I have to ask since I never understood this.

What's so important about virginity? It's just a ceremonial term right? Also do you have to be a virgin in order to go to heaven?

Saving your virginity for the right one to come into your life and love you everyday. Now that is special. You don't have to be a virgin to get to heaven. As long as you believe in God and believe that Jesus sacrificed himself for our sins and that he is the messiah. biggrin

@Tears, it doesn't matter if you've had sex twenty times or one hundred times before you come to know Christ, if you believe in Him, and that he died so that you might have everlasting life. That being said, I am not saying it is okay to have sex 20 or even 100 times, it's simply an example. God in the Bible say to wait until marriage to have sex, giving your virginity to your loved one (husband or wife) is one of the greatest gifts you can give them, it is also the gift that can be given only once. I would like to say more, but I've forgotten what else I was going to say. x.x' Hope this helped.

@warrior, you put it simply. I'd probably end up going into a big long thing about it. xD

God created sex for the married.
I view my bf of 5 years to be the 'right one' for me but we are not married. Therefore, we do not have sex.

I think of my comintment to God to remain a virgin till I'm married because I feel it is right for me to do. I also know you don't have to remain a virgin to get into heaven. But saving yourself for that right one is special, but no you don't have to be to get into heaven.

You don't need to be a virgin to go to heaven. Salvation allows you to go to heaven.
However, being a virgin 'til marriage shows purity and how your actions coincide with you being saved and a Christian.
So, no sex 'til marriage people!

Married people are a man and a woman who love each other SO deeply, that they want to express it formally, in such a manner that it symbolizes God's relationship with the Church.

The sacrament is just a ceremony. If the one you have sex with is TRUELY the one you love, God knows that Abstinence shouldn't matter there.

Even though you should makes vows and be married...just to prove that you won't leave and that the love is completely confirmed.

The Sacrament is just a ceremony.

God didn't CREATE SEX FOR THE MARRIED.

Adam and Eve weren't married. They had sex. God doesn't have sex with us either, so he didn't technically create it. He may have constructed the PARTS but that's it. We knew the rest.

Marriage is just a sacramental ceremony. But I'm not completely arguing with you. Always go through marriage, to be sure.

Now marriage is also formally a way of saying "We have sex." If you are married, you ARE SUPPOSED to have sex with your spouse. If for some reason, that isn't able to happen by certin circumstances, it's okay.

Marriage and Sex both represent the Holy bond between man and woman...which Adam and Eve Had. Man and woman turn into one flesh (is anyone one thinking baby here?!??!). One love. One.
Now adam didn't see eve walk up te aisle in Intalian styled white dress, and there was no Chaplain saying, "You may now kiss the Bride." And that was the kind of Marriage you were referring to. Just a traditional ceremony.
