The Charmings' have several large estates because they are filthy rich, this being one of those larger then life estates. It was practically just Evan's house, well to begin with anyway. He was the only one who stayed there on a constant basis. He eventually moved some of his trusted Hunters in with him. Yet, contrary to popular belief, it was simply to ease the loneliness. The Estate is still around and in fairy good condition. Evan is now a leader of the Knights taking over his dead mother's role and finds himself with a mass of followers ready and willing to be at his disposal.
