well, for starters Im extremely conservative in my political and just every day moral views. from my experience in California, when the people up there have an opinion (which they always do) they feel like it is their moral duty to express it regardless if the person they are tellin to really cares what they have to say or think. (and most times if that person is me.. I dont care, its not their business) I feel like if someone is asked what their opinion is on a topic or situation then by all means go to town, but if someone is obviously not in the mood to be preached to or lectured at, please keep your thoughts to your self.. I'm not sayin its everyone out there but its defiantly more so then here in Texas. I love our first amendment so im not talkin about important issues that need to be addressed being silenced... im simply talking about one on one conversation when people dont mind their business. Or if it is a huge issues I dont like someone trying to press their beliefs on me. Ive been to California every year for weeks at a time since i was 15ish so I didnt just come to this conclusion out of no where. I feel like every time I visit and am sitting at a coffee shop or walkin in the city something or someone is coming around tryin to "inform" me or they insist I talk to them about something Im not comfortable with talking about ( I was raised not to talk about politics or religion). I tend to keep my opinions to my self when talking with people who think differently then I think unless they can maturely ask how I feel about something and respect it. I hope I dont sound like a jerk I >_<

also on the same note, I consider my self a well educated and well rounded person. Most of the headlining issues or ticket political issues that people like to talk about I have an interest in as well and have done my share of homework so that I am informed enough to have an opinion. And in the case that I haven't heard much about an issue or event Ill listen and comment on what I take in, and at a later time ill look it up if It was something worth looking at.
