "There is something..." She saw a flicker out the corner of her eye and spun to watch a giant rat lunge at her. Definitely creature rather than person. She met and ended its attack by ramming her sai deep into its body, holding it at an arm's length as it tried to ravage her in its death throes. She shuddered and tossed it aside trying not to throw up. She still wasn't used to killing things, even if her other self was. "I hate rats..." She mumbled to herself shivering. Blood splattered her sleeve and she felt sick. She tried to hide it though and didn't look at Klaus as she wiped the blood off on the creature's fur then wiped the sai off on the wood of the railing off to one side.
