Eye contact with any living thing causes a subconcious mental attack that causes three stages of maddness; insane, murderess and suicidal. Victim experiences intense halucinations that contain every aspect of their fears.
Telepathic contact from others can also cause loss of sanity.
Put in basic terms, anyone or thing that makes eyecontact with her will experience a hellish nightmare, killing others in an attempt to protect themselves, till they take their own lives.
Abigail can also vaugely sense others fears.
Abbie used to live with her father, Henry, visiting her Mother, Clare, younger sister, Beth, and stepfather, Dave, on the weekends. 3 months ago, Amelia went on a camping trip with Beth and Dad. Beth woke Abbie up, then started screaming after Abbie open her eyes. Beth stumbled out of the tent Abbie and she where sharing, grabbed their Dads heavy machete, and began wildly slashing at the monsters she could she swarming around her. She couldnt see Abbie, but Dad was different.
Abbie watched, stunned, as Beth hacked her Dad apart, then beheaded herself.
Out of phone range, Abbie had to walk to the campers station, 40km away. She horrified and confused by what had happened. When she got to the station, a similar thing happened to the owners. The woman at the counter saw her, and as soon as she looked at Abbies eyes, the woman screamed, glanced around her as though the world had sunk into hell, grabbed the shot gun from under the desk, and ran outside. Abbie called the cops, and by the time they got to the station, the woman had killed her 4 co-workers and herself. Then the first police-officer reached Abbie.
The other police knocked him down before he killed anyone, but Abbie had worked it out by then. She tore a piece of fabric from her jumper and tied it around her head like a blindfold.
The police found the other bodies, and Abbie's slightly ajusted stories fit the edvidence, if laking any motives, so the police took her home to her Mum.
The police officer who had look Abbie in the eyes was deemed insane and locked in a mental assylum, till he hung himself 2 weeks later. Abbie told her Mum and Dave what happened. Dave wanted to kick her out of the house, but Mum convinced him to try taking her to a Psychic mutant who could try to find a way around it.
The night after the mutant woman slaughtered herself and 7 others, even though Abbie constantly wore a blindfold since the camping trip, Dave forced her to pack up as much of her stuff would fit in a single travel bag and drove her up to the "Freak School".
