~ Story ~
(Short version)
When different races lived in peace with the Elemental Dragons, the Dragon of Darkness was greedy and went to an evil sorcerer, Arkon, who took control of the Dragon of Darkness. The Dragon of Light fought and died but not before using her spirit to find the perfect partner for a Dragon of each Element. Now, only a single dragon of each element is left and time is ticking till the remaining Dragons are found and destroyed.
(Detailed Version)
Long ago, there was a time where people of all different races lived in peace with the great Elemental Dragons. For many years, the people would offer their services to the Great Dragons in return for their powers, ranging anywhere from fire, ice, metal, and darkness.
Unfortunately, the Dragon of Darkness was desperate for more and more power. He met up with an old sorcerer, Arkon, who told him, he could give him more power. Blinded by desperation, the Dragon of Darkness agreed to let to sorcerer ‘work his magic’. Arkon ended up betraying the Dragon of Darkness, putting him under a hallucination that he was all powerful, while controlling the Dragon’s every move.
Arkon forced the Dragon of Darkness to challenge the Dragon of Light, Zetnamin, for total power. Knowing what would happen, Zetnamin accepted his challenge and ordered the other Dragons not to interfere with this battle. Zetnamin was set on taking down the Dragon of Darkness on her own.
In truth, Zetnamin knew she wasn’t going to live, but hoped to take the Dragon of Darkness, along with Arkon, down with her. She was unsuccessful. Arkon used the Dragon of Darkness to hunt down the other Dragons who did not join Arkon’s side. One by one, they were taken down, until there were only one Dragon of each Element left and they went into hiding.
One thing Zetnamin did accomplish, was the fact that it would take more than just Dragons to take down Akron and his new ‘pet’. She used the last of her spirit to search for special people. These special people were the only ones able to handle a specific Element and the Dragon that controls it.
It took many year, but finally, these people were born and marked with the sign of the Elemental Dragon that they were destined to fight beside for the first time. These people were given special abilities such as being able to use the Element of the Dragon that they’re ‘connected’ to.
This is where your journey beings. Throughout your life, you’ve experience visions from an unknown source. Something drawing you away from home. Something you must search for and find, fast. Something is waiting for you, but so is Arkon and his ’pet’. Be careful.

If I ask you to do something, please just do it. 4- I won’t turn you away from making mistakes, I only ask that you try not to make them. If someone asks you to fix it, please do. No trouble please. 5- I’m not putting an age rating in here, you guys should know better. 6- If I have to tell you to take your ‘scene’ to PMs, then I’ll just kick you out. 7- One element per person and Dragon. Water can’t control Ice, Rock can’t control Plants. Got it? 8- Send all Profiles to me, labeled as “Elemental Dragons in another Realm” or something so I know what RP and what guild. 9- If there’s something that needs to be changed on your Profile, just PM me and I’ll take care of it. 10- If you have an issue with a character or the Gaian controlling them, let me know and I’ll see what I can do. 11- No killing off characters without the permission of me and the other person you’re killing. 12- If you choose to die, you can make another character. 13- I would like you to post as often as you can. If you disappear, I will PM you and ask for a reason. I won’t kick you out for no reason, unless you really tick me off, and that’s hard to do. 14- Fighting and Romance and all that other stuff is encouraged. I’d like to keep things interesting. 15- I have the right to change and alter these rules as I please. If something is changed, I’ll let everyone know.

Anna and Torch  Anna looked down, running her fingers gently over the birthmark on her chest.
"So, why are we here?"
Anna asked, looking down at a small village through the trees nearby. "Because, you need a break. And I sence that there is trouble here in the Village."
Torch explained, his snout gently placed on her shoulder.  Anna pet his snout softly.
"What good can fire do for a poor village?" she asked. "You'll have to find out for yourself."
Torch laughed lightly.
"I don't know everything.""Really?"
Anna said sarcastically. She laughed lightly as she waved goodbye to Torch.
She walked down to the edge of the village. She didn't know what she was supposed to do.
'He says he wants me to take a break, but I need to come down here because there is trouble?'
Anna thought to herself. Though the village looked peaceful, she kept a hand on at least one of her blades as she walked.

Arik and Shak   Arik Thrim sat in the bar of a small and peaceful village, relaxing. He had an ale in his hand, and he seemed as innocent as any other around. Little did the pathetic village know that today was the day of their Judgement.
Arik had left Shak outside the village, hidden in a large cave, where Shak could hide using his powers. Arik's plan was to relax for the day and enjoy the village before he wiped it out. The plan was simple. No dragon rider would be concerned with a little village, so there would be nobody to guard it, or so he thought.
Arik remained a hooded figure among the crowd at the bar. He was dressed in purple, a color that he enjoyed wearing. "Excuse me, but I must be going. I shall return shortly." He told the bartender. "Just put the cost on my tab, and I shall repay it when I return."
And with that, Arik exited the bar, and headed into the town common, in search of shops.

Yahiki and Yong  Yahiki really had NO idea why he was assigned here, but he liked it. It was a small quaint town. It was well forested and plenty of small creatures to frolic with. He couldn't have been happier, but he could have SWORN a different Rider was assigned here. He didn't care.
"Yahiki~... When are we going to do our job~?" whinned Yong.
"When I feel like doing it." he explained simply.
"And when will you feel like doing it?" she asked.
"After~. . . Uhh~,.... Fine.... We'll go scout..." he said pathetically.
"But,... wouldn't it be smarter for me to stand guard here and you just go to the town? I don't think they would appreciate me being there, us being on the list of enemies and all..."
He sighed heavily, obviously not wanting to do this. "OK! Gosh! I get it!"
He grabbed the cloak he was given and headed into town.

Anna and Torch As Anna walked though the town, she stopped every once in a while, looking at the small pieces of art.
This small town reminder her of the town she lived if for so long. Since she left her clan, she lived in secret among the mortals. It was nice, until she met Torch.
She loved him to death, but she had to admit that live was much easier before she met him.
As Anna went over her old life, she was brought back to reality by a shriek. "Ah!" Anna looked over to a tower of boxes starting to fall over with a elderly woman in the way.
Anna ran quickly and stopped the boxes. They were heavier than what she expected, but being half Vampire, it didn't faze her. She leveled them out and turned to the old lady.
"Ma'am, are you OK?" "Oh yes Dear. Thank you so much."
And away she went.Anna stood there silently with a smile on her face. Seeing the old woman not at all bothered by her odd speed and strength made her feel accepted in some way.Torch watched from the hills, his eyes peering carefully over the town. He couldn't pin point the source of 'Trouble', but he knew it was here.

Arik and Shak As Arik wandered through the town, he noticed a strange scene. An old lady was in trouble, and with amazing speed, an odd girl saved her. This interested Arik, so he decided to study the girl closer. When he god a bit closer, his cloak hiding his face and marking, he noticed the girl was a dragon rider. The Mark was clear above her breast. Arik frowned and approached her silently and swiftly.
"Ma'am, I am not here to harm you, so do not be alarmed. I only request that you follow me. We have important matters to discuss. You'll understand why in a place more private." He said in a gruff voice, grabbing Anna's arm gently and pulling her towards an inn.
Arik had no intention of killing the girl at the moment. He wanted to know why she was there, and what her purpose was. He also wondered if he could get her to ally with him. While Arik was part of the Shadow Army, he had his own agendas as well. Knowing this, he was sure they would send another rider to keep him in check. Arik hoped to use this woman to help him deter the inevitable trouble, as well as make an ally outside of the Shadow Army, in case things went sour.

Anna and Torch Anna was caught off guard, but fallowed the young man anyways. It was apparent that he had something valuable to say, and maybe it was of use to her.
"What is this about?" she asked.
Of course she was to be cautious. She kept her free hand on a blade.Torch watched carefully. His wings spread, ready to take flight.Anna could feel Torch's dislike of the situation, but knew he didn't need to come out of hiding. She wasn't worried about the Dragons Riders going extinct. There will always be humans. It was the Dragons she was worried about.
'Torch, stay there. I'll be fine. I'll call you when I need you, OK?' she said in her head. 'Fine Anna, but if he tries something, I'm not going to wait for your call.' 'I wouldn't expect anything less.'
Anna smiled to herself.

Arik and Shak Arik led Anna into a room in the inn that he had already rented for the night, and he offered her a seat on his bed, while he took a chair. To anyone else, Arik looked very young. In fact, he looked about the same age as Anna appeared. The difference was that Arik was, in fact, much older, and his experience spoke for him often.
"Dragon Rider, My name is Arik Thrim. I am also a rider, though a much older and experienced one. While we are not on the same side and do not fight for the same reasons and cause, I believe we can cooperate. You see, i have my own plans, and I am merely with the Shadow Army for the time being, until I can bring my own visions to life. I ask that you sympathize with my cause and I hope you will be willing to work with me." He informed her, removing his cloak to reveal his fit and young body underneath, protected by light armor, made for dragon riding by elvish smiths.
Shak grumbled in his cave. "Arik, you cannot trust her. She is a passionate one, I can tell. This girl is not one to easily follow others." He told Arik mentally.

Anna and Torch 'Did you get that torch?' she thought'Yeah, I got it.' Torch said in her head, 'I want to know more.'Anna sighed and looked around. She looked Arik over carefully. She looked around the room as she continued to mentally speak with Torch.
'Do you think we can trust him?' she asked.'It's too soon to tell, just be on your guard. He did openly admit to being with the shadow army.'"That's right." Anna whispered out loud, placing a hand in her blade. 'Just be careful.''You too.'Her eyes traveled around the room and back to him. She wore some what of a glare on her face, though it seemed gentle.
"I'm listening."

Yahiki and Yong In the town, Yahiki could feel the presence of at least one other dragon rider. He wanted to know where they were, who they were and if it really was only one other.
In the forest, Yong was scouting the outer edges. She could tell that there were a few other dragons in the area and wanted to go find them.
He walked almost all over the town until he stopped in front of an inn. He knew that that's where they were. He warily went inside only to get bombarded with questions and hellos and such from everyone. He couldn't help it,... he snapped.
Two people down within 5 seconds of each other. One of the maids screamed, shortly there after, everyone else was screaming and and panicking.

Arik and Shak Arik suddenly drew his blade from the sheath at his side with amazing speed and grace, and moved swiftly to the door. Something was clearly wrong. Someone was causing a commotion below them.
"Shak, I want you to remain hidden for now, but be ready. We may have to act swiftly here. There's a bit of trouble." He said to Shak before turning to Anna.
"I hope you can use those blades well, Young lady. We may have a bit of trouble here. I give you my word I will not turn on you here, as long as you agree to do the same." He said, getting ready for a fight.
Shak was now tensed and ready for action, but he remained hidden for the moment, as Arik requested.
"If you get in too much trouble, I'm bailing you out, no matter what." He told Arik.
