Rule #1: Follow the Gaia ToS. Any infringements will be reported to Gaia.
Rule #2: If you use the work of someone else, please give the original creator (or series) credit.
- If it is found out that you are copying someone else without crediting them, you will be suspended.
- Second infringement will cause termination from whatever RP or debate you are part of (at the discretion of the RP or Debate owner).
- Third; termination from guild.
Rule #3: Have respect for ALL users.
- Trolls will not be tolerated, flamers will be extinguished, and abusers will be reported (Preferably all three reported).
- Even if you do not agree with the opinion of someone else, do not treat them as lesser.
- Insults are not to be levied, if someone insults you, let the moderators know. We will take care of it.
- If you feel threatened, report threat first, then notify us that someone was reported, and what he/she did if we can help.
Rule #4: If you want to have a rating higher than PG-13, make sure with at least one of the Moderators that it is okay first, then post it CLEARLY in the title. (E.G. 18+ only, 14+ only, etc). However, despite ratings, there are some things that will not be allowed;
- No ERP's.
- No explicit nudity.
- No excessive profanity. (Profanity is okay, but swearing every other word, or as much as possible because of a rating is inexcusable. Profanity is not maturity when used like a child with a shiny new toy.)
- Be wary of sensitive subjects. You may discuss anything, but if enough people are willing to kindly point out that it should not be discussed, please respect their request. Ask a Moderator if you need advice on what is 'enough people'.
- No permanent character death against player's will, unless specified in RP rules.
Rule #5: Do not try to abuse your privileges or manipulate the moderators;
- No false accusations.
- As much as I hate to say this one; if you are accused of something, and you delete your post, you look guilty. Make it easier on all of us, don't delete anything until the whole mess is cleared up.
- Bribing is NOT acceptable. If I personally find out that anyone was bribing, or accepting bribes, they will be kicked from the guild, no questions asked.
- If any moderator abuses their powers, they will be kicked... you guessed it... no questions asked.
Rile #6: If you want your own sub-forum, send me a message requesting the purchase;
- I expect 50% of the cost of the sub-forum on the first purchase.
- Any purchases after your very first - up to five - I ask you pay for the full sub-forum purchase price.
- If you insist on buying more sub-forums, I expect double the cost for each sub-forum beyond your fifth full-priced purchase. (If this sounds like an attempt to keep from someone flooding the guild, it is because that's exactly what it is.)
- Failure to pay will result in no Sub-forum.
- As with me, there are no refunds upon regret, but you may sell your sub-forum to another user at whatever price you decide to sell it for. However, if it does not sell in one month, it will be deleted and I will return 1/4 of what you paid for that particular sub-forum to you.
Final Rule: Rules may be added later at my discretion and the discretion of moderators, but no rules may be retracted without just cause.
