Okay, yes, this is my first post here, so hey, nice to meet you all. 3nodding
I was thinking that this would be a cool place to see what a lot of people think of my work so far in a the book I'm writing. The few I've showed my stuff to have all liked it so far, but since it would seem as though there are more serious writers here, this would be a bit more fitting.
The book itself is half comedy, half drama, and half nonsense. blaugh
The genre would actually be fantasy, or some crazy thing like that, though. So, would anyone like to see what I have? I have the prologue and first chapter "Gaia-ized", meaning that I've individually fixed all of the crap that MS Word translates into on Gaia, which is a lot. Seriously, every quotation, every apostrophe, and also hyphens turn into a series of three weird illegible symbols. It's horrible. But whatever, enough of me talking. I just want to know if people here woul like to read it and tell me what you think. (Just keep in mind that it's all first draft still >_> )

Of course. Feel free to do that. However, I would like you to make sure you've read all of the stickies and announcements about where to put your posts, what you have to do to post work, etc. I'm sure you'll get some people to critique your work.

Well, I hope you all like reading a lot, because there is a TON of writing on that post. Seriously. At least 12 pages worth. Not a lot in general, but for a Gaia post, that's an impressive bit.
